• Ziehen Sie vor der Entsorgung des Gerätes den Netzstecker, schneiden Sie das Netzkabel (so nah wie möglich am Gerät) ab und entfernen Sie die Tür, so dass spielende Kinder vor elektrischem Schlag geschützt sind und sich nicht in dem Gerät einschließen können.

• Wenn dieses Gerät mit magnetischer Türdichtung ein älteres Modell mit Schnappverschluss (Türlasche) an der Tür oder auf dem Deckel ersetzt, machen Sie den Schnappverschluss vor dem Entsorgen des Altgerätes unbrauchbar. So verhindern Sie, dass das Gerät nicht zu einer Todesfalle für Kinder wird.

• Verwenden Sie keine anderen Elektrogeräte (wie Speiseeisbereiter) in Kühlgeräten, wenn solche Geräte nicht ausdrücklich vom Hersteller für diesen Zweck zugelassen sind.

• Beschädigen Sie nicht den Kältekreislauf.

• Das Kältemittel Isobutan (R600a) im Kältekreislauf des Gerätes ist ein natürliches und sehr umweltfreundliches Gas, das jedoch leicht entflammbar ist. Achten Sie beim Transport und bei der Aufstellung des Gerätes darauf, nicht die Komponenten des Kältekreislaufs zu beschädigen. Warnung! Elektrische Bauteile (Netzkabel, Stecker, Kompressor) dürfen zur Vermeidung von Gefahren nur vom Kundendienst oder einer Fachkraft ausgewechselt werden.

2. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der

Netzstecker nicht von der Geräterückseite geklemmt oder beschädigt wird. Ein geklemmter oder beschädigter Netzstecker überhitzt und kann einen Brand verursachen.

3. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der

Netzstecker des Geräts frei zugänglich ist.

4. Ziehen Sie nicht am Netzkabel.

5. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker nie in

eine lockere Steckdose. Es besteht Brand- und Stromschlaggefahr.

6. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht ohne

Lampenabdeckung (wenn vorgesehen) der internen Beleuchtung.

• Dieses Gerät ist schwer. Vorsicht beim Transport.

• Entnehmen oder berühren Sie nie mit nassen/feuchten Händen Tiefkühlgut, da dies zu Hautverletzungen oder Kälteverbrennungen führen kann.

• Das Gerät nicht direkter Sonneneinstrahlung aussetzen.

• Die Leuchtmittel (wenn vorgesehen) in diesem Gerät sind Speziallampen, die nur für Haushaltsgeräte geeignet sind. Sie eignen sich nicht zur Raumbeleuchtung.

TÄGLICHER GEBRAUCH

• Stellen Sie keine heißen Töpfe auf die Kunststoffteile des Gerätes.

• Lagern Sie keine feuergefährlichen Gase oder Flüssigkeiten in dem Gerät. Explosionsgefahr.

• Legen Sie Lebensmittel nicht direkt vor den Luftauslass in der Rückwand. (Wenn es ein No-Frost-Gerät ist)

• Ein aufgetautes Produkt darf nicht wieder eingefroren werden.

• Abgepackte Tiefkühlkost immer entsprechend den Herstellerangaben aufbewahren.

• Die Lagerempfehlungen des Geräteherstellers sollten strikt eingehalten werden. Halten Sie sich an die betreffenden Anweisungen.

• Keine kohlensäurehaltigen Getränke oder Sprudel in den Tiefkühlschrank stellen, da der Druckanstieg in den Behältern zur Explosion führen und das Gerät beschädigen kann.

• Eis am Stiel kann Kälteverbrennungen verursachen, wenn es direkt nach der Entnahme aus dem Gefrierschrank gegessen wird.

REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE

• Schalten Sie vor Wartungsarbeiten immer das Gerät ab und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

• Reinigen Sie das Gerät nicht mit Metallgegenständen.

• Keine scharfen Gegenstände zum Entfernen von Reif und Eis im Gerät verwenden. Verwenden Sie einen Kunststoffschaber.

• Kontrollieren Sie den Tauwasserabfluss im Kühlraum in regelmäßigen Abständen. Reinigen Sie den Ablauf, falls nötig. Bei verstopftem Wasserabfluss sammelt sich das Wasser auf dem Boden des Geräts an.

MONTAGE Wichtig! Halten Sie sich für den

elektrischen Anschluss strikt an die Anweisungen der betreffenden Abschnitte.

• Kontrollieren Sie nach dem Auspacken das Gerät auf eventuelle Beschädigungen. Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb, wenn es beschädigt ist. Melden Sie die Schäden umgehend dem Händler, bei dem Sie es erworben haben. Bewahren Sie in diesem Fall die Verpackung auf.

• Lassen Sie das Gerät mindestens vier Stunden stehen, bevor Sie es elektrisch anschließen, damit das Öl in den Kompressor zurückfließen kann.

• Ausreichenden Freiraum zur Luftzirkulation um das Gerät lassen; anderenfalls besteht Überhitzungsgefahr. Halten Sie sich für die Belüftung an die Installationsanweisungen.

• Das Gerät sollte zur Vermeidung von Verbrennungen durch Berührung von heißen Bauteilen (Kompressor, Kondensator) möglichst mit der Rückseite gegen eine Wand aufgestellt werden.

• Das Gerät darf nicht in der Nähe von Heizkörpern oder Kochern installiert werden.

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Netzstecker des Gerätes nach der Installation frei zugänglich ist.

• Wenn ein Wasseranschluss vorgesehen ist, verbinden Sie das Gerät nur mit dem Trinkwasseranschluss.

KUNDENDIENST

• Sollte die Wartung des Gerätes elektrische Arbeiten verlangen, so dürfen diese nur von einem qualifizierten Elektriker oder einem Elektro-Fachmann durchgeführt werden.

• Wenden Sie sich für Reparaturen und Wartung nur an Fachkräfte der autorisierten Kundendienststellen und verlangen Sie stets Original-Ersatzteile.

