LIMITED WARRANTY

TERMS OF LIMITED WARRANTY

Friedrich Air Condi t i oni ng Co. warrants to the original purc haser that this Friedrich Ai r Conditioner is free from defect s as to material
and workmanship.

This Warranty pertai ns to such manufacturing defects as m ay develop through normal usage and is in effect f or a period of 12
months from dat e of installation or 18 mont hs from the original date of purc hase (date of invoic e), whichever date shall oc cur first.
The Company’s obligation under this W arranty is lim ited to furnis hing (FOB San Antoni o, Texas – no freight all owed), at its option,
either a suitable replacement part or a remanufactured part or assem bly for the sole purpose of replac ing any part or parts which
may be defective. All s uch warranty claim s s hall be direct ed through an authorized Friedrich Dist ributor/Dealer. Friedrich reserves
the right to have the defective part returned to Friedrich for examination at t he c ustomer’s expense.

This Warranty does not apply to air filters, fuses, c abinet enclosures, refrigerant charge, and dam age to any part resulting from
installation not in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations; nor does it apply to exterior finishes, except where
examination disclos es t hat s ame was defect ive at the ti me of i nitial s hipment . This W arranty also does not apply to a Fri edrich Air
Conditioner, or any part thereof, which has been s ubject to misuse, neglect, al teration, accident, flood, fire, or A ct of God. No
warranty shall apply if the product has been used on electrical c ircuits of vol tage and cycle charact eristics ot her than specified on
the model and serial number pl ate.

The furnishing of replacement parts as described above shal l constitute com pl et e fulfillment of all obl i gations with respect to the
Friedrich Air Conditioner. Under no ci rcumstances does Friedri ch assume any responsibility for service, labor cost s, or
transportation charges. THESE WARRANTIES ARE GIVEN IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING THE IMPLIE D WARRANTIE S O F ME RCHANTABILITY OR FI T NESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
