Ferrite Bead Kit • Installation Guide

Ferrite Bead

After installation, the Extron® DFX 100 and HFX 100 series extenders should provide clear video output signals. If there are problems with EMIinterference, place the provided ferrite bead around the cable of the receiver (DFX 100 Rx or HFX 100 Rx) by following these instructions:

1. If necessary, release the catch on the

ferrite bead and open it.

2. Place the bead around the video

output cable. It should be positioned

2.0 inches (5.1 cm) from the rear panel of the receiver.

3. Close the bead. When the catch

closes, the bead clamps securely around the cable.
