1. SAFETY INFORMATION

Before beginning the installation and use of this appliance, carefully read the supplied instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible for any injuries or damages that are the result of incorrect installation or usage. Always keep the instructions in a safe and accessible location for future reference.

1.1 Children and vulnerable people safety

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Do not let children play with the appliance.
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away
unless continuously supervised.
Keep all packaging away from children and dispose of
it appropriately.
Keep detergents away from children.
Keep children and pets away from the appliance when
the door is open.
If the appliance has a child safety device, this should
be activated.
Children shall not carry out cleaning and user
maintenance of the appliance without supervision.

1.2 General Safety

Do not change the specification of this appliance.
If the tumble dryer is put on top of a washing machine,
use the stacking kit. The stacking kit, available from your authorized vendor, can be used only with the appliance specified in the instructions, supplied with the accessory. Read it carefully before installation (Refer to the Installation leaflet).
The appliance can be installed as freestanding or
below the kitchen counter with correct space (Refer to the Installation leaflet).
Do not install the appliance behind a lockable door, a
sliding door or a door with a hinge on the opposite side, that would prevent the appliance door from being fully opened.
The ventilation opening in the base must not be
covered by a carpet, mat, or any floor covering.

WARNING: The appliance must not be supplied
through an external switching device, such as timer, or
connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and
off by a utility.
Connect the mains plug to the mains socket only at
the end of the installation process. Make sure that the
mains plug is accessible after installation.
Ensure good air ventilation in the located room to
avoid the backflow of unwanted gases into the room
from appliances burning gas or other fuels, including
open fires.
If the mains power supply cable is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, its Authorised
Service Centre or similarly qualified persons to avoid
an electrical hazard.
Do not exceed the maximum load of 8 kg (refer to the
"Programme chart" chapter).
Do not use the appliance if items have been soiled
with industrial chemicals.
Wipe away lint or packaging debris that has
accumulated around the appliance.
Do not run the appliance without a filter. Clean the lint
filter before or after each use.
Do not dry unwashed items in the tumble dryer.
Items that have been soiled with substances such as
cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot
removers, turpentine, waxes and wax removers
should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of
detergent before being dried in the tumble dryer.
Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps,
waterproof textiles, rubber backed articles and clothes
or pillows fitted with foam rubber pads should not be
dried in the tumble dryer.
Fabric softeners, or similar products, should only be
used as specified by the product manufacturer’s
instructions.

Remove all objects from items that could be a source
of fire ignition such as lighters or matches.
WARNING: Never stop a tumble dryer before the end
of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out so that the heat is dissipated.
Before any maintenance operation, deactivate the
appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

2.1 Installation

• Remove all the packaging.
• Do not install or use a damaged appliance.
• Follow the installation instruction supplied with the appliance.
• Always take care when moving the appliance as it is heavy. Always use safety gloves and enclosed footwear.
• Do not install or use the appliance where the temperature can be less than 5°C or higher than 35°C.
• The floor area where the appliance is to be installed must be flat, stable, heat resistant and clean.
• Make sure that there is air circulation between the appliance and the floor.
• Always keep the appliance vertical when being moved.
• The rear surface of the appliance must be put against the wall.
• When the appliance is in its permanent position, check that it is fully level with the aid of a spirit level. If it is not, adjust the feet accordingly.

2.2 Electrical connection

WARNING!
Risk of fire and electrical shock.
• Connect the mains plug to the mains socket only at the end of the installation. Make sure that there is access to the mains plug after the installation.
• The appliance must be earthed.
• Make sure that the parameters on the rating plate are compatible with the
electrical ratings of the mains power supply.
• Always use a correctly installed shockproof socket.
• Do not use multi-plug adapters and extension cables.
• Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect the appliance. Always pull the mains plug.
• Do not touch the mains cable or the mains plug with wet hands.
• This appliance complies with the E.E.C. Directives.

2.3 Use

WARNING!
Risk of injury, electrical shock, fire, burns or damage to the appliance.
• This appliance is for household use only.
• Do not dry damaged (torn, frayed) items that contain padding or fillings.
• Only dry fabrics which are applicable to dry in the tumble dryer. Follow the instructions on the fabric label.
• If you have washed your laundry with a stain remover start an extra rinse cycle before you start the dryer.
• Do not drink or prepare food with the condensed water/distilled water. It can cause health problems to people and pets.
• Do not sit or stand on the open door.
• Do not dry dripping wet clothes in the tumble dryer.

2.4 Internal light

WARNING!
Risk of injury.
• Visible LED radiation, do not look directly into the beam.
• The LED lamp is dedicated to drum lighting. This lamp cannot be reused for other lighting purposes.
• To replace the internal light, contact the Authorised Service Centre.

