TO SHOW DETAILS.
STEP COMPLETELY BEFORE
STARTING THAT STEP.
This table has been inspected to insure proper fit. Carefully unpack and examine
each shipping container and its packing material before discarding to assure all parts
have been removed. Some smaller parts may be shipped inside larger parts. Check
inside parts before assembling.
Tools Needed:
n 1/2" Open End Wrench (2)
n 7/16" Open End Wrench (1)
Beside the assembly tools listed above, it would be useful to have a rachet with 1/2 and 7/16 sockets.
NOTE: Rails are made with cushion rubber at a height that requires 2 ¼" diameter balls. Your dealer has a complete line of Billard
Accessories.
NOTE: This table adds weight to any floor. Be sure floor can withstand this kind of weight. If floor sags, table will be
impossible to level!
WARNING
THIS TABLE IS DESIGNED FOR USE WITH SLATRON
ONLY. DO NOT PUT A SLATE TOP ON THIS TABLE.
ATTACH LEGS TO TABLE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Slide two leg assembly and one cross support
#24 between beams. As shown in figure 1.
2. Push a dowel connector #36 in each hole in cross
support #24 with slot in dowel connector horizontal.
See Detail A.
3. Push a bolt #26 with washer #50 through top and
bottom holes in beam, through leg and into cross
support #24. Thread into dowel connector #36. Do
NOT tighten bolt #26 at this time.
4. Push a bolt #40 with washer #50 through side
holes in beam through leg assembly and secure
with a washer #50 and hex nut #49.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 for all four leg assemblies.
6. Go back and tighten all hardware at this time.
WARNING
THIS STEP REQUIRES AT LEAST THREE ADULTS.
DO NOT REST WEIGHT OF TABLE ON APRONS OR
ON LEGS AT AN ANGLE.
7. Carefully turn table upright. Do NOT allow
weight of table to set on aprons or on legs at an
angle. Lift table flip over and set flat back down
on all four legs.
LEVELING THE TABLE
8. Using a carpenter's level, level table as well
as possible. Determine the highest corner
of the frame. Raise other three corners to
the level of the highest corner by shimming underneath legs using playing card
stock or grey chipboard stock (#47) shipped
with this table. Cut this chipboard and
place under 2 X 6 wooden leg posts (#20).
Figure 1
INDIVIDUAL LOCATION SHIMMING
Individual location shimming can be done,
IF NECESSARY, by following the following steps.
Detail A
A) Be sure table is set in its final location.
B) Table must be as level as possible before shimming.
Large differences in levelness must be corrected by
raising or lowering frame with shim stock.
DO NOT ASSUME FLOOR IS LEVEL!
C) Check with a carpenter's level to determine where bed is
low. Loosen screws from underneath, at these points
and see if slatron comes up to flat. If so, detach individual
shims #38 from the sheet shipped with this table and
place under these areas. Place shims next to screws.
D) Lay a straight edge across bed to be sure it pieces is flat.
