Readthismanualcarefullyandfollowtheinstructionsbefore
usingthemixer.Keepthemanualforfuturereferenceandfor
tryingoutnewwaysofusingthesystem.Keepthepackingtoo:as
wellasensuringthattheequipmentremainsingoodcondition,itis
alsoanimportantfactorwhentheunitisvaluedforsaleonthe
second-handmarket.

Avoidinstallingthemixernearsourcesofexcessiveheat,
exposingittodirectsunlightorleavingitunprotectedindusty
surroundings.
>
Makecertainthatthemainspowervoltageisnothigherthanthat
shownontherearpanel.
>
Neverusetheunitifthepowercableorplugarenotinperfect
condition(ifnecessary,havethemreplacedorcarefullyrepaired).
>
Topreventcausinginterferenceonthemixer,avoidinstallingthe
mixernearpowertransformers,televisionsets,radiotransmitters
andelectricmotors,orlightingdimmersandthecables
connectingthemtoluminaires.
>
Avoidpointingmicrophonesinthedirectionoftheloudspeaker
enclosures:thiscancauseannoyingfeedback,whichcouldalso
damagethespeakers.
>
Whenconnectingvariousunitstogether(mixers,power
amplifiersandelectronicinstruments),noisesandhumcouldbe
caused.Thesearenormallyduetoearthloops,andcanbesolved
bybreakingtheloops,creatinga"star"earthset-up,i.e.withallthe
units'earthsconnectedtoasinglereferencepoint.
>
Toavoidregrettablecostlyproblems,onlyuseoriginalconnector
cables.
>
Neverconnectanoutputchanneltoanotherinputchannelonthe
mixer.Beforeconnectinganything,readtheinstructionsinthis
manual.
>
Neverconnectanyaudioconnectorofthemixertoanysourceof
electricalpower.
>
Donotusesolventssuchasacetoneoralcoholtocleanthe
mixer,astheywoulddamageitsfinishandthewritingonits
panels.
