CONNECTIONS + CONTROLS EA-S2
1 RCA INPUTS 1/2-CH Low-level stereo RCA signal input 1/2-CH for connection to head-unit.
2 INPUT GAIN CONTROL 1/2-CH Input gain potentiometer for channel 1/2-CH, to match the output voltage of the head-
unit to the amplifier’s input.
3 BASS BOOST
To increase bass performance from 0 – 6 dB @ 45 Hz.
4 X-OVER MODE
Switch to choose between high- and lowpass filtering.
5 X-OVER ACTIVATION SWITCH
Switch to de-/activate the crossover filtering section of the amplifier.
6 X-OVER FREQUENCY CONTROL Control potentiometer to adjust the crossover filtering frequency point of the amplifier.
7 HIGH INPUT
Molex connector terminals to insert the High level adapter (2 x 4-pin) that picks up the amplified speaker signal from the head unit’s front output (if head unit does not
feature dedicated RCA line outs).
8 SUM ACTIVATION SWITCH The sum function combines the CH1+3 and CH2+4 input channels.
If the car stereo provides only speaker dedicated signals (i.e. high frequencies only for tweeter and second output with only low frequencies for the midrange/woofer), this sum function combines both signals to one complete full range signal.
9 SUM BALANCE CONTROL Potentiometer to adjust the right volume balance between CH1 and CH2
10 POWER LED
LED to show proper operating status of the amplifier by green illumination. Protect state of amplifier is signaled by the red LED.
11 “GND” POWER INPUT TERMINAL
Terminal to connect the amplifier to the chassis ground or negative pole of the car battery.

13 “B+” POWER INPUT TERMINAL Terminal to connect the amplifier to the positive +12V pole of the car battery.
14 SPEAKER OUTPUT TERMINAL Output terminal to connect the speakers to the amplifier in either stereo or bridged
mode.
