The ECOR HD 16X1 DVR has 16 video inputs which are all compatible with both HD (EverFocus
eZ.HD series camera) and SD cameras*; however, the 16 video inputs are divided into 8 pairs
as the figure below. Therefore, when connecting HD and SD cameras to the DVR, you should
connect either type of the above cameras to the SAME pair video inputs.
* The eZ.HD series DVR doesn’t support HD-TVI / HD-CVI cameras.
Example
1. If you have two HD cameras and two SD cameras, you should connect the two HD
cameras to one pair of the video inputs and plug the two SD cameras to another pair of
the video inputs (see Figure 1).
2. If you connect an HD and a SD camera to the same pair of the video inputs, it will only
display HD camera live view on the screen. As for the SD camera channel, it will just pop
up status icons to indicate you that it’s not an eZ.HD (HD) camera so you need to re-plug
the SD camera to a new pair of video inputs or to the pair of video inputs with the other
SD camera already connected. (see Figure 2).
