The US version plays AM (520-1710 KHz), FM (87.5-108
MHz) and Shortwave (5.8-21.8 MHz).
The European version plays AM (531-1611 KHz), FM (87.5­108 MHz) and Shortwave (5.8-21.8 MHz).
For best results read the instructions below.

VOLUME CONTROL

Turning the Volume Adjusting Knob (located on the lower
left) clockwise turns up the volume; counterclockwise turns
down the volume. Always turn down the volume before using
earphones.

TURNING THE FR360 ON/OFF

The FR360 is powered with 3 AAA batteries, the Dynamo
and Solar cell (DYN/SOL) and the AC adapter (not included).
To turn the radio on, select DYN/SOL or BATT (upper right,
next to the LCD) and then press POWER.

Note: the radio can be played while it’s charging.

BATTERY POWER

Install 3 AAA batteries and set the power selector switch to
the BATT position.

SOLAR POWER

When you’re in direct sunlight set the power switch to the
DYN/SOLAR position. This position also recharges the Ni-MH
rechargeable battery.

DYNAMO POWER

The rechargeable Ni-MH (nickel-metal-hydride) battery is in
the battery compartment. To use it plug the battery into the
socket adjacent to it, then set the power switch to the DYN/
SOL position. You may have to charge the battery; to do this
turn the crank for 90 seconds. The rechargeable battery
will eventually lose its ability to hold a charge. Contact Etón
Corporation to order another one.

DC-IN 6V AC ADAPTER (not included)

This is the rst socket to the left on the back of the radio,
under the rubber plugs. Plug in the AC adapter (not included)
to the DC IN 6 Volt, positive polarity, 300mA socket. This also
charges the Ni-MH battery. In the United States, an AC adapter
can be purchased by calling 1-800-872-2228, 8 am - 4:30 pm,
Pacic Time. In Europe, see your retailer.

ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS REGARDING
CHARGING

• How much operating time does 90 seconds of hand

cranking provide for the radio to play? About 15 minutes.

• How long does it take to fully charge the radio’s battery

with the AC adapter? About 6 hours.

• How long does it take to fully charge the radio’s battery

with the solar panel? About 8-10 hrs in direct sunlight.

• How long will the radio play when fully charged? About 5

hrs at low volume.

CHARGING CELL PHONES

Press the button labeled CELL. Plug the USB cell phone charging
cord into the USB PHONE CHARGER jack, the second socket from
the left at the rear of the radio. Plug the other end of the cord into
the cell phone charging tip and then into the jack of the cell phone.
About 3 minutes of cranking results in one short emergency call.
To purchase a charging tip and cord for your cell phone, go to
www.iGo.com and purchase USB cord part# PS00271-0001.

NOTE: When charging a cell phone via the USB cell phone
charger, it is important to turn the crank at least 2 revolutions
per second, or until you see the green or orange LED above
the crank handle turn on. This is an indication that the phone
is receiving enough power from the radio. Continue to crank
at this rate until you are satised that an appropriate level
of charge has been received by your cell phone. If you decide
to stop cranking for whatever reason, please wait at least 5
seconds before beginning to crank again. Not following these
instructions may cause damage to your cell phone for which
Etón Corporation disclaims any liability and will not be held
liable for any actual or consequential damages related to this

matter.

THE LIGHT ABOVE THE CRANK

A red light means radio is on. A green light means that there
is sufcient crank speed to enable a charge.

LCD BACKLIGHT

Press the DISP button to turn on the backlight for the LCD
and the buttons above the LCD. It automatically shuts off
after about 5 seconds.

SELECTING BANDS AND TUNING IN STATIONS

The US version plays AM (520-1710 KHz), FM (87.5-108
MHz) and Shortwave (5.8-21.8 MHz).
The European version plays AM (531-1611 KHz), FM (87.5­108 MHz) and Shortwave (5.8-21.8 MHz).

Turn the radio on. Select AM, FM or SW1/SW2 with the knob
above the TUNE button (right side of the radio).

When listening to FM pull up the telescopic antenna all the
way. When tuning AM stations the telescopic antenna is not
needed and can be lowered. Tune in stations by revolving the
TUNE knob (right side of the radio).

