Memory Description:

These products use a customized two-channel infrared/contact thermometer
mixed signal Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC). The ASIC calibration
is stored in on-chip EEPROM memory accessed through a serial programming
interface. This memory is not accessible to the user. Calibration constants for the
unit, stored in the ASIC, are generated when the unit is sent through its
calibration process. These constants are fundamental to the operation of the unit.
Data collected during operation of the unit is lost once the unit returns to its
standby state.

Memory Cleaning Instructions:

Memory is cleared when the unit is powered off.