UMWELTSCHUTZ

Das Gerät enthält im Kältekreis oder in dem Isoliermaterial keine ozonschädigenden Gase. Das Gerät darf nicht wie normaler Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Die Isolierung enthält entzündliche Gase: das Gerät muss gemäß den geltenden Vorschriften entsorgt werden; sie erhalten diese bei Ihrer Gemeindeverwaltung. EINSCHALTEN DES GERÄTS

Zum Einschalten des Geräts:

1. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Netzsteckdose.

2. Drücken Sie die Taste ON/OFF , wenn das Display ausgeschaltet ist.

3. Wenn „dEMo“ auf dem Display angezeigt wird, befindet sich das Gerät im Demo-Modus. Schlagen Sie dazu bitte unter „Was tun, wenn...“ nach.

4. Die Temperaturanzeigen zeigen die jeweils eingestellte Standardtemperatur an.

Informationen zur Auswahl einer anderen Temperatur finden Sie unter „Temperaturregelung“.

AUSSCHALTEN

Zum Ausschalten des Gerätes:

1. Drücken Sie 5 Sekunden lang die Taste ON/OFF.

2. Das Display wird ausgeschaltet.

3. Ziehen Sie den Gerätestecker aus der Steckdose, um das Gerät vom Netz zu trennen.

TEMPERATURREGELUNG

Die Temperatur des Kühlschranks lässt sich durch Drücken des Temperaturreglers einstellen. Stellen Sie die Standardtemperatur ein: +5 °C für den Kühlschrank. Die Temperaturanzeige zeigt die eingestellte Temperatur.

Die eingestellte Temperatur wird innerhalb von 24 Stunden erreicht.

Wichtig! Nach einem Stromausfall bleibt die eingestellte Temperatur gespeichert.

FUNKTION SHOPPING

Wenn Sie zum Beispiel nach einem Einkauf größere Mengen warmer Lebensmittel einlegen möchten, empfehlen wir die Funktion Shopping einzuschalten, um die Produkte schneller zu kühlen und zu vermeiden, dass die bereits im Kühlschrank befindlichen Lebensmittel erwärmt werden. Zum Einschalten der Funktion:

1. Drücken Sie die Taste Mode, bis das entsprechende Symbol angezeigt wird. Die Anzeige Shopping blinkt.

2. Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung die Taste OK. Die Anzeige Shopping leuchtet.

Die Funktion Shopping wird nach etwa 6 Stunden automatisch abgeschaltet. Zum Ausschalten der Funktion vor ihrer automatischen Abschaltung:

1. Drücken Sie die Taste Mode, bis die Anzeige Shopping blinkt.

2. Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung die Taste OK.

3. Die Anzeige Shopping erlischt.

Wichtig! Die Funktion wird durch die Auswahl einer anderen Temperatur für den Kühlraum ausgeschaltet.

ACTION FREEZE-FUNKTION

Zum Einschalten der Funktion:

1. Drücken Sie die Taste Mode, bis das entsprechende Symbol angezeigt wird. Die Anzeige Action Freeze blinkt.

2. Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung die Taste OK. Die Anzeige Action Freeze leuchtet.

Diese Funktion endet automatisch nach 52 Stunden.

Zum Ausschalten der Funktion vor ihrer automatischen Abschaltung:

1. Drücken Sie die Taste Mode, bis die Anzeige Action Freeze blinkt.

2. Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung die Taste OK.

3. Die Anzeige Action Freeze erlischt.

Wichtig! Die Funktion wird durch die Auswahl einer anderen Gefriertemperatur ausgeschaltet.

DRINKS CHILL FUNKTION

Mit der Funktion Drinks Chill Minute Minder lässt sich ein Alarmton einstellen, der zu der gewünschten Zeit ertönt. Dies ist zum Beispiel praktisch, wenn ein Gericht eine gewisse Zeit abkühlen muss oder Sie die Flaschen, die Sie für eine schnellere Kühlung in den Gefrierraum gelegt haben, nicht vergessen möchten. Zum Einschalten der Funktion:

1. Drücken Sie die Taste Mode, bis das entsprechende Symbol angezeigt wird. Die Anzeige Drinks Chill blinkt. Der Timer zeigt den eingestellten Wert (30 Minuten) ein paar Sekunden lang an.

2. Drücken Sie die Einstelltaste des Timers, um den eingestellten Wert des Timers auf 1 bis 90 Minuten zu ändern.

3. Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung die Taste OK. Die Anzeige Drinks Chill leuchtet. Der Timer beginnt zu blinken (min).

Nach Ablauf des Countdowns blinkt die Anzeige Drinks Chill und es ertönt ein Alarmsignal:

1. Entnehmen Sie die Getränke aus dem Gefrierraum.

2. Schalten Sie den Alarmton und die Funktion mit der Taste OK aus.

Diese Funktion kann während des Countdowns jederzeit ausgeschaltet werden:

1. Drücken Sie die Taste Mode, bis die Anzeige Drinks Chill blinkt.

2. Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung die Taste OK.

3. Die Anzeige Drinks Chill erlischt.

Die Zeit kann während des Countdowns geändert werden, indem Sie die Tasten zur Erhöhung und Verringerung der Temperatur drücken.

FUNKTION KINDERSICHERUNG

Wählen Sie die Kindersicherung, um die Tasten gegen eine unbeabsichtigte Betätigung zu verriegeln. Zum Einschalten der Funktion:

1. Drücken Sie die Taste Mode, bis das entsprechende Symbol angezeigt wird.

2. Die Anzeige „Kindersicherung“ blinkt.

3. Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung die Taste OK. Die Anzeige „Kindersicherung“ leuchtet.

Zum Ausschalten der Funktion:

1. Drücken Sie die Taste Mode, bis die Anzeige „Kindersicherung“ blinkt.

2. Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung die Taste OK.

3. Die Anzeige „Kindersicherung“ erlischt.

ALARM „TÜR OFFEN“

Es ertönt ein Alarmsignal, wenn die Tür einige Minuten lang offen steht. Der Alarm „Tür offen“ wird wie folgt angezeigt:

• blinkende Alarmanzeige

• akustisches Signal

Sobald der Normalzustand wiederhergestellt ist (Tür geschlossen), wird der Alarm deaktiviert. In der Alarmphase kann das akustische Alarmsignal durch Drücken einer beliebigen Taste ausgeschaltet werden.

ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME

REINIGEN DES INNENRAUMS

Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, beseitigen Sie den typischen „Neugeruch“ am besten durch Reinigen der Innenteile mit lauwarmem Wasser und einer neutralen Seife. Sorgfältig nachtrocknen.

Wichtig! Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungsmittel oder Scheuerpulver, da hierdurch die Oberfläche beschädigt wird.

Wenn “dEMo” auf dem Display angezeigt wird, befindet sich das Gerät im Demo-Modus. Schlagen Sie dazu bitte unter „Was tun, wenn...“ nach.

TÄGLICHER GEBRAUCH

VERSTELLBARE ABLAGEN/EINSÄTZE

Die Wände des Kühlschranks sind mit einer Anzahl von Führungsschienen ausgestattet, die verschiedene Möglichkeiten für das Einsetzen der Ablagen bieten. Zur besseren Raumnutzung können die vorderen Halbteile der Ablagen auf die rückwärtigen hinaufgelegt werden.

POSITIONIERUNG DER TÜRABLAGEN

Die Türablagen können in verschiedener Höhe positioniert werden, wodurch das Lagern verschieden großer Lebensmittelpackungen ermöglicht wird. Bitte nehmen Sie die Einstellungen wie folgt vor: Ziehen Sie die Ablage langsam in Pfeilrichtung, bis sie sich herausheben lässt, und setzen Sie sie dann nach Wunsch wieder ein.

KOHLEFILTER

Das Gerät ist mit einem Kohlefilter hinter einer Klappe in der Rückwand des Kühlraums ausgerüstet. Der Filter reinigt die Luft von unerwünschten Gerüchen im Kühlraum und im Fach NaturaFresh 0°C und verbessert so die Lagerungsqualität.

Wichtig! Die Lüftungsklappe muss während des Betriebs stets geschlossen sein.

EINFRIEREN FRISCHER LEBENSMITTEL

Der Gefrierraum eignet sich zum Einfrieren von frischen Lebensmitteln und zum Lagern von gefrorenen und tiefgefrorenen Lebensmitteln für einen längeren Zeitraum. Um frische Lebensmittel einzufrieren, schalten Sie bitte die Action freeze-Funktion min-

destens 24 Stunden, bevor Sie die einzufrierenden Lebensmittel in das Gefrierfach legen, ein. Die maximale Menge an Lebensmitteln, die in 24 Stunden eingefroren werden kann, ist auf dem Typenschild angegeben; eine Plakette befindet sich im Innern des Geräts. Der Gefriervorgang dauert 24 Stunden. Legen Sie während dieses Zeitraums keine weiteren einzufrierenden Lebensmittel in den Gefrierraum. Stellen Sie nach Abschluss des Gefriervorgangs wieder die gewünschte Temperatur ein (siehe „Action freeze-Funktion“).

AUFTAUEN

Tiefgefrorene oder gefrorene Lebensmittel können vor der Verwendung je nach der zur Verfügung stehenden Zeit im Kühlschrank oder bei Raumtemperatur aufgetaut werden. Kleinere Gefriergutteile können unter Umständen sogar direkt aus dem Gefrierschrank entnommen und anschließend sofort gekocht oder gegart werden: in diesem Fall dauert der Garvorgang allerdings etwas länger.

LAGERUNG GEFRORENER PRODUKTE

Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme oder nach einer Zeit, in der das Gerät nicht benutzt wurde, mindestens zwei Stunden lang auf den höheren Einstellungen laufen, bevor Sie Lebensmittel in das Gefrierfach hinein legen.

Wichtig! Kam es zum Beispiel durch einen Stromausfall, der länger dauerte als der in der Tabelle mit den technischen Daten angegebene Wert (siehe "Ausfalldauer") zu einem ungewollten Abtauen, dann müssen die aufgetauten Lebensmittel sehr rasch verbraucht oder sofort gekocht und (nach dem Abkühlen) erneut eingefroren werden.

NATURAFRESH 0°C FACH

Im Naturafresh 0°C Fach wird die Temperatur automatisch geregelt. Sie bleibt konstant auf ca. 0 °C, es ist keine Einstellung erforderlich. Die konstante Lagertemperatur von ca. 0 °C und die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit zwischen 45 und 90 % bieten optimale Lager-

bedingungen für die verschiedensten Labensmittel.

Wichtig!

Daher können Sie eine Vielzahl frischer Lebensmittel im Naturafresh 0°C Fach lagern. Diese halten dreimal länger und weisen eine bessere Qualität im Vergleich zu einem normalen Kühlfach auf. Auf diese Weise können Sie mehr frische Lebensmittel einlagern. Der Geschmack, Frischegrad und die Nährstoffe (Vitamine und Mineralien) bleiben gut erhalten. Das Gemüse und Obst verlieren weniger Gewicht. Die Lebensmittel behalten ihren Nährwert besser.

Wichtig!

Das Naturafresh 0°C Fach eignet sich auch zum Auftauen von Lebensmitteln. In diesem Fall können die aufgetauten Lebensmittel bis zu zwei Tage aufbewahrt werden.

FEUCHTIGKEITSREGULIERUNG

Beide Schubladen können je nach den gewünschten Lagereigenschaften unabhängig von einander mit niedriger oder höherer Feuchtigkeit genutzt werden. Die Feuchtigkeit kann für jede Schublade über die Schieberegler an der Vorderseite der Schublade separat geregelt werden.

• „Trocken“: niedrige Luftfeuchtigkeit - bis

zu 50 % relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit Dieser Feuchtigkeitsgrad wird erreicht, wenn beide Schieberegler auf diese Position gestellt und die Lüftungsschlitze ganz geöffnet sind.

• „Feucht“: hohe relative Luftfeuchtigkeit -

bis zu 90 % Dieser Feuchtigkeitsgrad wird erreicht, wenn beide Schieberegler auf diese Position gestellt und die Lüftungsschlitze geschlossen sind. Die Feuchtigkeit wird eingeschlossen und kann nicht entweichen.

