Model:
Fluke 712B, 714B
Product Name:
712B: RTD Calibrator
714B: Thermocouple Calibrator
The 712B RTD Calibrator simulates RTD signals to a temperature meter or temperature transmitter and measures the output of the temperature transmitter simultaneously. It also measures temperature with an RTD sensor.
The 714B RTD Calibrator simulates TC signals to a temperature meter or temperature transmitter and measures the output of the temperature transmitter. It also measures temperature with a TC sensor.
Memory Description:
Fluke 712B and 714B has 2 memory devices:
1) U40, micro controller, TI MSP430F5436, 192kB Flash, 16kB RAM, contains operating code for the product and calibration constants.
2) U48, EEPROM, MICROCHIP 24AA024, 2Kb ROM, contains the initial parameter of the temperature range which includes the maximum temperature point and minimum temperature point.
Memory Cleaning Instructions:
After the 712B/714B is powered on, the memory will load calibration data. The memory will automatically clear after the 712B/714B is powered off.
