HOME POOL TABLE
Thank you for purchasing this pool table. This fine piece of furniture
will provide you with years of fun. The following is provided to
maximize your pleasure.
It is not humanly possible to construct wood furniture that is totally
flawless, but who would want it anyway?! What nature does to wood
is what gives every piece the unique characteristics and warmth that
humans can neither duplicate nor eliminate. Natural wood has been
prized by craftsmen of fine furniture for centuries...even though, like
the craftsmen themselves, no two pieces are the same, and that's
what makes your wood furniture so unique.
If the finish on the pieces you purchase looks slightly different in one
area than in others, it is not a quality problem, just a different
uniformity in grains causing one area to accept a deeper stain than
another. Try this - Take a piece of fresh wood, maybe from your
stack of fire-wood. Saw it in half and stain the end. Notice how the
stain absorbs differently in different areas. That's nature for you!
Wood is warm to the touch, strong, resilient, and becomes more
beautiful with age. To preserve the natural beauty of your wood
product, before polishing or waxing, dust the surface lightly with a
soft, damp cloth. Always work one small area at a time when polishing
or cleaning. Gently apply your favorite furniture polish, rubbing with
the grain. Allow the polish to dry and then buff with a soft, dry cloth.
We recommend that you wax no more than twice a year because
more can cause wax build-up which will hide the wood's natural
beauty . Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight or where it is exposed
to intense heat, cold, or dampness. Be sure to blot up all spills
immediately.