Alternatively, you can use the automatic scan:
Start the scan using DOWN – or – UP key.
The scanning stops automatically when receiving worthy
channel.

SHORTWAVE LISTENING

Shortwave enables listening to broadcasts over vast
distances including other countries and continents.
The following information will help you get the best results.

• During the day, frequencies above 13 MHz are usually best.

• At night, frequencies below 13 MHz are usually best.

• Around sunset and sunrise, the entire shortwave range may

be good. Getting very close to a window and holding the
radio improves shortwave reception.

To learn about shortwave we recommend the two
publications below, published yearly and available from major

booksellers. Additionally, the Internet is a great resource for
learning about shortwave.

SETTING THE TIME AND ALARM

The clock is a 12/24-hour clock, as a 12-hour clock showing
PM in the display starting at Noon.

To change from 12 to 24 hour time or vice versa:

1. With the radio turned off, do three short presses of the

SET button.

2. 12 or 24 appears in the display.

3. Press the MIN/UP or HOUR/DOWN buttons to change it.

4. Press SET to nalize it.

To set the time:

1. With the radio turned off, do a short press on the SET

button.

2. While the hour ashes press the HR/UP or MIN/DOWN

button to set the hour.

3. Press SET again.

4. While the minute ashes press the HR/UP or MIN/DOWN

button to set the minutes.

5. Press SET to nalize

To set the alarm:

1. With the radio turned off, press the ALARM button and

then the SET button.

2. ALARM appears on the left of the LCD and the hour

ashes.

3. Press HR/UP or MIN/DOWN button to set the alarm hour.

4. Press SET again.

5. While the minute ashes press the HR/UP or MIN/DOWN

button to set the alarm minutes.

6. Press SET to nalize.

TURNING THE ALARM ON AND OFF

With the radio on or off press the ALARM ON/OFF button.
Notice that when it’s on, ALARM appears in left of the LCD.

SLEEP FEATURE

The sleep timer can be activated with the radio turned on or
off. Activating the sleep timer enables the radio to play for
90, 60, 30 and 10 minutes, then shut off automatically.
To activate it press the SLEEP button (in the upper right,
above the display) until the minutes you want it to play
appear, then stop pressing. SLEEP appears to the left in the
display and the radio plays for the selected minutes, then
stops.

EARPHONE JACK

Located on the back of the radio, the third socket from the
left. Plug in any stereo earphones. Audio is heard in mono
only. Always turn down the volume when plugging in
earphone/headphones, then turn it up.

AUDIO-IN JACK

Located on the back of the radio, the fourth socket from the
left, it enables you to listen to other devices, such as an iPod,
using a stereo 3.5 mm (1/8 inch) cord to connected to it.

Pour de meilleures réceptions, lisez les instructions ci-dessous.

COMMANDE DU VOLUME

En tournant la molette de réglage du volume (situé en bas à
gauche) dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre, on augmente
le volume, en sens inverse on le diminue. Il faut toujours
baisser le volume avant d’utiliser des écouteurs.

ALLUMER/ETEINDRE LE FR360

Le FR360 est alimenté par 3 piles AAA, la Dynamo et la
cellule solaire (DYN/SOL) et l’adaptateur courant alternatif
(non fourni).
Éclairez la radio, sélectionnez DYN/SOL ou BATT (en haut à
droite, près de l’écran) et puis appuyez sur POWER.

NOTE: la radio peut être utilisée pendant le chargement.

ALIMENTATION PAR PILES

Installez 3 piles AAA et placez le sélecteur d’alimentation sur
la position BATT.

ÉNERGIE SOLAIRE

Lorsque vous êtes sous la lumière directe du soleil, mettez
l’interrupteur d’alimentation sur la position DYN/SOLAR. Cette
position recharge également la batterie recheargeable au Ni-MH.

