ソフトウェア使用許諾契約書
本パッケージにはセイコーエプソン株式会社（以下、「エプソン」）より提供
される、プリンターシステムの一部を構成するソフトウェア、特殊な暗号化
フォーマットにデジタルコード化された機械可読アウトラインデータ（以
下、「フォントプログラム」）、その他プリンティングソフトウェアと連動し
コンピューターシステム上で動作するソフトウェア（以下、「ホストソフト
ウェア」）、そして関連する説明資料（以下、「ドキュメンテーション」）が含
まれています。
本契約において「本ソフトウェア」とはプリンティングソフトウェア、フォ
ントプログラム、ホストソフトウェアの総称で、それら全てのアップグレー
ド版、修正版、追加版、複製物を含みます。
本ソフトウェアは以下の条件の下でお客様にご使用いただいております。
以下ご同意くださった場合に限り、本ソフトウェア及びドキュメンテーショ
ンを使用することのできる非独占的、譲渡不可のライセンスをエプソンによ
り付与いたします。
1. お客様は、お客様の日常業務での使用目的に限り、本ソフトウェアおよ
び、それに伴うフォントプログラムを使用することができます。
2. 上記 1．に定義されているフォントプログラムのライセンスに加え、お
客様は、フォントの重み、スタイル、文字・数字・シンボルのバージョ
ンをプリンティングソフトウェアを使用するコンピューターにおいて再
生表示することができます。
3. お客様はバックアップ用にホストソフトウェアをひとつ複製することが
できます。ただし、その複製物はいかなるコンピューターにおいてもイ
ンストールあるいは使用されないことを条件とします。ただし、プリン
ティングソフトウェアが実行されているプリンティングシステムと使用
するときに限り、ホストソフトウェアを複数のコンピューターにインス
トールすることができます。
4. 本契約の元、お客様はライセンシーとしての本ソフトウェアおよびド
キュメンテーションに対する権利および所有権を第三者（以下、譲受
人）に譲渡することができます。ただし、お客様が当該譲受人にソフト
ウェアやドキュメンテーションおよびそれらの複製物の全てを譲渡し、
当該譲受人が本契約の諸条件について同意している場合に限ります。
5. お客様はソフトウェアやドキュメンテーションを変更、改作、翻訳した
りすることはできません。
6. お客様は本ソフトウェアを改造、逆アセンブル、暗号解読、リバースエ
ンジニアリング、逆コンパイルすることはできません。
7. 本ソフトウェア、ドキュメンテーション、およびそれらの複製物に対す
る権利および所有権その他の権利はすべてエプソン及びそのライセン
サーに帰属します。
8. 商標は、商標の所有者名を明示し、容認された商標慣行に従って使用さ
れるものとします。商標の使用は、本ソフトウェアによって生成された
印刷出力の識別を目的とする場合に限られます。いかなる商標であって
も、こうした使用によって当該の商標の所有権がお客様に付与されるこ
とはありません。

9. お客様は、ご自身が使用されない本ソフトウェアあるいはその複製物、
または未使用の記憶媒体に収められた本ソフトウェアを貸与、リース、
使用許諾、譲渡することはできません。ただし、上述の、すべてのソフ
トウェアおよびドキュメンテーションを永久的に譲渡する場合を除きま
す。
10. エプソンおよびそのライセンサーは、損害が生じる可能性について報告
を受けていたとしても、本ソフトウェアの使用に付随または関連して生
ずる間接的、懲罰的あるいは実害、利益損失、財産損失についていかな
る場合においても、また第三者からのいかなるクレームに対しても一切
の責任を負いません。エプソン及びそのライセンサーは、本ソフトウェ
アの使用に関して、明示であるか黙示であるかを問わず、商品性または
特定の用途への適合性、所有権、第 3 者の権利を侵害しないことへの
保証を含むがこれに限定されず、すべての保証を否認します。ある国や
司法機関、行政によっては付随的、間接的、あるいは実害の例外あるい
は限定が認められず、お客様に上記の制限はあてはまらない場合もあり
ます。
11. Notice to Government End Users（本規定に関して：本規定は米国政府
機関のエンドユーザー以外の方には適用されません。）The Software is
a “commercial item,” as that term is defined at 48 C.F.R.2.101, consisting
of “commercial computer software” and “commercial computer software
documentation,” as such terms are used in 48 C.F.R. 12.212. Consistent
with 48 C.F.R. 12.212 and 48 C.F.R. 227.7202-1 through 227.7202-4, all
U.S. Government End Users acquire the Software with only those rights
set forth herein.

