LED SPOTLIGHT FL-1010
1 APPLICATION
Your cordless ultra bright heavy duty spotlight provides a safe and portable source of light where and when you need it. It is ideal for use during automotive repair work, roadside emergencies, work around the home, camping, or during power failures. It is not designed for commercial use.
WARNING! Please read and understand this operating manual before use and keep it for your future reference. Your power tool should only be passed on together with these instructions.

3 PACKAGE CONTENT LIST
Remove all packing materials Remove remaining packaging and transit supports (if existing) Check the completeness of the packing content Check the appliance, the power cord, the power plug and all accessories for
transportation damages.
Keep the packaging materials as far as possible till the end of the warranty
period. Dispose it into your local waste disposal system afterwards.

5 SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to
follow all the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
SAVE ALL THE WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Do not use if broken, bent, cracked or damaged parts are presented. Any light
that appears damaged in any way or operates abnormally should be removed from service immediately.
Inspect before each use. This light is not to be used by children. Keep out of reach of children. Do not shine directly into eyes. Do not leave the light turned on and unattended. Do not alter or modify this product and do not attempt to repair the battery. Do not expose to fire or high temperatures. The battery may explode. Do not charge or use near open flames or glowing embers.
6 CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS
The Work Light must be fully charged before being used for the first time as
soon as taken from the package.
This will ensure that the battery gives its best performance now and on future
re-charging cycles.
The AC and DC charging adapters are for re-charging the battery only. They
cannot be used to directly power the light.
Always ensure the light is switched off while charging.
6.1 Using the AC Charging Adapter
1. Unscrew the back cover pull out the battery pack and disconnect all wires
2. Plug the adapter’s jack plug into the socket on the battery pack.
3. Plug the adapter into a 230V AC socket
4. The charging indicator lamp will glow RED while charging is in progress.
5. The battery will be fully charged after approximately 6-8 hours, and the RED charging indicator will turn to GREEN when the unit is fully charged.
6. Disconnect the jack plug from the light, remove the adapter from the wall socket or switch off.

To prevent overheating do not charge for more than 8 hours.
6.2 Safety Precautions for the AC Charging Adapter
Use 230V AC charging adapter indoors in a dry location only. Exposure to
damp or wet conditions could cause electrocution or damage to adapter.
Do not use the charger in the vicinity of flammable liquids or materials. Store in dry location and do not allow the charging adapter to come in contact
with water, rain or snow. If the charging adapter comes into contact with water, place in a dry location at room temperature, on a soft absorbent towel and allow to dry thoroughly. Do not operate the unit until it is completely free of moisture.
Only use the AC charging adapter supplied with the light. Do not attempt to charge the light with an adapter that is not compatible as
this could result in a fire, damage to the light or personal injury.
6.3 Using the DC Charging Adapter
1. Unscrew the back cover, and pull out the battery pack
2. Plug the adapters jack plug into the socket on the battery pack.
3. Plug the adapter into the vehicles 12 V DC cigarette lighter or accessory power socket.
4. The charging indicator lamp will glow RED while charging is in process.
5. The battery will be fully charged after approximately 6 hours, and the RED charging indicator will be turned to GREEN when the unit is fully charged.
6. Disconnect the jack plug from the light, and remove the DC adapter from the outlet socket.
To prevent overheating do not charge for more than 8 hours.
6.4 Safety Precautions for the DC Charging Adapter
The DC charging adapter can be used in most vehicles by plugging into the 12
V DC cigarette lighter or accessory power socket.
Store in dry location and do not allow the charging adapter to come in contact
with water, rain or snow.
If the charging adapter comes into contact with water, place in a dry location
at room temperature on a soft absorbent towel and allow to dry thoroughly.
Do not operate the unit until it is completely free of moisture. Use only the DC charging adapter supplied with this light. Do not attempt to
charge the light with an adapter that is not compatible as this could result a fire, damage to the light or personal injury.

