Electric Fire Pump Controllers

Description

Firetrol® Limited Service Controllers may be used for the au­tomatic control of small electrically driven fi re pumps and booster
pumps where they are acceptable to the authority having juris­diction. They are available in single phase (FTA740 Model) and 3
phase(FTA750 Model) confi gurations.

Approvals

Firetrol Limited Service Controllers are listed by Underwriters’
Laboratories, Inc., in accordance with UL218, Standard for Fire Pump
Controllers, and CSA, Standard for Industrial Control Equipment
(cUL). They are built to meet or exceed the requirements of the ap­proving authorities as well as NEMA and the latest editions of NFPA
20, Installation of Centrifugal Fire Pumps, and NFPA 70, National
Electrical Code.

Enclosures

The standard enclosures are NEMA Type 2 (IEC IP22), drip­proof for installation in areas protected from direct sunlight with an
ambient temperature above 41° F (5° C). Optional enclosure types
include:
NEMA Type 3R - Raintight, weatherproof (IEC IP14)
NEMA Type 4 - Watertight, (Painted Steel) (IEC IP56)
NEMA Type 4X - Watertight, corrosion resistant (#304 stainless

NEMA Type 12 - Industrial use, dust-tight, oiltight (IEC IP52)
NEMA enclosures listed meet or exceed referenced IEC designations.

• Door mounted display/interface panel featuring a 128 x 64 pixel
