Alarm F21-1 or F21-2 in UC, FL & HT

Undercounter double skin, Front Loading and Hood Type high capacity with
water softener built-in (LS6EADPWS / WT38WS, LU7ADPWS /
WTU40ADPWS and LS14EAWS / WT65WS).

The alarm F21-1 or F21-2 appears seemingly without any reason.
We had experience of alarm F21-1 or F21-2 because of low electrical

conductivity despite medium water hardness.
Since serial number 71200001 we have improved the sensitivity of algorithm

of electrical conductivity measurement. The change we made refers to resins
washing after regeneration: we changed from 4 washings of 3 seconds each
to 3 washings of 4 seconds each.

Since serial number 80500001 we have improved further the sensitivity of
algorithm of electrical conductivity measurement.
Now there are 2 resin washings of 6 seconds each.

The sensitivity of algorithm cannot be improved by change of parameter
setting by user interface.
You can download new machine’s parameters by the ERSS – January 2008

update onwards

1. disconnect communication cable from main board to water softener board;

2. change setting of parameter HCP / Ser from 9 to 1;

3. connect cable of DAAS adapter to the main board;

4. download parameters by the ERSS according to PNC of machine to update (any
parameter change you did in the machine will be lost);

5. disconnect cable of DAAS adapter from the main board;

6. re-connect communication cable from main board to water softener board.

7. the parameter HCP / Ser switches from 1 to 9 by itself if the machine is switched off/on
after steps above.