Wichtig!

Der Grad der Luftfeuchtigkeit in den Schubladen hängt vom Feuchtigkeitsgehalt der gelagerten Lebensmittel, des Gemüses und Obsts und davon ab, wie häufig die Tür geöffnet wird. Das NaturaFresh 0°C Fach eignet sich auch zum langsamen Auftauen von Lebensmitteln. In diesem Fall können die aufgetauten Lebensmittel bis zu zwei Tage lang im NaturaFresh 0°C Fach aufbewahrt werden.

• Achten Sie auf die Frische der Lebensmittel, insbesondere auf das Haltbarkeits-

datum. Qualität und Frische wirken sich auf die Aufbewahrungsdauer aus.

• Die Gesamtaufbewahrungsdauer hängt von den Aufbewahrungsbedingungen vor der endgültigen Lagerung im Kühlschrank ab.

• Lebensmittel, Obst oder Gemüse müssen vor der Einlagerung immer in Behälter oder Folie verpackt werden.

• Tiernahrung ist immer verpackt und trocken zu lagern.

• Proteinreiche Lebensmittel verderben schneller. So verderben Meeresfrüchte schneller als Fisch und dieser schneller als Fleisch. In einem NaturaFresh 0°C Fach lässt sich diese Art von Lebensmitteln bis zu dreimal länger und ohne Qualitätsverlust lagern.

• Alle in einem NaturaFresh 0°C Fach gelagerten Lebensmittel sind ca. 15-30 Minuten vor dem Verzehr aus der Schublade zu nehmen. Dies gilt insbesondere für Obst und Gemüse, das ohne weiteres Kochen verzehrt werden soll. Nehmen Obst und Gemüse wieder Raumtemperatur an, verbessern sich Textur und Geschmack.

SCHUBLADE

Die Metalleinsätze in den Schubladen ermöglichen die freie Luftzirkulation und damit

eine verbesserte Frischhaltung der Lebensmittel. Das Fach hat Anschläge, die ein Herausfallen der Schublade verhindern, wenn sie ganz herausgezogen wird. Um die Schubladen (z.B. zum Reinigen) herauszunehmen, diese bis zu den Anschlägen herausziehen, anheben und aus dem Gerät nehmen. .

PRAKTISCHE TIPPS UND HINWEISE

• Öffnen Sie die Tür nicht zu häufig, und lassen Sie diese nicht länger offen als unbedingt notwendig.

• Wenn die Umgebungstemperatur hoch ist und der Temperaturregler auf eine niedrige Temperatur eingestellt und das Gerät voll beladen ist, kann es zu andauerndem Betrieb des Kompressors und damit zu Reif- oder Eisbildung am Verdampfer kommen. Milchflaschen: bitte bewahren Sie Milchflaschen stets mit Deckel im Flaschenregal in der Tür auf. Bananen, Kartoffeln, Zwiebeln und Knoblauch sollten nicht im Kühlschrank aufbewahrt werden, außer diese sind dafür speziell verpackt.

HINWEISE ZUM EINFRIEREN

Im Folgenden finden Sie einige wertvolle Tipps für einen optimalen Gefriervorgang:

• die maximale Menge an Lebensmitteln, die innerhalb von 24 Stunden eingefroren werden kann. ist auf dem Typschild angegeben;

• der Gefriervorgang dauert 24 Stunden. Legen Sie während dieses Zeitraums keine weiteren einzufrierenden Lebensmittel in das Gefrierfach;

• frieren Sie ausschließlich frische und gründlich gewaschene Lebensmittel von sehr guter Qualität ein;

• teilen Sie die Lebensmittel in kleinere Portionen ein, damit diese schnell und vollständig gefrieren und Sie später nur die Menge auftauen müssen, die Sie gerade benötigen;

• die einzufrierenden Lebensmittelportionen sollten stets luftdicht in Aluminiumfo-

lie oder in lebensmittelechte Gefrierbeutel verpackt werden, um so wenig Luft wie möglich in der Verpackung zu haben;

• achten Sie beim Hineinlegen von frischen, noch ungefrorenen Lebensmitteln darauf, dass diese keinen Kontakt mit Gefriergut bekommen, da dieses sonst antauen kann;

• weniger fetthaltige Lebensmittel lassen sich besser lagern als fetthaltigere; Salz verkürzt die Lagerzeit von Lebensmitteln im Gefrierfach;

• werden Gefrierwürfel direkt nach der Entnahme aus dem Gefrierfach verwendet, können Sie zu Frostbrand auf der Haut führen;

• es empfiehlt sich, das Einfrierdatum auf jeder einzelnen Packung zu notieren, um einen genauen Überblick über die Lagerzeit zu haben.

HINWEISE ZUR LAGERUNG GEFRORENER PRODUKTE

So erzielen Sie die besten Ergebnisse mit Ihrem Gerät:

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die gefrorenen Lebensmittel vom Händler angemessen gelagert wurden.

• Achten Sie unbedingt darauf, die eingekauften gefrorenen Lebensmittel in der kürzest möglichen Zeit in das Gefriergerät zu bringen.

• Öffnen Sie die Tür nicht zu häufig, und lassen Sie die Tür nicht länger offen als notwendig.

• Aufgetaute Lebensmittel verderben sehr schnell und eignen sich nicht für ein erneutes Einfrieren.

• Das Haltbarkeitsdatum auf der Tiefkühlkostverpackung darf nicht überschritten werden.

REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE

Vorsicht! Ziehen Sie bitte vor jeder Reinigungsarbeit immer den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

Der Kältekreis des Gerätes enthält Kohlenwasserstoffe; Wartungsarbeiten und Nachfüllen von Kältemittel dürfen daher nur durch vom Hersteller autorisiertes Fachpersonal ausgeführt werden.

REGELMÄSSIGE REINIGUNG

Der gesamte Kühlschrank muss regelmäßig gereinigt werden:

• Reinigen Sie die Innenseiten und die Zubehörteile mit lauwarmem Wasser und etwas Neutralseife.