2.5 Care and cleaning

WARNING!
Risk of injury or damage to the appliance.
• Do not use water spray and steam to clean the appliance.
• Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Only use neutral detergents. Do not use any abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads, solvents or metal objects.
• To prevent damage to the cooling system be careful when you clean the appliance.

• The compressor and its system in the tumble dryer is filled with the special agent which is free from fluoro-chloro­hydrocarbons. This system must stay tight. The damage of the system can cause a leakage.

2.7 Disposal

WARNING!
Risk of injury or suffocation.
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains electrical and water supplies.
• Cut off the mains electrical cable close to the appliance and dispose of it.
• Remove the door catch to prevent children or pets from becoming trapped in the drum.
• Dispose of the appliance in accordance with local requirements for the disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

5. FIRST TIME START-UP

When you turn on your dryer for the first time, the Start-up Screen (shows the Electrolux logo and the time ) appears on the touch screen and plays each time you turn on the dryer.
After the animation plays, you are guided through the initial setup procedure.

5.2 Time setup

1. Scroll the bar of hours and minutes to
the right or left to set the current time.
2. To select the time tap on the clock bar.
3. To accept the time tap on OK, if you want to change it tap onChange.

If you press OK, the warnings of full water tank is still enabled. The program list appears and in a few seconds it will change in to the summary screen.

Water Tank Warning

1. If the external kit for water discharge is installed (additional accessory), the appliance automatically drains the water from the water tank. In this condition you are able to deactivate the warnings of the water tank.

6. USING THE TOUCH SCREEN

Every time you turn on your dryer, the Start-up Screen (shows the logo and the time ) appears on the touch screen.
If you press Change, proceed to next step.
2. To confirm that the Full water tank warning is disabled press OK, if you want to change it press Change.

After the Start-up animation plays, the program summary screen appears on the touch screen.
The Summary Screen is divided into four areas, where you can find:
• Max weight for cycle, program name, dryness level.
• Time to end of the program or time delay (if selected).
• The currently selected options for the selected cycle.
• More options.

7. WI-FI - CONNECTIVITY SETUP

This chapter describes how to connect the smart appliance to the Wi-Fi network and to link it to a mobile devices.
By this functionality you can receive notifications, monitor and control your tumble dryer from your mobile devices.
To connect the appliance to enjoy the full range of features and services you need:
• Wireless network at home with internet connection enabled.
• Mobile device connected to wireless network.

"My Electrolux"
When connecting the tumble dryer to the application, stand near it with Your smart device.
Make sure that your smart device is connected to the wireless network.
1. Go to the App Store on your smart device.
2. Download and install App "My Electrolux" .
3. Make sure you started a Wi-fi connection in the dryer. If not go to the section below.
4. Start the application. Select the country and language and login with Your email and password. If you do not have an account, create a new one following the instructions in "My Electrolux".
5. Follow the instructions on the App for the appliance registration and configuration.
A message appears on the appliance display to confirm that the configuration was successful.

7.2 Configuring the dryer wireless connection

Have "My Electrolux" downloaded and installed on your smart device.

A pop-up message will appear, the icon
starts flashing and wireless module begins starting up. It may take about 2 minute before it is ready.
When the wireless module is ready, pop­up message will appear to inform you, that the access point will be open for

7.3 Remote Start Mode

You can start and stop a drying programme remotely.
When the App is installed and the wireless connection is complete, the Remote Start Mode option will appear among the available options.
To activate the remote start:
1. In the programme summery screen, tap More to enter the option list.
2. Tap on Remote Start Mode bar (ON status).
The following message pops up:

8. BEFORE FIRST USE

Rear drum packaging is removed automatically when dryer is activated for the first time. Possible to hear some noise.
Before you use the appliance for the first time:
• Clean the tumble dryer drum with a moist cloth.
• Start a short programme (e.g. 30 minutes) with moist laundry.

If the door is open, the Remote Start Mode is deactivated.

10. OPTIONS

10.1 Extra Silent

The appliance operates with low noise without effect on the drying quality. The appliance operates slowly with longer cycle time.

10.2 Eco

This option is on by default with all programs.
The power consumption is at the minimum level.

10.3 Dryness Level

This function helps to get the laundry more dried. There are 4 possible selections:
• Extra Dry
• Cupboard Dry+ (for Cotton only)
• Cupboard Dry
• Iron Dry

10.4 Time Dry

For cottons, synthetics and mixed. Lets the user to set drying time from minimum 10 min to maximum of 2 hours (in 10 min steps). When this option is maximum, load indicator disappears.

Extends up to 120 minutes the anticrease phase (30 minutes) at the end of the drying cycle. After drying phase drum rotates time to time what prevents the clothes from creases. Laundry can be removed during the anti-crease phase.

10.6 Load

This option is applicable only to the Wool programme to get laundry more dried. There are 3 possible selections:

10.7 Delay Start

Lets to delay the start of a drying program from minimum of 10 minutes to maximum of 24 hours.
1. Set the drying program and options.
2. In the option menu tap on the Delay Start bar to enter the submenu.

