Installation Considerations

This rough is required for installation of Axor Massaud tub spout 18473001.

It can be installed with the inlet port facing upward or facing downward.

The rough incorporates screwing-in flanges, so that it may be fastened to a header board, if
desired, for additional support.

The inlet port is 3/4” NPT.

Installation

Install the rough so that the outside surface of the finished
wall will fall between the “min” and “max” markings on
the plaster shield.

Before installing the finished wall surface (tile, etc.) seal
the wall around the plaster shield with waterproof sealant.
