Capture images and videos (with date/time stamp) on the SD card and view them on the supplied Monitor, an alternate monitor (video out jack), or a PC (USB connection). This device is ideal for home inspections (mold, insect infestation, electrical wire or water pipe location), HVAC (inspect ducts, behind motors and compressors), and automotive applications (view inside and around engines and transmissions). Preparation for use
Camera controller power
Insert the four (4) ‘AA’ batteries (supplied) into the battery carrier located in the camera controller’s handle as illustrated in accompanying diagrams. Observe correct polarity when
installing batteries.
Never dispose of used batteries or rechargeable batteries in household waste. As consumers, users are legally required to take used batteries to appropriate collection sites, the retail store where the batteries were purchased, or wherever batteries are sold.
Disposal: Do not dispose of this instrument in household waste. The user is obligated to take end-of-life devices to a designated collection point for the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment.
Monitor power
The monitor uses a rechargeable battery. To charge the battery, plug the supplied AC adaptor into an AC power source and then connect the other end of the adaptor cable to the power jack on the monitor. The battery capacity icon on the monitor screen and the red LED power indicator on the side of the monitor will blink while the battery is charging.
Connect the flexible cable to the camera controller
Align the flexible cable with the camera controller, noting the keyed pairing; and then tighten the knurled collar to hold the connection firmly in place.
Warning: Damage to the flexible cable can occur if it is forcibly bent into too narrow a radius.
