Before using your New Ceramic Hob
• Read this guid e, taking specia l note of the ‘S a fety Warnings’ section.
• Remove any protective film that may still be on your ceramic hob.
Using the Touch Controls
• The controls r e s pond to touch, s o you don’t need to apply any pressur e.
• Use the ball of your finger, not its tip.
• You will hear a beep each time a touch is registered.
• Make sure the controls are always clean, dry, and that there is no object (e.g. a
utensil or a cloth) covering them. Even a thin film of water may make the
controls dif ficult to operate.
Choosing the right Cookware
Do not use cookware w ith jagged edges or a curved base.
Make sure that the base of your pan is smooth, sits flat against the glass, and is
the same size as the cooking zone. Always centre your pan on the cooking z one.
Always lif t pans off the c eramic hob – do not slide, or they may s cratch the g lass.
Using your Ceramic Hob
To start cooki ng
• After power on, the buzz er beeps once, al l the indicators li ght u p for 1 secon d
then go out, in dicating that the ceramic hob has entered the state of standby
mode.
1. Touch the ON/OFF control.all th e indicators
show “-“
2. Place a suitable pan on the cooking zone that
you wish to us e .
• Make sure the bottom of the p a n and the surfac e
Of the cooking zone a r e c lean a nd dry.
3. Touching the heating zone se lec tion control
(e.g. zone 1#)
4. Select a heat setting by touc hing the “-“ or
“+” control.
• If you don’ t choose a heat setting within 1
minute, the ceramic hob will automatically
switch off. You will need to start again at
step 1.
• You can modify the heat settin g at any time
during cooking.
• By holding down e ither of these b uttons, the
value w ill a d just up or down .
When you have finished cooking
1. Touching the heating zone selection
control that you wish to switc h off
(e.g. zone 1#),
2. Turn the cook ing zone off by scr olling down to “ 0 “ or touching “-“ and
”+” control together.
3. Turn the whole c ooktop off by touching the ON/OFF control.
2. Beware of hot surfaces
will show which cooking zone is hot to tou c h. It will disapp ear
when the surface has cooled down to a safe temperature. It can also be
used as an energy saving function if you want to heat further pans, use
the hotplate that is still ho t.
Locking the Controls
• You can lock the controls to prev ent unintended use (for exam ple c hildren
accidental ly turning the cooking zones on ) .
• When the controls are lo c ked, all the controls except the O N/OFF control a r e
disabled.
To lock the controls
Touch the keylock control. The timer indicator will show “ “
To unlock the controls
1. Make sure the cera m ic hob is tu r ned on.
2. Touch and hol d the keylock contro for few seconds.
3. You can now start using your ceramic hob.
When the hob is in the lock mode,all the controls are dis able except the
ON/OFF
, you can always tur n the cer amic hob off w ith the ON/OFF
control in an emergency,but you shall unlo ck the hob f irst in the next
operation