ALIMENTATION PAR DYNAMO

La batterie rechargeable Ni-MH (nickel-métal-hydrure) est
dans le compartiment à batterie. Pour l’utiliser branchez-la
à la prise associée, puis réglez l’interrupteur d’alimentation
sur la position DYN/SOL. Vous devez charger la batterie; pour
cela tournez la manivelle pendant 90 secondes. La batterie

rechargeable va éventuellement perdre sa capacité à tenir la

ADAPTATEUR SECTEUR EN 6 VOLTS CONTINU

(non inclus)

C’est la première prise sur la gauche à l’arrière de la radio,
sous les prises en caoutchouc. Branchez l’adaptateur secteur
(non inclus) à la prise d’entrée DC IN 6 Volt, polarité positive,
300mA. Cela charge également la batterie au Ni-MH. Aux
Etats-Unis, un adaptateur secteur peut être acheté en
appelant le 1-800-872-2228, de 8h à 16h30, Fuseau horaire
du Pacique. Pour l’Europe, consultez votre détaillant.

REPONSES AUX QUESTIONS CONCERNANT LE
RECHARGEMENT

• Quelle est la durée de fonctionnement de la radio qui est

assurée après actionnement de la manivelle pendant 90
secondes? Environ 15 minutes.

• Combien de temps est-il nécessaire pour recharger

complètement la batterie de la radio avec l’adaptateur
secteur? Environ 6 heures.

• Combien de temps est-il nécessaire pour recharger

CHARGEMENT DES TÉLÉPHONES PORTABLES

Appuyez sur le bouton étiqueté CELL. Branchez le cordon de
chargement de téléphone portable USB dans la prise USB
PHONE CHARGER, la seconde prise à partir de la gauche à
l’arrière de la radio. Branchez l’autre extrémité du cordon dans
l’embout de charge de téléphone portable et puis dans la
prise du téléphone portable. Le fait de tourner la manivelle
pendant environ 3 minutes va permettre un appel d’urgence.

REMARQUE: Lors du rechargement d’un téléphone portable

via le chargeur de téléphone portable USB, il est important
de tourner la manivelle au moins de 2 tours par seconde, ou
jusqu’à ce que un voyant vert ou orange s’éclaire au dessus
de la manivelle. C’est une indication que le téléphone reçoit
assez de puissance venant de la radio. Continuez à tourner
la manivelle à ce rythme jusqu’à ce que vous pensiez qu’un
niveau de charge satisfaisant a été reçu par votre téléphone
portable. Si vous décidez d’arrêter de tourner la manivelle
pour quelque raison que ce soit, veuillez attendre au moins
5 secondes avant de recommencer à tourner la manivelle.
Ne pas suivre ces instructions peut causer des dommages
à votre téléphone portable pour lesquels Etón Corporation
se dégage de toute responsabilité et ne sera pas tenu

LA LUMIERE AU DESSUS DE LA MANIVELLE

Une lumière rouge signie que la radio est en marche. Une
lumière verte signie que la vitesse de la manivelle est
sufsante pour permettre le rechargement.

RETRO-ECLAIRAGE LCD

Appuyez sur le bouton DISP pour allumer le rétroéclairage
pour le LCD et pour les boutons au-dessus du LCD. Il s’éteint
automatiquement après environ 5 secondes.

Lors de l’écoute de la FM,, dépliez entièrement l’antenne
télescopique. Lors de l’écoute de stations AM, l’antenne
télescopique n’est pas nécessaire et elle peut être rabaissée.
Syntonisez les stations en tournant la molette TUNE (côté

droit de la radio).

REGLAGE DE L’HEURE ET DE L’ALARME

L’horloge est une horloge 12/24-heures, et comme une
horloge 12 heures PM s’afche à partir de midi.

Pour changer le format horaire de 12 à 24 ou vice versa:

1. Avec la radio éteinte, appuyez brièvement trois fois sur le

bouton SET.

2. 12 ou 24 s’afche.

3. Appuyez sur les boutons MIN/UP ou HOUR/DOWN pour

modier l’heure.

4. Appuyez sur SET pour terminer.

Pour régler l’heure:

1. Avec la radio éteinte, appuyez brièvement trois fois sur le

MISE EN MARCHE/ARRET DE L’ALARME

La radio en marche ou arrêtée, appuyez sur le bouton ALARM
ON/OFF. Remarquez que quand elle est en marche, ALARM
apparaît à gauche sur l’afchage LCD.