• Prüfen und säubern Sie die Türdichtungen in regelmäßigen Abständen und kon-

trollieren Sie, dass diese sauber und frei von Verunreinigungen sind.

• Spülen und trocknen Sie diese sorgfältig ab.

Wichtig! Ziehen Sie nicht an Leitungen und/oder Kabeln im Innern des Kühlschranks und achten Sie darauf, diese nicht zu verschieben oder zu beschädigen. Benutzen Sie zur Reinigung des Innenraums keinesfalls Putzmittel, Scheuerpulver, stark parfümierte Reinigungsmittel oder Wachspolituren, da diese die Oberfläche des Innenraums beschädigen und einen starken Eigengeruch hinterlassen können.

Reinigen Sie den Kondensator (schwarzes Gitter) und den Motorkompressor auf der Geräterückseite mit einer Bürste oder einem Staubsauger. Dadurch verbessert sich die Leistung des Geräts und es verbraucht weniger Strom. Die unterste Ablage, die das Kühlfach vom NaturaFresh 0°C Fach abtrennt, sollte nur für Reinigungszwecke entfernt werden. Zie-

hen Sie die Ablage gerade aus dem Gerät heraus. Die Abdeckplatten über den Schubladen im Fach können zu Reinigungszwecken herausgenommen werden.

Wichtig!

Damit die volle Funktionalität des NaturaFresh 0°C Fachs gewährleistet ist, müssen die unterste Ablage und die Abdeckplatten nach der Reinigung wieder in ihre ursprüngliche Position eingesetzt werden.

Wichtig! Bitte achten Sie darauf, das Kühlsystem nicht zu beschädigen.

Viele Haushaltsreiniger für Küchen enthalten Chemikalien, die den im Gerät verwendeten Kunststoff angreifen können. Aus diesem Grund ist es empfehlenswert, das Gerät außen nur mit warmem Wasser und etwas flüssigem Tellerspülmittel zu reinigen. Schließen Sie das Gerät nach der Reinigung wieder an die Netzversorgung an.

WECHSELN DES KOHLEFILTERS

ABTAUEN DES KÜHLSCHRANKS

Das Abtauen des Kühlschranks erfolgt automatisch. Das dabei entstehende Wasser fließt in eine Schale am Kompressor und verdampft dort. Diese Schale kann nicht entfernt werden.

ABTAUEN DES GEFRIERFACHES

Im Innern des Gefrierfachs wird sich stets etwas Reif bilden.

Wichtig! Tauen Sie das Gefrierfach ab, wenn die Reifschicht eine Stärke von etwa 3 bis 5 mm erreicht hat.

Entfernen Sie den Reif wie nachstehend erläutert:

1. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus.

2. Nehmen Sie das gesamte Gefriergut

heraus, verpacken Sie es in mehrere Schichten Zeitungspapier und lagern Sie es an einem kühlen Ort.

3. Öffnen Sie die Tür.

Der Aktivkohle-Filter trägt dazu bei, die Gerüche im Innern des Kühlschranks zu reduzieren. Dadurch wird eine Übertragung unerwünschter Aromen auf empfindliche Lebensmittel eingeschränkt. Die beste Leistung des Aktivkohle-Filters wird erzielt, wenn Sie den Filter einmal jährlich wechseln. Neue Aktivkohle-Filter erhalten Sie bei Ihrem Händler vor Ort.

• Der Luftfilter befindet sich hinter einer Klappe (1) und ist nach Aufklappen derselben zugänglich.

• Ziehen Sie den verbrauchten Filter aus dem Schlitz.

• Setzen Sie den neuen Luftfilter in den Schlitz (2) ein.

• Schließen Sie die Klappe.

Bei dem Luftfilter handelt es sich um Verbrauchsmaterial, das nicht unter die Garantie fällt.

Wichtig!

Die Lüftungsklappe muss während des Betriebs stets geschlossen sein. Behandeln Sie den Luftfilter sehr vorsichtig, da die Oberfläche leicht verkratzt.

4. Wenn das Gefrierfach vollständig abgetaut ist, wischen Sie das Fachinnere sorgfältig trocken.

5. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein.

6. Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler auf eine höhere Einstellung, um die maximal mögliche Kühlung zu erreichen, und lassen Sie das Gerät zwei bis drei Stunden mit dieser Einstellung laufen.

7. Legen Sie die ausgelagerten Lebensmittel wieder in das Fach hinein.

Warnung! Verwenden Sie niemals scharfe Gegenstände zum Entfernen von Reif und Eis vom Verdampfer, da dieser dadurch beschädigt werden könnte. Benutzen Sie keine mechanischen oder sonstigen Hilfsmittel, um den Abtauprozess zu beschleunigen; halten Sie sich dazu ausschließlich an die Angaben des Geräteherstellers. Ein Temperaturanstieg des Gefrierguts während des Abtauens des Gerätes kann die Lagerzeit dieser Lebensmittel verkürzen.

• Évitez une exposition prolongée de l'appareil aux rayons solaires.

• Les ampoules (si présentes) utilisées dans cet appareil sont des ampoules spécifiques uniquement destinées à être

utilisées sur des appareils ménagers. Elles ne sont pas du tout adaptées à un éclairage quelconque d'une habitation.

UTILISATION QUOTIDIENNE

• Ne posez pas d'éléments chauds sur les parties en plastique de l'appareil.

• Ne stockez pas de gaz ou de liquides inflammables dans l'appareil (risque d'explosion).

• Ne placez pas d'aliments directement contre la sortie d'air sur la paroi arrière de l'appareil. (Si l'appareil est sans givre.)

• Un produit décongelé ne doit jamais être recongelé.

• Conservez les aliments emballés conformément aux instructions de leur fabricant.

• Respectez scrupuleusement les conseils de conservation donnés par le fabricant de l'appareil. Consultez les instructions respectives.

• Ne mettez pas de bouteilles ni de boîtes de boissons gazeuses dans le compartiment congélateur, car la pression se formant à l'intérieur du contenant pourrait le faire éclater et endommager ainsi l'appareil.

