We understand how valuable your counter
space is. That’s why the IR-700 boasts
the smallest footprint in its class. Stylish
and elegant, the IR-700 has been
specifically designed to allow horizontal or
vertical positioning, leaving you free to use
it in the way that best suits your needs.

With user comfort in mind, the IR-700
has been ergonomically designed to
ensure smooth and effortless
transactions. Silent in operation and
available in a choice of stylish dark grey
and cool white, it complements any retail
or hospitality environment.

Single mains power plug

Unlike some other solutions, the IR-700
has only one plug for fast and simple
installation and easy in-store portability.
Eliminating the need for numerous
power-points, the IR-700 helps you to
reduce costs and clutter. It also has an
in-built smart cable management
system to help keep your point of
service tidy and minimise the risk of
accidental disconnection.

User-friendly touch technology

Because you don’t want to keep your
customers waiting, we have equipped the
IR-700 with the latest, fast touchscreen

technology. High-durability, scratch and
water resistant, the LCD touchscreen is
available in large 12.1" or 15" sizes. Clear
and easy-to-read, it’s so intuitive that
transactions can be processed more
quickly than with an ordinary EPoS
keyboard, reducing queuing times and
improving customer service.

When used with the latest retail
management software, the IR-700 offers
clear, colour menus which make every
application incredibly easy and simple to
learn, while graphics are an immense aid
to recognising inventory - just what you
need if your staff turnover is high or if
stock lines change frequently. Even your
inexperienced staff can be up and
running within a few hours, helping to
reduce training costs.

We have equipped the IR-700 with a
superb range of standard peripherals and
features so you can deliver the highest
standards of service to your customers.
With the IR-700 you can implement, with
ease, today’s sophisticated marketing
techniques, such as loyalty schemes,
and its multimedia capability and dual
screen option are perfect for promotions
and advertising.

Because speed and efficiency are vital
to your business, uniquely, we have
integrated a fast TM-T88III thermal
receipt printer into the IR-700 to make
transactions even faster. There’s also an
optional printer tray, which lets you use
other Epson TM series products.

Chip & PIN compatible, the IR-700 has
other optional features including easy­to-read customer display, Magnetic
Stripe Reader (MSR) and, if you require
it, a fully-programmable PoS keyboard is
also available.

Reliable and easy-to-maintain

Built to last, you can depend on the
IR-700. We have carefully selected its
processor and components to
reduce power consumption which
substantially increases the IR-700’s
reliability and longevity.

All main components can be replaced
within minutes and, to make life even
easier, we’ve added unique software
tools which enable you to maintain the
IR-700 remotely via the Internet, ISDN or
LAN. This advanced feature helps keep
service costs down and ensures
minimum interruption to your business.
The IR-700 also includes onboard
diagnostic software which monitors and
identifies any potential hardware failures,
offering business continuity and
increased customer satisfaction. Plus its
RAID 1 functionality provides added
back-up support for your PoS operation.

Power and connectivity

With the latest Intel M processor at its
heart, the IR-700 provides the perfect
platform for some of the most widely
used technologies available, such as
Internet and thin client architectures.
And, being totally open, you have the
flexibility required to host the industry
standard software of your choice.
There’s a wide range of interface options
including serial, parallel, standard USB,
powered USB, Ethernet and wireless. In
addition, the IR-700 is OPoS compliant.
