564 SS FPX Arched Face

Upgrade Kit

Compatibility:

• 564 SS Fireplace with FPX Arched Face

This upgrade kit (98500683) must be installed prior to installing the facing material or face.

Installation

1 Attach the brackets to the fireplace following the directions below.

Packing List:

• Tiling guide (2 pieces - left and right)

• (4) Mounting Brackets (attaches to the fireplace)

• (4) Screws

• (8) 8-32 Keps Nuts

Remove and discard the nuts and bushings above and below the firebox.

Discard the stock bushings and nuts.

Place the upper and lower brackets in place and secure using the nuts included with this kit.

Discard the stock bushings and nuts.

Lower Bracket

Repeat these steps for the opposite side.

2 Attach the tiling guide following the directions below.

Upgrade Kit

Loosen the nuts on the upper

brackets three turns (both sides).

Re-tighten the nuts on the brackets

(typically you only need to tighten the lower nuts and hand-tighten upper nuts).

Use the four included screws to secure

the tiling guides to the fireplace frame.

Slide both tiling guides into place. NOTE: the tiling guide has slots that slide between the brackets and the fireplace.