• Ne consommez pas certains produits tels que les bâtonnets glacés dès leur sortie de l'appareil, car ils peuvent provoquer des brûlures.

ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE

• Avant toute opération d'entretien, mettez l'appareil hors tension et débranchez-le de la prise de courant.

• N'utilisez pas d'objets métalliques pour nettoyer l'appareil.

• N'utilisez pas d'objet tranchant pour gratter la couche de givre. Utilisez une spatule en plastique.

• Contrôlez régulièrement l'orifice d'évacuation de l'eau de dégivrage dans le compartiment réfrigérateur. Nettoyez-le, si besoin. Si l'orifice est bouché, l'eau s'écoulera en bas de l'appareil.

INSTALLATION Important Avant de procéder au

branchement électrique, respectez scrupuleusement les instructions fournies dans cette notice.

• Déballez l'appareil et vérifiez qu'il n'est pas endommagé. Ne branchez pas l'appareil s'il est endommagé. Signalez immédiatement au revendeur de l'appareil les dommages constatés. Dans ce cas, gardez l'emballage.

• Il est conseillé d'attendre au moins quatre heures avant de brancher l'appareil pour que le circuit frigorifique soit stabilisé.

• Veillez à ce que l'air circule librement autour de l'appareil pour éviter qu'il ne surchauffe. Pour assurer une ventilation suffisante, respectez les instructions de la notice (chapitre Installation).

• Placez l'appareil dos au mur pour éviter tout contact avec le compresseur et le condenseur (risque de brûlure).

• Placez de préférence votre appareil loin d'une source de chaleur (chauffage, cuisson ou rayons solaires trop intenses).

• Assurez-vous que la prise murale reste accessible après l'installation de l'appareil.

• Branchez à l'alimentation en eau potable uniquement. (Si un branchement sur le réseau d'eau est prévu.)

MAINTENANCE

• Les branchements électriques nécessaires à l'entretien de l'appareil doivent être réalisés par un électricien qualifié ou une personne compétente.

• Cet appareil ne doit être entretenu et réparé que par un Service après-vente autorisé, exclusivement avec des pièces d'origine.

PROTECTION DE L'ENVIRONNEMENT

Le système frigorifique et l'isolation de votre appareil ne contiennent pas de C.F.C. contribuant ainsi à préserver l'environnement. L'appareil ne doit pas être mis au rebut avec les ordures ménagères et les déchets urbains. La mousse d'isolation contient des gaz inflammables : l'appareil sera mis au rebut conformément aux règlements applicables disponibles auprès des autorités locales. Veillez à ne pas détériorer les circuits frigorifiques, notamment au niveau du condenseur. Les matériaux utilisés dans cet appareil identifiés par

MISE EN FONCTIONNEMENT

Pour mettre en fonctionnement l'appareil, procédez comme suit :

1. Branchez l'appareil sur le secteur.

2. Appuyez sur la touche ON/OFF si l'écran est éteint.

3. Si "dEMo" s'affiche, l'appareil est en mode démonstration. Reportez-vous au paragraphe « En cas d'anomalie de fonctionnement ».

4. Les voyants du thermostat indiquent la température programmée par défaut.

Pour sélectionner une température de consigne différente, reportez-vous au paragraphe « Réglage de la température ».

MISE À L'ARRÊT

Pour mettre à l'arrêt l'appareil, procédez comme suit :

1. Appuyez sur la touche ON/OFF pendant 5 secondes.

2. L'affichage est désactivé.

3. Pour mettre l'appareil hors tension, débranchez-le électriquement.

RÉGLAGE DE LA TEMPÉRATURE

La température de consigne du réfrigérateur est réglée en appuyant sur la touche de température. Température par défaut : + 5 °C dans le compartiment réfrigérateur. L'indicateur de température indique la température programmée.

La température programmée sera atteinte sous 24 heures.

Important Après une coupure de courant, la température programmée reste activée.

FONCTION SHOPPING

Si vous devez ranger une grande quantité d'aliments dans votre réfrigérateur, par exemple après avoir fait vos courses, nous vous suggérons d'activer la fonction Shopping : elle permet de refroidir rapidement les aliments tout en évitant le réchauffement des denrées déjà stockées dans le réfrigérateur. Pour activer la fonction :

1. Appuyez sur la touche Mode jusqu'à ce que le voyant correspondant apparaisse. L'indicateur Shopping clignote.

2. Appuyez sur la touche OK pour confirmer. L'indicateur Shopping s'affiche.

La fonction Shopping se désactive automatiquement au bout d'environ 6 heures. Pour désactiver la fonction avant sa désactivation automatique :

1. Appuyez sur la touche Mode jusqu'à ce que l'indicateur Shopping clignote.

2. Appuyez sur la touche OK pour confirmer.

3. L'indicateur Shopping s'éteint.

Important La fonction se désactive en sélectionnant une température de consigne différente.

FONCTION ACTION FREEZE

Pour activer la fonction :

1. Appuyez sur la touche Mode jusqu'à ce que le symbole correspondant apparaisse. Le voyant Action Freeze clignote.

Cette fonction se met à l'arrêt automatiquement au bout de 52 heures. Pour désactiver la fonction avant sa désactivation automatique :

2. Appuyez sur le bouton OK pour confirmer.

3. Le voyant Action Freeze s'éteint.

Important La fonction se désactive en sélectionnant une température programmée différente.

FONCTION DRINKS CHILL

La fonction Drinks Chill Minute Minder doit être utilisée pour le réglage d'une alarme sonore à une heure désirée, ce qui est utile, par exemple, lorsque l'on souhaite refroidir une préparation pendant un certain temps dans le cadre d'une recette de cuisine, ou lorsque l'on refroidit des bouteilles rapidement dans le congélateur. Pour activer la fonction :

1. Appuyez sur la touche Modejusqu'à ce que le symbole correspondant apparaisse. Le voyant Drinks Chill clignote. La minuterie affiche pendant quelques secondes la valeur programmée (30 minutes).

