INTRODUCTION
The Fortress Safeguard Is An All-in-one Entry
Immediately When Any Programmed
Accessories Are Triggered.
There Are Many Accessory Options Available
To Add Including:
PIR Motion Detectors
Gas Leakage Detectors,
Smoke Detectors,
Emergency Buttons, Etc.
Additionally Remote Controls Can Be Added
For Ease Of Use.
When Armed, If The Magnet Is Separated
From The Fortress Safeguard, Or Any Other
Programmed Detector Is Triggered, The
Alarm Will Sound Immediately. The Host Can
Have Up To 10 Detectors And 20 Remote
Controls Programmed To It. There Are 4
Different Zones That Have Changeable Zone
Type Settings.

FUNCTION
Turning On/off The Device:
• Press and hold the button for 2 seconds.
When the device is turning on, the red indicator will scroll from the top down.
When the device is turning off, the red indicator will scroll from the bottom up.
Changing the alarm mode:
• Press and release the button to switch between alarm siren mode or doorbell mode.
Arm/Disarm the device:
• When armed, any sensor triggered, including host device, will trigger the alarm/doorbell.
• When disarmed, no sensor will trigger the alarm/doorbell unless it is on a chime or emergency type zone.
Press the button to arm or disarm.
The device will flash and beep once when armed.
The device will flash and beep twice when disarmed.
Using The Fortress Safeguard As A Standalone Device:
When operated as a standalone device, no other sensors or
devices will trigger the alarm/doorbell. When the magnet (B) is separated from the transmitter (A), the device will sound immediately.

Door Sensor Alarm Host Using Method:
Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to enter programming
mode.
When all 4 LED lights are lit, the device is ready for remote controls to be added.
Press any button on a remote control.
Lights will flash and host will beep twice.
Press and release the button to cycle through the zone numbers. (See note below for which light indicator is which zone)
To program auxiliary devices onto a zone, activate them like you would to set the alarm off.
Light will flash and host will beep twice.
To exit programming mode, press and release the button or wait 20 seconds without any operation.
Note:
From top to bottom, the first indicator light is the first zone, the second indicator light is second zone, the third indicator light is the third zone, the fourth indicator light is the fourth zone.
Important information:
If the alarm host beeps once when attempting to add auxiliary sensor, that sensor is already programmed into the device. If all indicator lights flash 3 times it means the Fortress Safeguard is full.
Note:
The Safeguard can hold 10 sensors and 20 remote controls.

REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTION:
• Delete remote control.
Press and hold the button until all lights come on.
Press and hold the button again until the host flashes and beeps five times.
CHANGING ZONE MODES:
The Fortress SafeGuard is set to “Normal Defense Zone” by default. There are two Defense Zone types: Normal and Independent.
• Normal Defense Zone.
All four zones are normal zones.
• Independent Defense.
Zones 1 and 2 are normal zones, zone 3 is a chime zone, and zone 4
is an emergency zone.
THE ZONE TYPES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
NORMAL: Detectors in this zone will trigger the host in an armed state.
If host is disarmed, triggering these detectors will have no effect.
CHIME: Doorbell will sound if the system is armed or disarmed.
EMERGENCY: Alarm will sound if the system is armed or disarmed.
• Changing Defense Zone Type.
Press and hold the and button until device beeps and light flashes.
All lights flash means Normal mode
Top two lights flash means Independent Zone mode.

INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION GUIDE:
Please note the following warnings so you can be sure your device doesn’t break on you.
INSTALLATION INTRODUCTION:
Once you have planned where to mount your sensors, be sure the surface is cleaned before placing tape. Use preferred cleaning solution. Allow area to dry before application.
Note: Be sure to mount the transmitter (A) on the door and the
magnet (B) on the doorframe. Make sure the transmitter and magnet are within ¼” inch of each other.
Don’t install where it can be broken easily.
Don’t install in an unstable location.
Don’t install near other magnetic devices.

MAINTENANCE
FACTORY RESET
REPLACING BATTERY:
1. There is a sliding cover on the back of the transmitter (A). Press and
slide towards the bottom of the device.
2. Remove the old battery
3. Put in the two new AAA 1.5V batteries.
4. Test the sensor
(Arm the device, then use a magnet to trigger the
sensor)
5. Fasten the sensor where it was installed previously.
1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Disconnect one of the batteries.
3. Press and hold the button.
4. Reconnect the battery while still holding the button.
5. The device will remain lit and the siren will beep 10 times followed
by 6 quick beeps/flashes.
6. Let go of the button.
