OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Connector Maintenance:
A daily, weekly and periodic inspection of the conne
person is recommended. User must establish a regular interval for maintenance as determined by the user media and operational environment.
Difficulty of operation after continual use indicates

Use only original FasTest spare parts that are designed for the
application and are subject to strict quality control. See Warranty.
Safety Warnings – Guidelines:
If instructions are not completely understood by operator or components
are missing, contact FasTest before attempting use of the connector.
FasTest Connectors are not internally valved, and will not prevent loss of
media when disconnected. Do not attempt to disconnect unless safe conditions are met.
FasTest Connectors must only be used with test pieces of a specific size
as indicated by the part number. Improper use could cause separation of the connector from the test piece resulting in physical harm or damage.

This warranty is void if the product is misused, tampered with or used in a manner that is not in accordance with FasTest, Inc. recommendations and/or instructions. CalMate Connectors provide a reliable leak-tight connection

t insert ferrule fitting and twist sleeve until tight.
Please thoroughly read and understand these operating instructions prior to operating the connector. The use of pressurized media for sealing and testing requires a thorough understanding of the FasTest CalMate Operating Instructions.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Installation:
Connect securely to the 1/8” NPT termination port of
the connector.
Operation:
Connecting Action:
1. Move the sleeve back to disengage the connector. Holding the wrench flat end of the connector push the connector onto the test piece and gasket.

2. Slide sleeve completely forward.

3. Rotate the sleeve clockwise until hand tight for locking engagement. (NOTE: NOTICE LOCATION OF SCREW HEAD) The connector will be properly engaged when gripping balls are tight against the back side face of test piece.

AUTION: The maximum rated pressure is stamped on the connector sleeve. Before using, verify that this pressure rating is within your working pressures.
WARNING: Tug on the connector to assure proper engagement and
gripping before introduction of pressurized media.
DO NOT force connector onto test part when connecting. The insertion
into the part and the forward motion of the sleeve should easily mate with the test piece. Forcing the connector will result in poor sealing and possible leakage.
DO NOT turn or rotate connector after the engagement to test piece.
Damage to the test part and the connector’s internal parts may result.
4. Activate test media through connector test port.
Disconnecting Action:
. Deactivate test pressure.

2. Rotate sleeve counter-clockwise about ¼ turn, then pull the sleeve all the way back. Separate connector from test piece and gasket.