2. Appuyez sur la touche de réglage de la minuterie pour modifier la valeur de consigne (1 à 90 minutes).

3. Appuyez sur la touche OKpour confirmer. Le voyant Drinks Chill s'affiche. La minuterie se met à clignoter (min).

À la fin du décompte, le voyant Drinks Chillclignote et un signal sonore retentit :

1. Retirez les boissons placées dans le compartiment de congélation.

2. Appuyez sur la touche OK pour arrêter le signal sonore et désactiver la fonction.

Il est possible de désactiver cette fonction à tout moment pendant le décompte :

1. Appuyez sur la touche Modejusqu'à ce que le voyant Drinks Chill clignote.

2. Appuyez sur la touche OKpour confirmer.

3. Le voyant Drinks Chill s'éteint.

Il est possible de modifier l'heure pendant et à la fin du décompte en appuyant sur la touche « Plus de froid » ou sur la touche « Moins de froid ».

FONCTION SÉCURITÉ ENFANTS

Pour verrouiller les touches afin de prévenir les erreurs de manipulation, sélectionnez la fonction Sécurité enfants. Pour activer la fonction :

1. Appuyez sur la touche Mode jusqu'à ce que le symbole correspondant apparaisse.

2. Le voyant Sécurité enfants clignote.

3. Appuyez sur la touche OK pour confirmation. Le voyant Sécurité enfants apparaît.

Pour désactiver la fonction :

1. Appuyez sur la touche Mode jusqu'à ce que le voyant Sécurité enfants clignote.

2. Appuyez sur la touche OK pour confirmation.

3. Le voyant Sécurité enfants s'éteint.

ALARME PORTE OUVERTE

Une alarme sonore se déclenche si la porte reste ouverte pendant quelques minutes. Les conditions d'alarme porte ouverte sont indiquées par :

• Un voyant d'alarme clignotant

• Une alarme sonore.

Au rétablissement des conditions normales (porte fermée), l'alarme s'arrête. Pendant la phase d'alarme, l'alarme sonore peut être désactivée en appuyant sur une touche quelconque.

PREMIÈRE UTILISATION

NETTOYER L'INTÉRIEUR

Avant d'utiliser l'appareil pour la première fois, nettoyez l'intérieur et tous les accessoires avec de l'eau tiède et un savon ino-

dore (produit utilisé pour la vaisselle) puis séchez soigneusement.

Important N'utilisez jamais de produits abrasifs ou caustiques, ni d'éponges avec grattoir pour procéder au nettoyage intérieur et extérieur de votre appareil.

UTILISATION QUOTIDIENNE

CLAYETTES AMOVIBLES

Les parois du réfrigérateur sont équipées d'une série de glissières pour que les clayettes puissent être placées en fonction des besoins. Pour exploiter au mieux l'espace, vous pouvez placer les demi-clayettes avant au dessus des clayettes arrière.

EMPLACEMENT DES BALCONNETS DE LA PORTE

Selon la taille des emballages des aliments conservés, les balconnets de la porte peuvent être positionnés à différentes hauteurs. Pour les ajuster, procédez comme suit : tirez progressivement le balconnet dans le sens des flèches pour le dégager, puis repositionnez-le selon les besoins.

Si “dEMo” s'affiche, l'appareil est en mode démonstration : reportez-vous au paragraphe « EN CAS D'ANOMALIE DE FONCTIONNEMENT ».

FILTRE À CHARBON

Votre appareil est équipé d'un filtre à charbon situé derrière un volet se trouvant sur la paroi arrière du compartiment réfrigérateur. Le filtre purifie l'air en éliminant les odeurs des aliments dans le réfrigérateur et le compartiment NaturaFresh 0°C, ce qui améliore la qualité de leur conservation.

Important Pendant le fonctionnement, veillez à toujours laisser le volet d'aération fermé.

CONGÉLATION D'ALIMENTS FRAIS

Le compartiment congélateur est idéal pour congeler des denrées fraîches et conserver

à long terme des aliments surgelés ou congelés. Activez la fonction Action freeze 24 heures au moins avant d'introduire les denrées fraîches à congeler dans le compartiment congélateur. La quantité maximale de denrées fraîches que vous pouvez congeler par tranche de 24 heures est indiquée sur la plaque si- gnalétique (située à l'intérieur de l'appareil). Le processus de congélation prend 24 heures : vous ne devez ajouter aucune autre denrée à congeler au cours de cette période. Une fois le processus de congélation terminé, revenez à la température souhaitée (voir « Fonction Action freeze »).

LA DÉCONGÉLATION

Les aliments surgelés ou congelés peuvent être décongelés dans le compartiment réfrigérateur ou à température ambiante, avant d'être utilisés, en fonction du temps disponible pour cette opération. Les petites pièces peuvent même être cuites sans décongélation préalable : dans ce cas, la cuisson est plus longue.

CONSERVATION DES ALIMENTS CONGELÉS

À la mise en service ou après un arrêt prolongé, placez le thermostat sur la position Max pendant 2 heures environ, avant d'introduire les produits dans le compartiment.

Important En cas de dégivrage accidentel, dû par exemple à une panne de courant, si la panne doit se prolonger plus longtemps qu'il n'est indiqué à la rubrique "temps d'augmentation" dans la section Caractéristiques techniques, consommez les aliments décongelés le plus rapidement possible ou recongelez-les après les avoir cuits (une fois refroidis).

COMPARTIMENT NATURAFRESH 0°C

Dans le compartiment Naturafresh 0°C, la température est contrôlée automatiquement. Elle avoisine constamment 0 °C, aucun réglage n'est nécessaire. La température de conservation qui avoisine constamment 0 °C et l'humidité relative comprise entre 45 et 90 °C créent les con-

ditions optimales pour les divers types d'aliments.

Important

Vous pouvez donc stocker divers aliments dans le compartiment Naturafresh 0°C , où ils se conserveront 3 fois plus longtemps et dans de meilleures conditions qu'avec un compartiment réfrigérateur classique. Vous pouvez donc stocker davantage d'aliments frais. Le goût, la fraîcheur, la qualité et les valeurs nutritives (vitamines et minéraux) sont bien préservés. La perte de poids des légumes et des fruits diminue. Les aliments conservent des valeurs nutritives supérieures.