FONCTIONNALITE SOMMEIL

La minuterie de sommeil peut être activée avec la radio en
marche ou éteinte. L’activation de la minuterie de sommeil
permet à la radio de marcher pendant 90, 60, 30 et 10
minutes, puis elle s’éteint automatiquement.
Pour l’activer, appuyez sur le bouton SLEEP (à droite en haut,
au dessus de l’afchage) jusqu’à ce que les minutes de durée
de fonctionnement que vous souhaitez apparaissent, puis
cessez d’appuyer. SLEEP apparaît à gauche sur l’afchage et
la radio fonctionne durant les minutes sélectionnées, puis
s’arrête.

PRISE ECOUTEURS

Située à l’arrière de la radio, c’est la troisième prise en partant
de la gauche. Branchez n’importe quels écouteurs stéréo.
L’audio est uniquement en mono. Baissez toujours le volume
lors du branchement d’écouteurs/oreillettes, puis augmentez le.

PRISE AUDIO-IN

Située à l’arrière de la radio, c’est la quatrième prise en
partant de la gauche, elle vous permet d’écouter d’autres
appareils, tels qu’un iPod, en utilisant un cordon stéréo de 3.5
mm (1/8 pouces) qui se connecte à elle.

CONTROL DE VOLÙMEN

Girando la Perilla de ajuste del volumen (ubicada en la parte
inferior izquierda) en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj se
sube el volumen; en sentido contrario de baja el volumen.
Siempre antes de usar audífonos primero baje el volumen.

COMO ENCENDER/APAGAR EL FR360

El FR360 es alimentado por 3 baterías AAA, la dínamo y
celda solar (DYN/SOL) y un adaptador AC (no incluido).
Para encender la radio, seleccione DYN/SOL o BATT (parte
superior derecha, al lado del LCD) y luego presione POWER.

NOTA: el radio puede funcionar mientras se está cargando.

CARGA DE TELÉFONOS MÓVILES

Presione el botón con la etiqueta CELL. Conecte el cable de

ESCUCHA DE ONDA CORTA

La onda corta permite la escucha de emisiones a distancias
enormes, incluso de otros países y continentes. La
información siguiente le ayudará a conseguir los mejores

• Durante el día, las frecuencias por encima de 13 MHz son,

COMO AJUSTAR LA HORA Y LA ALARMA

LAUTSTÄRKEREGELUNG

Das Drehen des Lautstärkereglers (bendet sich unten links) im
Uhrzeigersinn erhöht die Lautstärke, gegen den Uhrzeigersinn
vermindert sich die Lautstärke. Die Lautstärke immer verringern
bevor Sie Kopfhörer verwenden.

DYNAMO STROMVERSORGUNG

Der wiederauadbare Ni-MH (Nickel-Metallhydrid) Akku bendet
sich im Batteriefach. Den Akku in den dafür passenden Sockel
einsetzen, und den Netzwahlschalter auf DYN/Sol stellen. Akku
eventuell zuerst auaden; die Handkurbel dafür 90 Sekunden
lang drehen. Der Akku verliert mit der Zeit seine Ladefähigkeit.
Bei Etón Corp. dann einen neuen Akku telefonisch bestellen.

DC-IN 6V AC NETZADAPTER (nicht mitgeliefert)

Dies ist die erste Buchse links auf der Rückseite des
Radiogerätes – unter den Gummistopfen. Den AC Netzadapter
(nicht mitgeliefert) in die DC IN 6 Volt, Pluspolarität,
300mA Buchse einstecken. Dies lädt gleichzeitig die Ni-MH
Akkubatterie auf. In den Vereinigten Staaten kann ein AC
Netzadapter unter der Telefonnummer 1-800-872-2228,
8 - 16:30 Uhr, Pazikküste Ortszeit, bestellt werden. In Europa
bitte ihren Vertragshändler aufsuchen.

