OPERATION GUIDANCE
A. INDICATOR LIGHTS
● Press the Key Switch to che ck remaining runtime on the EPK-16000

When using the uni t; the indicator lights will ash in a s equence.
The number of soli d lights translates to the available c harge remaining on the p ower unit. All indicator lights are s olid when the unit is fully charg ed.
B. CHARGING THE EPK-16000
1. Turn the Master Switch to OFF on th e power unit.
2. Plug Car/Travel adaptor.
3. Indicator lights ash in a se quence and solid lights indi cate
the amount of charg e. All solid indicator lights co nrm the
unit is fully charg ed. Normal Charge Ti me: 4 hours

C. JUMP STARTING 12V VEHICLES
1. Set the Master Switc h to ON. Conrm the power unit is charged and the re are at least 2 solid indicator lig hts.
2. Connect the red clamp of jump er cable to the vehicles positive (+) battery termi nal, and the black clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal.
3. Plug the Jumper Cable into the powe r unit’s Jump Starter Socket and press th e Key Switch button to start char ging.
4. Start the vehicle. Once th e vehicle is running. Turn the Master Switch to OFF o n the power unit and remove the jumper cables fr om the vehicle battery.
Warni ng: Disconnect the unit from the battery within three Minutes.
5. Leave the vehicle’s engine running for a few m inutes to let the vehicle batt ery recharge.
D. CHARGING CELLULAR PHONES, TABLETS AND OTHER USB DEVI CES
1. Plug the Universal C ellular Cable (B) to the USB port.
2. Select appropriate conn ector for your device and connec t.
3. Press the Key Switch button once t o start charging, and once more to stop chargi ng. EPK-16000 will automatica lly turn off once the device i s fully charged.
E. CHARGING A NOTEBOOK OR A LAPTOP
1. Plug the switch cable (A) to 12V/16V/19V Output.
2. Use the appropriate c onnector for your laptop, notebook or device.
3. Press the Key Switch to alternate bet ween different volt outputs. Unit will lig ht up appropriate output voltage light accordingly.
F. LED FLASHLIGHT
1. Press and hold the Key Sw itch button for 3 seconds to turn
on the LED Flashlight .
2. Pr ess it once more for Strobe, and agai n for SOS Beacon as needed.
3. Pr ess one more time to turn off the LED Flas hlight.
F.A .Q
Q: How do you turn off the un it? A: The unit will automat ically turn off when not in use. Mas ter Switch should be O FF when keeping the unit in storage.
Q: How many times can the un it charge my cellular phone? A: It varies based on th e cellular device and the origin al battery capacity rat ing. It will charge an iPhone 4 up to 7 times i n a single charge.
Q: How long will this un it take to fully charge a cellular phon e? A: Approximately 1 ho ur.
Q: How long will this un it take to charge my Notebook on a full cha rge? A: Approximately 2- 3 Hours.
Q: How many times will thi s unit jump start a vehicle in a sing le cha rge? A: Approximately 30 t imes.
Q: How long will this un it hold its charge in storage? A: 3-6 Months . However, it is suggested t he user recharges the unit every 3 months w hile in storage.
WARNING
● Disconnect th e jumper cables/unit within 3 mi nutes of jump- starting a vehicle.
● Do not touch positi ve and negative clamps of the jumper cables when in use.
● Do not dis assemble the power unit and st ore/use in dry place.
● This unit is not a toy and ch ildren should not operate witho ut adult supervision.
● Do not operate unit in ext reme or dangerous environment.
● Charge only at ambien t temperatures between -4°F to 185°F.
● Charge power unit only w ith the original travel/car adaptor.
TROUBLESHOOTING
ISSUE CAUSE FIX
EPK-16000 is not fully charged and a ll 5 indicator lights are on.
Unit was not full y charged for 4 hours in a sin gle recharge cycle.
Unplug the ada ptor and plug it in again .
No response w hen Key Switch butt on is pressed.
Low voltage pr otection has initiate d or the Master Switch is OFF.
Master Switc h is at ON position. T hen plug the travel or car ada ptor into the unit to re set low voltage protection circuit.
Unit is a bit too h ot when charging a No tebook or Laptop.
The chargin g current is high for fast er recharge. (3. 5A Output)
Disconnect the unit and let it cool dow n before using it again .
