ADAPTOR KIT, Part No. 995313
(TO CONNECT MIG-28A WIRE FEEDER TO HEL. 350 AC/DC POWER SOURCE)
This adaptor kit accessory is designed to provide a quick convenient junction point from which to connect the MIG28A control to the HEL. 350 AC/DC power source. The kit consists of a covered metal enclosure (containing an
auxiliary contactor relay and terminal strip) equipped with four easy to attach control leads. The entire assembly
weights approximately 8-1/2 pounds and bolts to the rear panel of the power source.
To properly install an adaptor kit, refer to the following interconnection diagram (and associated wiring diagrams).
This diagram reflects a complete welding installation, and also includes important operational control instructions
which must be set on the power source. Be sure that this information is used in conjunction with the HEL. 350 AC/DC
and MIG-28A instruction booklets. For ready reference these are as follows:
F-12-728, MIG 28A W elding Control (Part of Mig-28A Wire Package).
F-14-447, HEL. 350 AC/DC Welding Power Source.
IMPORTANT
To protect the MIG-28A from possible high frequency damage, always disconnect it from the power
source when not in use. To do this, remove the welding cable and the control cable on the back of
the control.