FAQ FÜR FRAGEN ÜBER DAS WIEDERAUFLADEN

• Wie lange kann das Radio laufen, wenn man 90 Sekunden mit

HANDYS AUFLADEN

Die Taste CELL drücken. Das USB Handyladekabel in die USB
Handyladebuchse (PHONE CHARGER) einstecken, das ist die
zweite Buchse links auf der Rückseite des Radios. Das andere
Ende des Kabels mit der Ladevorrichtung am Handy verbinden
und danach in die Buchse des Handys einstecken. Etwa 3
Minuten Drehen mit der Handkurbel ergibt die Zeit für einen
kurzen Notruf. Um eine Ladevorrichtung und –Kabel für ihr
Handy zu erwerben, auf die Webseite www.iGo.com klicken und
ein USB-Kabel mit der Teile-Nr. # PS00271-0001 kaufen.

HINWEIS: Beim Laden eines Handys über USB bitte darauf
achten, dass die Handkurbel nicht schneller als 2 Leerzeichen
entfernen Umdrehungen pro Sekunde gedreht wird oder bis
die grüne oder orange LED über der Handkurbel leuchtet. Dies
zeigt an, dass das Mobiltelefon vom Radio genügend mit Strom
versorgt wird. Setzen Sie die Umdrehungsgeschwindigkeit in
diesem Tempo fort, bis Ihr Handy angemessen aufgeladen ist.

LICHT ÜBER DER HANDKURBEL

LCD HINTERGRUNDBELEUCHTUNG

Die DISP Taste drücken, um die Hintergrundbeleuchtung für
das LCD und die Tasten darüber einzuschalten. Sie schaltet sich
nach etwa 5 Sekunden automatisch ab.

WELLENBEREICHSAUSWAHI UND SENDER
EINSTELLEN

Die US Ausgabe empfängt auf den Bereichen MW(520-1710

• Tagsüber sind Frequenzen über 13 MHz die besten.

• Nachts sind Frequenzen unter 13 MHz meistens am besten.

• Bei Sonnenauf- und Untergang ist der gesamte Kurzwellenbereich gut.

2. ALARM wird links auf dem LCD Anzeige angezeigt und die

3. Mit der HR/UP oder MIN/DOWN Taste die Weckzeit einstellen.

4. Erneut SET drücken.

5. Während die Minutenanzeige blinkt, die HR/UP oder die MIN/

DOWN Taste für die Minuten drücken.

6. Mit SET abschließen.

WECKZEIT EIN - UND AUSSTELLEN

Bei ein-oder ausgeschaltetem Radio die ALARM ON/OFF Taste
drücken. Achten Sie darauf, dass ALARM auf der LCD Anzeige
erscheint.

SLEEP FUNKTION

Der Sleeptimer kann bei einfügen ein an- oder ausgeschaltetem
Radio aktiviert werden. Mit eingeschaltetem Sleeptimer kann
das Radio 90, 60, 30 oder 10 Minuten lang wiedergeben und
sich danach automatisch abschalten.
Um die Funktion zu aktivieren, die SLEEP Taste solange (oben
rechts, über der Anzeige) drücken, bis die gewünschte
Minutendauer für die Wiedergabe angezeigt wird. SLEEP
erscheint links auf der Anzeige und das Radio läuft für die
Dauer der eingestellten Minuten und schaltet dann ab.

KOPFHÖRERANSCHLUSS

Bendet sich auf der Rückseite des Radios und ist die dritte
Buchse von links. Stereokopfhörer einstecken. Die Wiedergabe
erfolgt in Mono. Zuerst immer die Lautstärke herunterdrehen,
bevor die Kopfhörer eingesteckt werden.

AUDIO-IN BUCHSE

Auf der Rückseite des Radios ist es die vierte Buchse von links,
mit der Sie andere Audiogeräte, wie z.B. einen iPod, mit einem
3,5 mm (1/8 Zoll) Klinkenkabel anschließen können.

CONTROLLO VOLUME

Sistemare il volume utilizzando la manopola apposita (posizionata
in basso a sinistra); girare in senso antiorario per regolare.

ACCENDERE E SPEGNERE IL RICEVITORE FR360

Il ricevitore FR360 funziona con 3 batterie AAA, il caricatore
solare (DYN/SOL) e l’adattatore AC (non incluso nella confezione).
Per accendere la radio, selezionare DYN/SOL o BATT (in alto a
dest ra, vicino al lo schermo) e i nne premere P OWER.

IMPORTANTE: la radio funziona anche mentre si sta

ricaricando.

