STEP 1 STEP 2
Flip the blade tension lever
forward (position 1), then
loosen the thumbscrews A
and B on the upper and
lower blade mounts and
remove the blade.

BLADE GUARD

Loosen and remove the 4
flat head screws and flange
nuts that secure the table to
the saw, and remove the
table.
STEP 3 STEP 4
Using a 9/64” diameter bit,
drill out the 2 mounting
holes in the main body.
Place the lower guard onto
the main body with the
center of the holes 1/4”
(approx.) from the end of
the main body, then mark
the hole placement.
STEP 5 STEP 6
Loosen the thumbscrew A
and remove the workpiece
hold down B.
STEP 7 STEP 8
Using a 9/64” diameter bit,
drill out the 2 mounting
holes in the hold down
forks.
Place the upper guard onto
the hold down with the center of the holes 1/4” (approx.) from the end of the
forks, then mark the hole
placement.
STEP 9 STEP 10
Attach the upper guard to
the hold down using the
supplied short self-tapping
screws.
Fit the table in place, attaching the fasteners loosely
to allow adjustments to center the blade with the hole
in the table.
STEP 12
Check for blade clearance,
A, with the table at 90º, and
tilted at 45º left and right,
adjust table position as
needed, then firmly tighten
all fasteners.

Attach the lower blade
guard to the main body
using the supplied 3/8”
long self-tapping screws
with sprocket washers, washers under the guard.

Re-install the hold down A,
then re-install and tension
the blade B.
Note: If needed, manually
adjust the height of the lower
guard Cso the lower arm
doesn’t hit it when raising
during operation.
