• Always attach all provided fasteners (strings) tightly to a crib or playpen according to the instructions. Check frequently.
• Do not add additional strings or straps to attach to a crib or playpen.
CAUTION
Note: A plastic tab is attached to the toy for in-store demonstration purposes.
• Open the fasteners on the back of the toy.
• Pull and remove the plastic tab from the toy.Throw the plastic tab away.

Battery Replacement
• Open the fasteners on the back of the toy.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compart­ment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door.
• Insert three,“AAA”(LR03) alkaline batteries,as indicated inside the battery compartment.
Hint:We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriver.Do not over-tighten.
• Close the fasteners on the toy
• When sounds or lights from this toy become faint or stop,it’s time for an adult to change the batteries!
For best performance,we recommend replacing the batteries that came with this toy with three,new alkaline “AAA” (LR03) batteries.

• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline,standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Remove the batteries during long periods of non-use.Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy.Battery leakage and corrosion can damage this toy. Dispose of batteries safely.
• Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode or leak.
• Never short circuit the battery terminals.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended in the “Battery Replacement”instruc tions are to be used.
• If removable rechargeable batteries are used,they are only to be charged under adult supervision.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before they are charged.
• If you use a battery charger,it should be examined regularly for damage to the cord,plug,enclosure and other parts. Do not use a damaged battery charger until it has been properly repaired.

Note: It is better to tie the strings in a knot than a bow,since a bow may be easily untied.

Gentle Music and Lights

• Open the fasteners on the back of the toy. Locate the power/volume switch.
• The switch has three positions:off ; on with low volume and on with high volume .
• Close the fasteners on the back of the toy.
• Pull the star for gentle music and soft lights.
Hint:The toy turns off automatically after a short period of time.Pull the tail again to restart lights and music.
• Slide the power/volume switch to the off position when not in use.
