In only a few steps you are ready to get back online. Plug in the adapter on an available USB 3.0 port and install the
driver. The EM1017 Gigabit Networking Adapter is USB 3.0 compliant. The EM1017 is backwards compatible with USB

1.1 or USB 2.0 ports. The transfer speed will be slower though, due to the USB 1.1. or USB 2.0 port. To be ensured of
a Gigabit connection a USB 3.0 port is required.
