7. Remove 3 ea. 11mm nuts securing reservoir tank.
Install New Flex-a-Fit® Radiator
1. Attach lower bracket to passenger side of radiator with
supplied t-bolts, washers, and nuts. Set base of bracket
flush to bottom of radiator tank. (Fig. 3)
2. Lower radiator assembly into engine compartment
ensuring both bottom posts sit fully within the rubber
bushings of the vehicle radiator support.
3. Remove rubber grommets from factory top radiator
mounting brackets and install into supplied
replacement brackets. (Fig. 4)
4. Attach brackets to radiator and mount with factory
8mm bolts to radiator support.
3
VSC Mounting
1. Locate a mounting point for the VSC near inlet of the
radiator. The control unit needs to place within 2-feet of
radiator inlet for temp. probe placement. On the fender
well next to the radiator may be a convenient place.
2. Attach the control unit with the provided screws.

OTHER DEVICES).

11. Turn A/C o. Let Vehicle warm up to normal operating
temperature. Adjust screw terminal clockwise to increase
turn-on temperature and counter-clockwise to decrease
temperature. NOTE: THE SCREW TERMINAL ONLY
ROTATES 3/4 OF A TURN. IF TURNED BEYOND ITS
LIMITS THE TERMINAL WILL BREAK!
12. Once desired temperature is set, let the engine idle
and make sure the fan cycles to maintain desired
temperature. Make sure the fan is pulling air through

the radiator toward the engine.
13. Top o coolant as necessary. The engine will need to
fully heat and cool several times to purge all air.
6. Attach reservoir tank tube to driver side radiator barb
tting.
7. Reinstall plastic panel around hood latch.
8. Rell radiator with factory approved coolant,
lling from the overow tank to the “ADD COOLANT” line
marked on the tank. Optionally add a bottle of Flex-a-Chill
to protect your new radiator from corrosion.
9. Reattach negative (-) battery cable from battery.
10. Turn ignition on. If the LED farthest from VSC power
wires does not turn on after 6 seconds, check 12V power
going to terminal #9.
10. With engine running, turn A/C on. The fan should be
running and 3 of the LEDs should be lit. If not, verify A/C
clutch is engaged and correct signal wire is triggered.
