ELINCHROM BRIDGE CHARACTERISTICS

The Elinchrom Bridge is a small and robust bridge
between your EL flash units and your computer
or mobile devices MAC / WIN or iOS / Android
operating systems.

It implements Bluetooth standards for easy pairing
with mobile devices for IOS and Android and a new
EL-Skyport software compatible with MAC or WIN
operating systems via the USB connection. The
Elinchrom Bridge enables you to use all the remote
control features available with the new EL-Skyport
Application for IOS or Android or either with Mac
and WIN software.

The EL-Bridge is compatible with EL flash units
with built in EL-Skyport receiver (Ranger Quadra
RX, BRX family, D-Lite RX family, ELB family,
ELC family). Style, Ranger RX, Digital RX with the
Transceiver RX are not supported.

The Elinchrom Bridge comes with ¼” thread, which
can be mounted anywhere in the distance range of
your mobile device. There is a USB connection for
power supply, firmware updates and to connect the
Bridge directly with a computer to control enabled
flash units.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

TO SWITCH ON/OFF THE ELINCHROM BRIDGE

To switch on the Elinchrom Bridge, press and hold
ON/OFF (or power) button at least for one second
until the white LED will light up to indicate the
switching process (now release the button).

After that, the LED flashes in GREEN color,
indicating that the system is ready and waiting for
the Bluetooth connection.

Once a Bluetooth connection is established, the
LED will flash in BLUE.

When the Elinchrom Bridge is connected via USB
cable to a computer, the LED flashes GREEN and is
ready to operate the Elinchrom Studio software.

Switch OFF procedure is almost the same: press
and hold “ON/OFF (or power)” button at least for
one second, until the LED becomes white, then
release and the system will shutdown.

HOW TO OPERATE

IOS / Android

Install the Elinchrom App on your mobile device

Switch the Bridge on.

Open the Elinchrom APP

The BLUE LED will light up on the Bridge and the
App can scan now for compatible EL flash units.

MAC / WIN

Install the Elinchrom Studio software on your
computer

Connect the Bridge via the USB connection with
a cable

Open the Elinchrom software

The GREEN LED will light up on the Bridge and
the software can scan now for compatible EL flash
units.

HOW TO CHARGE

To charge the Elinchrom Bridge please connect it to
your computer with a micro-USB cable (included).
Alternatively, use the optional charger (International
Charger Kit, article code 19276. Not included).

FIRMWARE UPDATE

To update your Elinchrom Bridge, simply press
ON/OFF button for at least 5 secs. The white LED
will light up to indicate the switching process,
continue to hold power button until the LED lights
up in yellow and flashes two times each second,
meaning the Bridge is ready for updates. Download
the EL Updater software and follow the instructions.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Having this
problem?

Please check the following
points:

Battery may be discharged.
Please charge the battery.

• Reposition the units.

• Increase the distance
from walls and
ceilings.

• Outdoors, the
distance range
can be reduced
due to humidity,
interferences,
obstacles etc.

• Try another
frequency channel
for both the units and
the application.

• Reduce the distance
between the unit and
the transmitter.
