GENERAL INFORMATION

DataTrack installations provide flexible power and data distribution
to small luminaires for gallery, museum, and retail displays. ETC’s
DataTrack Backbone expands the range of fixtures that can be used
in track applications to include larger fixtures, such as a Source Four
LED, for projects with high ceilings or large displays.

Track fixtures mount directly into the DataTrack channel; larger
theatrical-style fixtures mount to the top of the Backbone and
connect to power and data via a DataTrack pigtail adapter. DataTrack
Backbone is compatible with standard Unistrut mounting hardware,
for a flexible, robust, and clean installation.

FEATURES

• Aluminum extrusion can be supported on up to 10’ (305cm)
centers with a distributed load capacity of 190lb (86kg)

• Maximum distributed load capacity of 300lb (136kg) when
properly supported

• 100lb (45kg) maximum point load

• Available standard in anodized black and white or silver
powder coat paint; custom painted colors also available

• Pigtail adapters available to provide power and data
connection for fixtures

• Two-year warranty

SPECIFICATIONS

ELECTRICAL

• Supports use with 120V 2-circuit DataTrack and 230V
3-circuit Eutrac

• Supports use with UL and ETL fixtures using pigtail adapters
available from ETC

• Supports all DataTrack Feed and Coupler accessories

• Supports conduit feed with appropriate accessories

• 2-circuit DataTrack contains two hots and two neutrals;
3-circuit Eutrac contains three hots and one neutral

• Grounding connection provided through the aluminum track
profile

• DMX/RDM built in; supports up to 32 DMX devices per data
run; supports up to 20 RDM devices per data run

MECHANICAL

• Backbone constructed from 6061 T6 aluminum finished in
black anodizing or white or silver powder coat paint

• Coupler accessories constructed from steel and finished in
black, white, or silver powder coat paint

• DataTrack Backbone and Backbone accessories are compatible
with all standard DataTrack lengths, feeds and couplers

• Mounts to building structure using standard Unistrut
hardware (by others)

• Supports mounting of fixtures with DataTrack or
Eutrac track fitting

• Supports mounting of fixtures without DataTrack or Eutrac
head using Fixture Hanger Bracket

• Maximum distributed load capacity of 300lb (136kg)

• Maximum point load capacity of 100lb (45kg)

DataTrack within Backbone will support 22lb/ft (32.4kg/m); fixtures
must be installed on minimum 12”(30.5cm) centers.

DataTrack Backbone is for suspension mounting only.