BATTERIE

Inserire nell’apposito vano 3 batterie AAA e impostare la
manopola su BATT.

RICARICA SOLARE

Se si è esposti alla luce diretta del sole , impostare
l’apparecchio sulla posizione DYN/SOLAR . In questo modo
la batteria ricaricabile si ricar icherà automaticamente.

RICARICA MANUALE

La batteria ricaricabile di tipo Ni-MH (nichel-metallo-idruro)
batteria è posizionata nel vano batteria. Per utilizzare la
batte ria, inseri re la batteria n ella spina di a nco quindi sis temare

l’interruttore di accensione in posizione DYN/SOL. Potrebbe
essere n ecessari o caricare la ba tteria e per fa rlo è necessa rio
girare la manovella per 90 secondi. A lungo andare la batteria
ricaricabile potrà perdere la sua efcacia ed Etón Corporation
invita ad acquistarne un’altra nel caso in cui accada una cosa
del gen ere.

ADATTATORE DC-IN 6V AC (non incluso)

Si tratta della prima presa di corrente posizionata sulla
parte a sinistra sul retro della radio, sotto le altre prese.
Basta cllegare l’adattatore AC (non incluso) nella presa
DC IN 6 Volt, su polarità positiva e in una presa di corrente
di tipo 300 mA. Lo stesso funzionamento è previsto per
la batteria Ni-MH. Negli Stati Uniti, un adattatore AC può
essere acquistato chiamando il numero 1-800-872-2228,
dalle 8 alle 16:30, ora del Pacico. In Europa, è necessario
consultare i rivenditore autorizzati.

RISPOSTE ALLE DOMANDE RELATIVE ALLA
RICARICA

• Quanto tempo d’uso dell’apparecchio è previsto se si

ricarica manualmente la radio? Circa 15 minuti.

• Quanto tempo ci vuole per ricaricare l ’apparecchio tramite

l’adat tatore AC? Circa 6 ore

• Quanto tempo impiega l’apparecchio a ricaricarsi con la

luce solare? Circa 8-10 ore se esposto a luce diret ta.

• Quanto tempo posso utilizzare la radio quando è

completamente carica? Circa 5 ore.

RICARICARE IL CELLULARE

Premere il tasto CELL. Inserire il caricatore Usb del telefono
all’interno del jack USB apposito, posizionato sulla parte
posteriore della radio nel secondo alloggiamento a sinistra.
Inserire l’altra parte della spina all’interno dell’apposita
presa sul cellulare e poi dentro la presa restante.
Ricaricando 3 minuti si ha la possibilità di effettuare delle
brevi chiamate di emergenza. Per acquistare il kit di ricarica

NOTA: Quando si ricarica un telefono cellulare tramite un

caricatore USB, è importante che la manovella giri al ritmo di
due giri al secondo o comunque no a quando il LED verde
o arancione sopra la manovella non si accende del tutto. E’
questo infatti l’indicatore relativo al fatto che il telefono sta
ricevendo carica dalla radio. Continuare a girare la manovella
no a quando non si è completamente soddisfatti del livello
di carica raggiunto. Se si decide di interrompere la ricarica per
qualunque motivo, si prega di attendere almeno 5 secondi
prima di ricominciare nuovamente. Non seguire queste
istruzioni può portare al danneggiamento del telefono
cellulare; danni che non sono coperti dalla garanzia Etón
Corporation, che esclude ogni responsabilità in caso di
problemi derivanti da un uso scorretto, o dal non uso, delle
istruzioni qui illustrate.

LA LUCE IN CASO DI RICARICA MANUALE

La luce rossa indica che la carica per la radio è buona. La
luce verde vuol dire che c ’è abbastanza ricarica manuale da
permettere l’avvio.

RETROILLUMINAZIONE LCD

Premere il tasto DISP per attivare la retroilluminazione del display
LCD e dei pu lsanti al di so pra del displ ay LCD. La retroil luminazio ne
del disp lay LCD si spegn e automatic amente dopo c irca 5 secondi .

