The EPSON EMP-835’s high-speed
wireless capability (802.11g/b) represents
new levels of presentation performance
and freedom. Capable of wirelessly
connecting up to 4 projectors
simultaneously – masses of tangled
cables in presentation rooms are now
a thing of the past.

PC-Free Presentation (EPSON EMP-835)

Straight forward connection of USB memory devices and PC
cards containing pictures, presentations and movies (MPEG2)
without the need for a PC. It’s that simple.

Powerpoint presentations, JPEG and MPEG2 files can be projected
directly from USB devices, such as Hard Disk Drives (HDD) and

Advanced Security (EPSON EMP-835)

Security is one of the most important issues in today’s wireless
environments. The EPSON EMP-835 has been designed with full
support for WEP, WPA and LEAP encryption and authentication
standards.

Network Functionality

Both the EPSON EMP-830 and EMP-835
are ideal for networked environments, with
EPSON’s advanced networking technologies
that feature automatic e-mail notification of
projector problems, remote monitoring
and single PC control over multiple
LAN-connected projectors.

Quick Set-up

Auto Focus / Auto QuickCorner

The EPSON EMP-830 and EMP-835 are incredibly easy to set-up.
Just a press of the “Quick Set-up” button and the projector will
automatically size the image, correct the keystoning and focus
the picture.

Wall Shot

One press of the “Wall Shot” button and the EPSON EMP-830
and EMP-835 automatically detect the colour of the projection
surface and adjusts the image colour accordingly.
Beautiful images can be projected even without
a traditional white screen.

Convenient Installation Features

Direct Power On / Off

Easily connect the EPSON EMP-830 or EMP-835 to a room’s
main power source, so that when you turn on the lights the
projector is also activated. Unlike other projectors that require a
cooling down period before they can be turned off or unplugged,
the EPSON EMP-830 and EMP-835 can be safely turned off
immediately. This means no waiting around for the projector
to cool down.

Preview Function

The preview function allows the user to
view all connected sources (video, HDTV,
Computer 1 and 2) at the same time.

Full of Features, Full of Benefits

Full Input / Output Functionality

Up to 4 data sources, USB Type A / B and LAN can be connected
simultaneously, and with the EPSON EMP-835 a PC card slot can
also be used. With the monitor-out ports, multiple projectors can
be used to show the same presentation on different screens at
the same time. Added to this are audio-in ports for each input,
removing the need to switch cables mid-presentation, as well
as an audio-out port.

Simple Lamp and Filter Replacement

Easy access for lamp and filter replacement makes maintenance
incredibly simple, even with the projector mounted to the ceiling.

Powerful 5W Speaker

The EPSON EMP-830 and EMP-835’s powerful built-in speaker
produces rich, clear sound and eliminates the need for external
sound systems in many presentation environments.

Powered Zoom & Focus

Zoom and focus can be adjusted from the control panel or by
remote control, at the push of a button.

Source Search

The EPSON EMP-830 and EMP-835 instantly recognise an input
signal from any source - just press the “Source Search” button and
let the projector do the rest.

Wide 1.6x Zoom Ratio

Through a powerful 1.6x zoom, the EPSON EMP-830 and EMP-835
offer even greater flexibility in installations and projector placement –
a 60-inch image can be projected from as close as 1.8m or as far
away as 2.9m from the screen.

Picture-in-Picture

Using a PC, video images can be projected within the main
image, making it possible to view more than one image signal
simultaneously.

Password Protected Security Function

For tighter security and convenience, the EPSON EMP-830 and
EMP-835 come equipped with three password protect functions
– Power On Protect / User’s Logo Protect / Timer Protect.
