Introduction

Thank you for selecting the TA04 Lithium-Polymer Rechargeable Battery kit. The
kit is designed for use with the FLIR DM284 Imaging Multimeter. The TA04 offers
up to 11 hours of constant use in IGM mode and 30 hours in DMM mode.

Safety Instructions

CAUTION: Risk of Fire and Burns. Do Not Open, Crush, Heat Above 176°F (80°C) or
Incinerate. Follow Manufacturer's Instructions.

 Use specified FLIR charger only and re-charge per user manual
 Recycle or dispose of properly

Description

1. Battery cover screws

LED Indications

RED Light: Charging; GREEN Light: Fully charged

Operating Instructions

1. Unscrew the (4) screws located on back of meter and
remove the battery cover.

2. Connect adaptor to the battery and to an AC source; observe LED display.

3. The LED color will display red when the battery is charging.

4. The LED color will change to green when charging is complete.

5. Unplug the adaptor and install the battery into the meter.

6. Replace the (4) screws on the back cover.

Warranty

FLIR Systems, Inc. warrants this device to be free of defects in parts and workmanship for 2 (two) years

from date of shipment providing:

 Device is purchased from FLIR Commercial Systems or an Authorized reseller
 Device is registered online at www.flir.com/test/warranty within 60 days of shipment
 FLIR is notified within 30 days of a defect being found
 FLIR is contacted to obtain a Return Authorization number before returning product
 The sender is responsible for shipping, freight, insurance and proper packaging to prevent damage

This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from action of the user such as misuse, improper wiring,
operation outside of specification, improper maintenance or repair, or unauthorized modification.
