DIGITAL MASTER RECORDER D-25

Four head professional digital master recorder that features synchronization, 16Mbit RAM, RS422 and parallel I/F.

The D-25 is a professional digital master recorder featuring the confidence monitoring, and insert editing using a four head transport. The D-25 has all necessary sync functions for any professional application including the ability to chase sync to a master timecode. The D-25 will resolve to external references such as WORD/VIDEO/ DAT frame signal + WORD.

Use the D-25's built-in 16Mbit RAM for instant start and RAM scrub functions. RS422 port (device mode: controlled) and 37pin parallel port are standard. Independent recording, reproducing of left channel, right channel, TC track and jog/shuttle operations are possible in communication with various external devices using either the RS422 or 37pin parallel port.

D-25 FEATURES

  • The four head transport enables off tape (confidence) monitoring during recording (read after write), insert editing (punch Built-in 16Mbit (4Mbit × 4) RAM enables you to perform instant start and RAM scrub functions.
  • The D-25 can chase-sync to timecode sent from a master machine. Timecode registration with an accuracy of 1/100 of a

Built-in internal timecode generator enables the D-25 to generate timecode that can resolve to an external video signal

  • Built-in high speed timecode reader with a readable range of: × 1/30 ~ 100 times play speed (forward and reverse direction) MichaelO
  • Sync to external signal listed below;
1) WORD de

2) VIDEO (a: Composite signal, b: Frame pulse signal, c: Field pulse signal)

WORD + DAT frame sync signal

  • Crossfade time can be changed within a range of 0ms ~ 300ms (default: 10ms).
  • Switchable sampling frequency of either 44.1kHz or 48kHz. The 0.1% mode also can be set up for each sampling frequency
  • Timecode from either external or internal generator can be recorded in the sub-code area and be played back
  • •Blank search allows quick access to the last recorded section.
  • •REC MUTE function enables digital processed no signal-recorded section
  • •Digital full copy includes the sub-code area with TC and all IDs
  • The D-25 uses the best 64 times over-sampling Delta-Sigma A/D converter (AK5326).
  • Equipped with an easy to read FL display.
  • Writing and erasing of S-IDs is possible.
  • A 37-pin parallel interface equivalent to a Fostex Model 8334 and a GPI output are standard.
  • The D-25 has both a jog mode (cueing by × 1/2 to 2 play speed) and the faster shuttle mode (cueing by × 1/2 to 16 play
  • The D-25 includes RS422 port complying to Sony 9 pin protocol. Use this to control the D-25 with external devices. Other
