Product Description

The 4000 Series Power and Light Cord Reel delivers exceptional
performance and flexibility utilizing a rugged platform capable of
surviving the most demanding jobsite environments. Flexible
configuration alternatives, with duplex, GFCI, Perma-Link and Perma­Grip receptacles, and LED hand lamps, provide the ability to meet a
wide range of application requirements.

A heavy duty powder-coated steel stand, cable guide, and drive
enclosure are combined with the steel pawl and ratchet assembly to
deliver years of worry free operation. The 600 V, 30 A slip ring
assembly provides a dependable electrical connection to power tools
and work lights, while the adjustable ball stop assembly allows simple
field tuning.

Ericson’s solutions are designed to meet the latest NEC and NRTL
safety standards, and undergo extensive quality checks and testing.

Types

Three and four wire models are available in a variety of lengths (25’ –
50’), wire gauges (12, 14, and 16 AWG), and secondary
configurations.

Materials and Finishes

All 4000 Series Cord Reels are constructed using a heavy duty formed
steel stand, steel cable guide, and steel pawl and ratchet assembly.
Steel components are powder-coated safety yellow.

Color

Options

All three-conductor models can be configured with a number of
different secondary alternatives including duplex receptacles, GFCI
receptacles, Perma-Link and Perma-Grip receptacles, and LED hand
lamps. Swivel base for 360° operation is also available.

Installation

Methods

Use Ericson recommended secondary devices to ensure proper, safe
operation. All secondary devices and assembly should comply with
NEC Standards.

Precautions

The 4000 Series Cord Reel must be connected to the proper power
source, and wired according to local standards by a qualified
electrician.

A correct and matching plug must be used and connected by a
qualified electrician when applicable.

The safety earth ground must be connected and cannot be a
combination of neutral and ground wire.

The 4000 Series Cord Reel is available in the United States and
Canada through electrical distribution partners.