SELEZIONARE LE FREQUENZE E IMPOSTARE
LE STAZIONI RADIO

La versione americana del prodotto lavora su frequenze

Se si ascoltano frequenze FM o canali meteo, aggiustare
continuamente l’antenna telescopica. Se si ascoltano
frequenze AM l ’antenna telescopica non è necessaria. Le
stazioni possono essere sintonizzate utilizzando il tasto
apposito (posto sul lato destro della radio)

In alternativa, è possibile utiliz zare la scansione automatica:
Avviare la scansione utilizzando il tasto GIU’ o SU. La
scansione si arresta automaticamente quando si riceve un

canale.

ASCOLTO DELLE ONDE CORTE

Le onde corte consentono di ascoltare trasmissioni
trasmesse molto lontano, anche in altri paesi e in altri
continenti. Ecco alcune informazioni per ot tenere risultati

ottimali.

• Nel corso della giornata funzionano solitamente meglio le

frequenze superiori ai 13 MHz.

• Di notte operano invece meglio le frequenze inferiori ai

13 MHz.

• All’alba e al tramonto l ’intera gamma delle onde corte

funziona cor rettamente

• Per migliorare la ricezione delle onde corte si consiglia di

avvicinarsi a una nestra e di tenere la radio in mano.

IMPOSTARE OROLOGIO E SVEGLIA

L’orologio è basato sulle classiche 12/24-ore, per cui a
partire da mezzogiorno sul display viene visualizzato il PM

accanto all’orario.

Per passare dalle 12 alle 24 ore di tempo o
viceversa seguire questa procedura:

1. Spegnere la radio e premere per 3 volte il tasto SE T.

2. La dicitura 12 o 24 sarà visualiz zata sul display.

3. Premere i tasti MIN/UP o HOUR /DOWN per sistemare

queste impostazioni.

4. Premere SET per concludere l’operazione.

Per impostare l’orologio:

1. Spegnere la radio e premere legger mente il tasto SET.

2. Quando l’indicatore delle ore lampeggia, premere i tasti

MIN/UP o HOUR /DOWN per sistemare le impostazioni.

3. Premere SET di nuovo

4. Quando l’indicatore dei minuti lampeggia, premere i tasti

MIN/UP o HOUR /DOWN per sistemare le impostazioni.

5. Premere SET per concludere l’operazione.

Per impostare l’allarme:

1. Spegnere la radio, premere il tasto ALARM e premere

leggermente il tasto SET.

2. ALARM apparirà sulla sinistra dello schermo e l’indicatore

delle ore inizierà a lampeggiar

3. Premere i tasti MIN/UP o HOUR /DOWN per sistemare le

impostazioni.

4. Premere SET di nuovo

5. Quando l’indicatore dei minuti lampeggia, premere i tasti

MIN/UP o HOUR /DOWN per sistemare le impostazioni.

6. Premere SET per concludere l ’operazione.

ACCENDERE E SPEGNERE LA SVEGLIA

Con la radio accesa o spenta premere il tasto ALARM ON/
OFF. Quando è attivato, l’indicatore AL ARM appare sulla
sinistra dello schermo LCD.

SPEGNIMENTO AUTOMATICO

Lo spegnimento automatico può essere attivato con
la radio spenta o accesa. E’ possibile attivare questa
impostazione per 9 0, 60, 30 e 10 minuti in modo che
passato questo tempo la radio si spenga da sola.
Per attivare lo spegnimento automatico, premere il tasto
SLEEP button (in alto a destra, sopra il display) e scegliere I
minuti desiderati prima dello spegnimento dell’apparecchio
poi smet tere di premere il tasto una volta scelto.
L’indicatore SLEEP apparirà sulla sinistra nel monitor e la
radio si spegnerà da sola dopo il tempo selezionato.

ENTRATA PER AURICOLARE

L’entrata per gli auricolari è collocata dietro la radio ed è
la terza spina partendo da sinistra. Supporta tutti I tipi di
auricolari per stereo. L’audio è di tipo mono. A bbassare
sempre il volume prima di utilizzare gli auricolari e poi
regolarlo a proprio piacimento.

INGRESSO AUDIO ESTERNO

Collocato dietro la radio, la terza spina partendo da sinistra,
permette di ascoltare musica da altri apparecchi come per
esempio un iPod, utilizzando un cavo stereo da 3.5 mm (1/8
inch) per la connessione.
