THE TRAPPER
Thanks for purchasing The Trapper – a radical new dual fuzz pedal. The Trapper features two distinctly different voices that can be toggled used the Select Footswitch. The first voice features dedicated Fuzz and Level controls, as well as a high-octave toggle switch. The second fuzz relies mainly on the guitar’s volume and tone controls for modification, with Level as the only parameter. This circuit also employs a noise gate for some truly distinctive “glitchy” sounds.
DESIGNED IN CALIFORNIA, U.S.A.
Contour
Controls frequency range emphasis. Turn knob counterclockwise for bass boost/treble cut; turn clockwise for opposite. At middle position, mid frequencies are de-emphasized.
Tone
Controls amount of high-frequency signal content. Turn counterclockwise for darker sound; turn clockwise to brighten sound.
Level 1
Controls output level of rst fuzz circuit.
Level 1 LED
Illuminates when rst fuzz circuit is selected.
Level 2
Controls output level of second fuzz circuit.
Fuzz 2
Controls amount of fuzz in second circuit; turn clockwise for greater saturation.
Octave Switch
Adds a high octave to signal.
Jewel Indicator
Illuminates when eect is engaged.
Bypass Footswitch
Bypasses eect.
Select Footswitch
Toggles between both fuzz circuits.
Input Jack
High-impedance input suitable for electric guitar, bass, acoustic guitars with pickup systems, keyboards and other instruments.
Output Jack
Low-impedance output jack connects to amp or to next eect pedal in signal chain.
DC Power Connector
Standard center-negative 9VDC jack for use with appropriate power supplies.
LED Kill Switch
Deactivates control-knob illumination.