7 OPERATION
7.1 Switch on/off
To switch on : squeeze the ON/OFF switch To switch on : release the ON/OFF switch
Lock function.
To lock the light in the ON position : Switch the light on, hold the trigger switch pressed, push the lock button (5) and hold, release the ON/OFF trigger switch. To unlock : press the ON/OFF trigger switch and release.
7.2 Stand alone lamp.
The lamp can stand on it’s own. To do so, fold out the support (7) in the desired position, turn the lamp upside down and place it on the ground (or any other stable surface).

9 CARE AND STORAGE
Store the spotlight and charging adapters in a clean and dry area. Be sure to keep the charging adapters supplied with this product stored
separately from similar items as only charging adapters included with this light are compatible.
Using a non-compatible charger could cause damage to the light or personal
injury.
The spotlight may also be stored in a vehicle for use in roadside emergencies.
If kept in a vehicle, it is recommended that the battery be re-charged every 3 month to ensure maximum performance in an emergency.
To prevent the light and any of the accessories from being damaged, please
ensure that it is properly secured and in a safe place inside the vehicle.

10 CLEANING
All exterior surfaces of the spotlight can be wiped clean with a soft cloth
dampened with soapy water.
Do not immerse or submerge any part of your light in water or any other
solvent.
Never use solvents or cleaning agents containing petroleum (petrol, kerosene, oil), paint thinner, turpentine, alcohol, or ammonia. Harsh materials like these can damage surfaces.
11 MAINTENANCE
Only qualified service personnel must perform repairs. Do not open the exterior casing of the Work Light as there are no user
serviceable parts inside.
Opening or visible attempts to open or repair a light may void any guarantee
and/or cause damage to the product or personal injury.
LED bulbs will never wear out under normal conditions and do not need to be
replaced.
The rechargeable battery pack cannot be replaced.
12 WARRANTY
This product is warranted as provided by law for a 12 -month period effective
from the date of purchase by the first user.
This warranty covers all material or production flaws excluding: batteries,
chargers, defective parts subject to normal wear & tear such as bearings, brushes, cables, and plugs, or accessories such as drills, drill bits, saw blades, etc. ; damage or defects resulting from maltreatment, accidents or alterations; nor the cost of transportation.
Damage and/or defects resulting from inappropriate use also do not fall under
the warranty provisions.
We also disclaim all liability for any bodily injury resulting from inappropriate
use of the tool.
Repairs may only be carried out by an authorised customer service centre for
FORD tools.

Any transportation costs shall always be borne by the customer, unless agreed
otherwise in writing.
At the same time, no claim can be made on the warranty if the damage of the
device is the result of negligent maintenance or overload.
Definitely excluded from the warranty is damage resulting from fluid
permeation, excessive dust penetration, intentional damage (on purpose or by gross carelessness), inappropriate usage (use for purposes for which the device is not suitable), incompetent usage (e.g. not following the instructions given in the manual), inexpert assembly, lightning strike, erroneous net voltage. This list is not exhaustive.

Acceptance of claims under warranty can never lead to the prolongation of the
warranty period nor commencement of a new warranty period in case of a device replacement.
Devices or parts which are replaced under the warranty therefore remain the
property of Herculano Santos, Lda.
We reserve the right to reject a claim whenever the purchase cannot be
verified or when it is clear that the product has not been properly maintained. (Clean ventilation slots, carbon brushes serviced regularly, etc.).
Your purchase receipt must be kept as proof of date of purchase. Your appliance must be returned undismantled to your dealer in an acceptably
clean state, (in its original blow-moulded case if applicable to the unit), accompanied by proof of purchase.
13 ENVIRONMENT
Should your appliance need replacement after extended use, do not discard it with the household rubbish but dispose of it in an environmentally safe way. Waste produced by electrical machine items should not be handled like normal household rubbish. Please recycle where recycle facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice.
13.1 Battery pack
This product contains Li-ion. To preserve natural resources, please recycle or dispose of batteries properly. Local, state or federal laws may prohibit disposal of Li-ion batteries in ordinary trash. Consult you local waste authority for information regarding available recycling and/or disposal options.