プリンタードライバーのインストール
ソフトウェアディスク を CD/DVD-ROM ドライブに入れます。

デスクトップに表示される CD アイコンをダブルクリックし、

［LP-S820Mac］フォルダーをダブルクリックし、お使いの OS バー
ジョンのフォルダー内のパッケージファイルをダブルクリックしま
す。
この後は画面の指示に従ってインストールを進めます。

最後に [ 閉じる ] をクリックしてインストールを終了します。
続いて、以下のページに進んでください。
Mac OS X10.3.9 の場合：「プリンタ設定ユーティリティ（Mac OS X
10.3.9）」 (p.30)
Mac OS X10.4 の場合：「プリンタ設定ユーティリティ（Mac OS X
10.4）」 (p.39)
Mac OS X10.5/10.6 の場合：「プリンタ設定ユーティリティ（Mac OS X

プリンタードライバーのアンインストール
プリンタードライバーを再インストールするときなど、プリンタードライ
バーを削除する必要がある場合は、以下の手順でドライバーを削除してくだ
さい。
Mac OS X 10.3.9/10.4 の場合
［Macintosh HD］−［アプリケーション］−［ユーティリティ］から

［プリンタ設定ユーティリティ］画面を開きます。
削除するプリンター名を選択し、［削除］をクリックします。

選択したプリンターが削除されます。
［プリンタ設定ユーティリティ］画面を閉じます。

インストールした［Macintosh HD］の［ライブラリ］−［Printers］−

［PPDs］−［Contents］−［Resources］−［ja.lproj］内の以下のファ
イルを［ゴミ箱］へドラッグします。
– ［EPSON LP-S820 PS.gz］
［ライブラリ］−［Printers］内の不要なファイルを削除します。

– ［ライブラリ］−［Printers］−［EPSON］−［Products］−
［LP-S820］−［PDEs］内の［EPSON LP-S820 PS.plugin］ファイル
を［ゴミ箱］へドラッグします。
– ［ライブラリ］−［Printers］−［EPSON］−［Products］−
［LP-S820］−［filter］内の［pstoLP-S820PS］ファイルを［ゴミ
箱］へドラッグします。
– ［ライブラリ］−［Printers］−［EPSON］−［Products］−
［LP-S820］−［Icons］内の［fileExistLPS820.icns］と［EPSON
LP-S820 PS.icns］ファイルを［ゴミ箱］へドラッグします。
– ［ライブラリ］−［Printers］−［EPSON］−［Products］−
［LP-S820］−［Profiles］内の［LP-S820PS.icc］ファイルを［ゴミ
箱］へドラッグします。
［ライブラリ］−［Receipts］内の［LP-S820 OSX

Installer_103104.pkg］をゴミ箱へドラッグします。
コンピューターを再起動します。

これでプリンタードライバーの削除は完了です。

プリンタードライバーのアンインストール
Mac OS X 10.5/10.6 の場合
［アップルメニュー］の［システム環境設定 ...］を開きます。

［プリントとファクス］をクリックします。

削除するプリンター名を選択し、［−］をクリックします。

確認メッセージが表示されたら、［OK］をクリックします。

選択したプリンターが削除されます。
［プリントとファクス］画面を閉じます。

インストールした［Macintosh HD］の［ライブラリ］−［Printers］−

［PPDs］−［Contents］−［Resources］内の［EPSON LP-S820 PS.gz］
ファイルを［ゴミ箱］へドラッグします。
［ライブラリ］−［Printers］−［EPSON］−［Products］内の

［LP-S820］フォルダーを［ゴミ箱］へドラッグします。
Mac OS X 10.5 の場合は［ライブラリ］−［Receipts］内の［LP-S820

OSX Installer_105.pkg］ファイルをゴミ箱へドラッグします。
コンピューターを再起動します。

これでプリンタードライバーの削除は完了です。

USB 接続の場合
USB ケーブルで、プリンターとコンピューターを接続します。

プリンターの電源がオンになっていることを確認し、コンピューター

を再起動します。
ハードディスクから［アプリケーション］→［ユーティリティ］にあ

る［プリンタ設定ユーティリティ］を開きます。
［プリンタリスト］画面で、［追加］をクリックします。

ポップアップリストから［USB］を選択します。
