2. Introduction
Original instruktion manual
This manual is a translation of the original instruction manual from FKI Fast
Food Teknik of the Sausage Grill GL-series, - in the following mentioned as the grill.
Purpose
The purpose of this manual is to ensure proper installation, use, handling and
maintenance of the grill.
Accessibility
The instruction manual must be kept in a – to the staff – well known place
which is easy to access for electricians and personnel who maintain the grill.
Knowledge
The employer (owner of the grill) is obligated to ensure that people who operates, serve and maintain the contact grill, has read the instruction manual or
as minimum are familiar with the parts which are relevant to their job.
Furthermore, everybody who operate, serve and maintain the grill is obligated
to seek information in this manual.

4. Outline and utilization
4.1. General description
The grill is overall made in stainless steel with rounded edges, for easy cleaning. The contains a cabinet with fully welded steel frying pan , 2 or 3 heat zones with thermostatic control (50-250°C) and can be with fat drawer for collecting residual fryi ng fat.
4.2. The grills purpose and intended use
The grill is designed for cooking and warm holding of sausages of any size.

5. Operation
The grill is divided in 2 or 3 heating zones, right/left and middle or front/back.
They are controlled induvially by a thermostat witch is switched on by turning
the knob clockwise and put it on the desired temperature by the mark on the
front.
During warm up and when the heat element are active the yellow indicator
lamp next to the thermostat will light up.
It is recommended to control the temperature on the heat surface by the use
of a measuring instrument.
The grill is switche of by turning the knobs to zero.
6. Installation and connection
6.1. Installation
The grill is designed to be placed on a table or counter top. The grill has adjustable legs.
6.2. Connection
The grill shall be connected to a 240V power outtake with earth connection.
7. Maintenance and repair
7.1. Cleaning
The grill should be cleaned for residual fat several times during the day. If the grill is with
fat tray just use a scraper to get residual fat to the waste hole where it will run to the collecting drawer. The drawer is emptied and cleaned as needed.
Once a day the grill shall be cleaned carefully on the frying surface and all outer surfaces
wiped with a damp cloth.
Cleaning should not be done before the grill has cooled below 50°C
7.2. Repair
Authorized service personnel with knowledge of electrical appliances should always perform Repairs.

8. Termination
8.1. Destruction
The contact grill is marked with the above recycling symbol (EC directive 2002/96/EC) and
must be disposed in accordance with your country’s order.
This means that when the product becomes obsolete, you should dispose it after the local
municipal ity’s rule, e.g. in unsorted waste stream
