legs by unlatching the lock and pulling each of the legs
out.
2. Lock the legs into place.
3. Spread the legs out making sure that they are on a
stable, fl at surface.
4. Attach the main body to the main body connecting
screw by aligning the threaded hole with the screw.
5. Tighten the knob on the underside of the attaching
bracket.
6. Unscrew and remove the two bolts on the top of the
telescope. Place the Finder Scope over the screws.
Align it properly and tighten. (Note: Make sure that the
Finder Scope is pointed forward as shown above.)
7. Install one of the two eyepieces into the focus tube and
secure it in place by tightening the screw.

8. For easy viewing, install the Diagonal Viewer into
the Focus Tube.
9. Insert one of the lenses into the Diagonal Viewer
and tighten it. (Note: Make sure the end of the
Diagonal Viewer without the screw is
inserted into the Focus Tube of the telescope.)
Installing the Erector
2. Insert 1.5x Erector Lens between the eyepiece
and the telescope.
3. Attach the Diagonal Viewer back onto the telescope
as explained in Step 8 or Assembling Your Telescope.

CARE & HANDLING
• Store in a cool, dry place.
• Store both eyepieces lenses in the supplied plastic
containers when not in use.
• Clean the lenses when ditry or smudged. Use with lens
paper to prevent damage or scratches.
• Do not submerge in water or other liquids.
• Do not expose to high temperatures, humidity or
direct sunlight.
• Do not expose to dust, smoke or steam.
• Do not allow small particles into the Focus Tube.
• Do not place on unstable surfaces or surfaces which
are prone to vibration.
• Do not throw, drop, bump, smash or otherwise subject
the unit to physical shock.
EXCALIBUR ELECTRONICS, INC., warrants to
the original consumer that its products are free from
any electrical or mechanical defects for a period of 90
DAYS from the date of purchase. If any such defect is
discovered within the warranty period, EXCALIBUR
ELECTRONICS, INC., will repair or replace the unit
free of charge upon receipt of the unit, shipped postage
prepaid and insured to the factory address below.
The warranty covers normal consumer use and does not
cover damage that occurs in shipment or failure that
results from alterations, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect,
wear and tear, inadequate maintenance, commercial use,
or unreasonable use of the unit. This warranty does not
cover cost of repairs made or attempted outside of the
factory.
Any applicable implied warranties, including warranties
of merchantability and fi tness, are hereby limited to
90 DAYS from the date of purchase. Consequential
or incidental damages resulting from a breach of any
applicable express or implied warranties are hereby
excluded. Some states do not allow limitations on the
duration of LIMITED 90-DAY WARRANTY implied
warranties and do not allow exclusion of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitations and
exclusions in these instances may not apply. The only

Ship the unit carefully packed, preferably in the original
carton, and send it prepaid, and adequately insured.
Include a letter, detailing the complaint and including
your daytime telephone number, inside the shipping
carton. If your warranty has expired and you want an
estimated fee for service, write to the above address,
specifying the model and the problem.
