Quick Installation Guide

1. Open any web browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, ...)

2. Type http://register.fon.com in the address bar.

3. Then, enter the MAC and PIN CODE numbers found on the device. Follow the steps
on your screen.

1. Connect your Fonera to the internet.

Please note the Fonera is not a stand-alone device, and it must be
connected to your existing modem/router to work.

Plug in your Fonera.

Then, take the orange cable. Connect one end of it to the orange socket on your
Fonera, and connect the other end to your modem.

2. Connect your Fonera to your computer
or laptop.

Select the MyPlace WiFi signal from your network preferences.

Enter the password printed on your Fonera (same as WPA key)

Don’t have WiFi?

Then, take an ethernet cable and connect one end to your Fonera and the
other to your computer or laptop.

3. Configure your Fonera.

Open any browser (e.g. Firefox)

Type: http://fonera in the address bar to access your Fonera.
Alternatively, you can type your Fonera’s IP address (http://192.168.10.1)

Enter the default password: admin.

Now you can view and modify the technical aspects of your Fonera.

1. Ouvrez un navigateur internet (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari...)

2. Dans la barre d’adresse, tapez http://register.fon.com.

3. Puis, saisissez l’adresse MAC et le PIN CODE se trouvant sur la Fonera.
Enfin, veuillez suivre les étapes décrites sur votre écran.

1. Connectez votre Fonera à internet.

Vérifiez que la Fonera est bien connectée à votre modem/box haut débit.

Branchez l’alimentation électrique de la Fonera. En effet, la Fonera ne remplace
pas votre modem/box haut débit.

Par la suite, connectez une extrémité du câble orange fournit à votre Fonera
(prise orange) et l’autre à votre modem.

2. Connectez la Fonera à votre ordinateur..

3. Configurez et enregistrez votre Fonera.

Ouvrez un navegateur internet (Firefox)

Tapez : http://fonera dans la barre d’addresse afin d’accéder à la console de
gestion de la Fonera. Vous pouvez également taper l’adresse IP de votre
Fonera (http://192.168.10.1).

Entrez le mot de passe par défault : admin.