4. To activate Delay Start option, touch the Start/Pause button.
After touching the Start/Pause button, the appliance begins the countdown.

11. DAILY USE

Any time you can stop the countdown of the delay time by pressing the Reset button.

10.8 Memory

Lets you memorise up to 2 of your favorite configurations of programmes and options in the appliance memory. After memorising configurations you are able to choose them from the program list.
Your favorite configurations are marked in the program list as M1 and M2.

11.1 Preparing the laundry

• Close the zips.
• Close the fasteners of duvet covers.
• Do not dry ties or ribbons loose (e.g.
apron ribbons). Tie them before you start a programme.
• Remove all items from pockets.
• Turn items with internal layer made of
cotton inside out. Cotton layer must be faced outward.
• Always set the programme suitable
for the type of laundry.
• Do not put light and dark colours
together.

11.2 Loading the laundry

Ensure the laundry is not

• Use suitable programme for cottons, jersey and knitwear to reduce shrinkage.
• Do not exceed the maximum load stated in programmes chapter or shown on the display.
• Dry only the laundry that is suitable for tumble drying. Refer to the fabric label on the items.
• Do not dry large and small items together. Small items can be trapped inside the large items and remain wet.

3. Close the appliance door.

To turn on the appliance: Push the On/Off button.
If the appliance is on the display lights up.

11.4 Auto Off function

To decrease the energy consumption, the Auto Off function turns off the appliance automatically:
• if no selection was done in the last 5 minutes.
• after 5 minutes from the program end.
Push the On/Off button to turn on the appliance. If the appliance is on the display lights up.

11.5 Setting a program

• Use the program dial to set the program.

Scroll the program list up or down to set the program.
The possible time to complete the program comes into the time bar.
The drying time you see is related to the load of 5 kg for cotton program. For the other programs the drying time is related to the recommended loads. The drying time of the cotton program with the load more than 5 kg is longer.
• You can also set the program, by using the touch screen. If the summary screen is on, tap on it once to see the program list.

11.6 Options

Together with the program you can set 1 or more special options.
If you want to change the parameters of the options currently selected, tap on the option you want to edit.

To select additional options:
1. Tap on More to see list of the options dedicated for the selected program.
2. Scroll the options list up or down to browse it.
Tap on the previously selected option to go back to the option list.
Any time, you can get directly to the summary screen, if you tap on left part of the top bar with the name of the program.
3. Tap the option to select it.
There are two types of options:
• with the status ON or OFF (eg. Eco).
• with the editable parameters (eg.
Dryness Level). To change the parameter scroll the parameter bar to the right or left.

To start the program, Touch the Start/ Pause button.
The appliance starts and the LED above the button stops flashing and stays on.
On the screen you can find:
• the name of the program.
• the remaining drying time.
• the progress bar.
• the phase of a cycle (drying, anticrease, cooling).
• the possible end time of the program.

Child lock option activation:

At any time during the drying you can activate the child lock option.
1. Tap on the option icon to get to
the option list.
2. Tap on the child lock option.
The option icon will change into the child lock icon.

To deactivate the child lock option tap on and hold the child lock icon a few
seconds.

11.8 Program change

To change a program:
1. Push the On/Off button to turn the appliance off.
2. Push the On/Off button again to turn on the appliance.
3. Set a new program.

11.9 Program end

Clean the filter and drain the water container after each drying cycle. (See chapter CARE AND CLEANING.)
If the drying cycle is finished, the symbol 0 appears on the display. If the Cycle

If you do not turn off the appliance, the anti-crease phase starts (not active with all programs). Laundry can be removed during this phase. At the end of the anti-crease phase the display tells that the anti-crease phase is finished and shows 0h00min
To remove the laundry:
1. Push the On/Off button for 2 seconds to turn the appliance off.
2. Open the appliance door.
3. Remove the laundry.
4. Close the appliance door.

12. MACHINE SETTINGS

In the programs screen scroll up or down to find machine settings, and tap on the
icon to get to the settings list.

12.1 Set Clock

You can change the clock each time you want.
To change the time:
1. Tap on the Set Clock bar.
2. Scroll the bar of hours and minutes to
the right or left to set the current time.
2. Scroll the list of languages up or down to find the language you want to use and tap on it.

12.3 Display Brightness

You can control the brightness level of the Display. There are 6 brightness levels.
To improve readability of the display when a dryer is stacked over a washing machine set the 6th level of the display brightness. When the dryer is not stacked level 1 to 5 are suggested.
To change the display brightness:
1. Tap on Display Brightness bar.
2. Scroll the bar to the right or left to set
the level of the brightness.
3. Tap on the Set Clock bar to get back to the machine settings list or tap on the <Programmes bar to get to the summary screen.

To change the language:
1. Tap on the Language bar.
