Younger children
& those new to
the Imaginext
System
Use our step-by-step
instructions to build
the structure shown
on the cover of this
booklet. Encourage
your child to assist
you with some of the
simple steps. This
assembly is ideal for
active play and it can
be used as a playset
rather than a
building toy.

Older children and experienced Imaginext
The more your child plays with this toy, and development and skill increases, the less
assistance your child needs! Experienced Imaginext™ users will enjoy using all parts of
this toy to build their own structures or try building an alternate assembly shown below.

For best performance, we recommend replacing the batteries that came with this toy with
three, new alkaline "AAA" (LR03) batteries. We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer
battery life.
• Locate the battery compartment on the upper skull. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom
of the dinosaur.
• Loosen the screw in each battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the
battery compartment door.
• Remove the worn batteries from the dinosaur and dispose of them properly.
• Insert three, "AAA" (LR03) alkaline batteries in each toy, as indicated inside each battery
compartment.
• Replace the battery compartment doors and tighten each screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not overtighten.
• When sounds from this toy become faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to change the batteries!
• Protect the environment by not disposing of this product with household waste (2002/96/EC).
