Never move any part of machine or load closer

For example, if a line insulator is 6 inches long,
operator must stay at least 10 feet plus 2x the line

to move the machine away from the electric line
without pulling line down, have someone contact
the utility company to disconnect power from line.
If this is not possible, or if machine begins to burn,
jump away from machine to the ground with both

located in the LH engine compartment, and are

designed to prevent accidental starting of the engine
while servicing machine, prevent accidental battery
drain, and to deter vandalism.
Turn primary battery disconnect master switch (A) OFF
to disconnect the electrical system.
Turn secondary battery disconnect master switch (B)
OFF to disconnect the Pro-heat system.
Do not turn either master
disconnect switch o while engine is running. Doing
so will cause loss of electrical power, resulting in
personal injury or property damage.
Turn primary battery disconnect master switch (A) ON
to connect the main electrical system.
Turn secondary battery disconnect master switch (B)
ON to connect the Pro-heat electrical system.
There needs to be a minimum 30 second delay between when the engine is shut
down and when the battery disconnect master is shut o
to allow the ECU to store information. If this is not done,
some of the historical operating parameter information
will not be properly stored, and fault codes will be generated.
Pro-Heat option is functional
with main battery master disconnect switch in OFF position.

NOTICE
FIRE PREVENTION
Fires can cause personal
injury or machine damage.
Keep machine clean. Remove debris, especially from
heat sources. Fire prevention beats re ghting. Hourly
or daily inspections can reduce the possibility of res.
Forest debris can collect
on the machine and cause a re. When forest debris
mixes with ammable uids in a hot, conned space,
the risk of a re starting greatly increases. KEEP THE
MACHINE CLEAN.
Check machine daily for re hazards. Remove debris from areas of the machine that create heat and that are
potential re start points. Depending of machine model, check for ammable debris in the following locations:
• Engine block • Turbocharger
• Exhaust manifold • Battery
• Electrical connections • Control valves
Fire needs fuel. Remove combustible material (fuel for re) from heat sources. Keep the machine clean. Remove
the following material from areas of the machine that create heat:
• Pine needles • Twigs • Debris
• Shop rags • Oil spills • Coolant Mixture
• Leaves • Sticks
• Grease • Bark
• Sawdust • Diesel fuel
Keep the machine clean. Risk of re increases if combustible materials and amma-
ble materials build up on machine. This machine was not designed to house or store combustible materials.
Regularly remove ammable materials (such as diesel fuel, engine oil, hydraulic oil and grease) from all areas of
the machine. Clean up after working. Keep the fuel and hydraulic systems in good repair.
Check hydraulic hoses, fuel lines and ttings for leaks. Tighten loose ttings. If hoses or lines are bent, kinked or
show signs of wear, install new parts. Check electrical connections to be sure they are clean and secure.
Frayed or worn insulation on battery cable or other wires may lead to electrical res. Check cable and wires and
replace if insulation is frayed, worn or damaged.