Important

Le compartiment Naturafresh 0°C est également adapté à la décongélation. Dans ce cas, les aliments décongelés peuvent être conservés jusqu'à deux jours.

CONTRÔLE DE L'HUMIDITÉ

Les deux bacs peuvent s'utiliser suivant les conditions de conservation souhaitées indépendamment l'un de l'autre avec un niveau d'humidité plus ou moins élevé. Les bacs se règlent séparément et se contrôlent par les vannes situées à l'avant des bacs.

• « Sec » : faible humidité - humidité relati-

ve jusqu'à 50 %. Ce niveau d'humidité est atteint lorsque les deux glissières sont réglées en position et que les orifices d'aération sont complètement ouverts.

• « Humide » : humidité relative élevée, jus-

Le niveau d'humidité dans l'air des bacs dépend de l'humidité contenue dans les aliments, les légumes et les fruits stockés ainsi que de la fréquence avec laquelle la porte est ouverte. Le compartiment NaturaFresh 0°C est également adapté pour décongeler lentement des aliments. Dans ce cas, les aliments décongelés peuvent être conservés dans le compartiment NaturaFresh 0°C jusqu'à deux jours.

Conseils :

• Faites attention à la fraîcheur des aliments, particulièrement à l'approche de la date de péremption. La qualité et la fraîcheur influencent la durée de conservation.

• La durée du cycle complet de conservation dépend des conditions de conservation observées avant le stockage final au réfrigérateur.

• Les aliments, les fruits ou les légumes doivent toujours être emballés ou enveloppés avant leur conservation.

• La nourriture pour animaux doit toujours être conservée emballée et au sec.

• Les aliments riches en protéines se détériorent plus rapidement. Les fruits de mer se conservent donc moins longtemps que le poisson, qui se conserve moins longtemps que la viande. Lorsque des aliments sont conservés dans un compartiment NaturaFresh 0°C , leur durée de conservation peut être multipliée par trois sans que la qualité ne soit pour autant compromise.

• Tous les aliments conservés dans un compartiment NaturaFresh 0°C doivent être sortis des bacs environ 15 à 30 min. avant d'être consommés, particulièrement les fruits et les légumes destinés à être consommés crus. Afin d'améliorer la texture et la saveur des fruits et des légumes, il est nécessaire de les laisser revenir à température ambiante.

TIROIR

Les clayettes à fil à l'intérieur des tiroirs permettent que l'air circule librement et par conséquent une meilleure conservation des aliments.

CONSEILS UTILES

CONSEILS POUR L'ÉCONOMIE D'ÉNERGIE

• N'ouvrez pas la porte trop souvent ou plus longtemps que nécessaire.

• Si la température ambiante est élevée, le dispositif de réglage de température est sur la position de froid maximum et l'appareil est plein : il est possible que le compresseur fonctionne en régime continu, d'où un risque de formation excessive de givre sur l'évaporateur. Pour éviter ceci, modifiez la position du dispositif de réglage de température de façon à obtenir des périodes d'arrêt du compresseur et ainsi permettre un dégivrage automatique, d'où des économies d'énergie.

CONSEILS POUR LA RÉFRIGÉRATION DE DENRÉES FRAÎCHES

Pour obtenir les meilleures performances possibles :

CONSEILS POUR LA RÉFRIGÉRATION

Conseils utiles : Viande (tous les types) : enveloppez-la dans des sachets en plastique et placez-la sur la tablette en verre au-dessus du bac à légumes. La période de conservation est de 1 à 2 jours au maximum. Aliments cuits, plats froids, etc. : placez-les bien couverts sur une clayette. CONSEILS POUR LA CONGÉLATION

Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats, voici quelques conseils importants :

• la quantité maximale de denrées que vous pouvez congeler par 24 heures est indiquée sur la plaque signalétique.

• le temps de congélation est de 24 heures. Aucune autre denrée à congeler ne doit être ajoutée pendant cette période.

• congelez seulement les denrées alimentaires fraîches, de qualité supérieure (une fois nettoyées).

• préparez la nourriture en petits paquets pour une congélation rapide et uniforme, adaptés à l'importance de la consommation.

• enveloppez les aliments dans des feuilles d'aluminium ou de polyéthylène et assurez-vous que les emballages sont étanches ;

• ne laissez pas des aliments frais, non congelés, toucher des aliments déjà congelés pour éviter une remontée en température de ces derniers.

• les aliments maigres se conservent mieux et plus longtemps que les aliments gras ; le sel réduit la durée de conservation des aliments

• la température très basse à laquelle se trouvent les bâtonnets glacés, s'ils sont consommés dès leur sortie du compartiment congélateur, peut provoquer des brûlures.

• L'identification des emballages est importante : indiquez la date de congélation du produit, et respectez la durée de conservation indiquée par le fabricant.

CONSEILS POUR LA CONSERVATION DES PRODUITS SURGELÉS ET CONGELÉS DU COMMERCE

Pour une bonne conservation des produits surgelés et congelés, vous devez :

• vous assurer qu'ils ont bien été conservés au magasin ;

•prévoir un temps réduit au minimum pour leur transport du magasin d'alimentation à votre domicile ;

• éviter d'ouvrir trop souvent la porte du congélateur et ne la laisser ouverte que le temps nécessaire.

• une fois décongelés, les aliments se détériorent rapidement et ne peuvent pas être recongelés.

• respecter la durée de conservation indiquée par le fabricant.

ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE

Attention débrancher l'appareil avant toute opération d'entretien.

Cet appareil contient des hydrocarbures dans son circuit réfrigérant : l'entretien et la recharge ne doivent donc être effectués que par du personnel autorisé.

NETTOYAGE PÉRIODIQUE

Cet appareil doit être nettoyé régulièrement :

• nettoyez l'intérieur et tous les accessoires avec de l'eau tiède savonneuse.

• vérifiez régulièrement les joints de porte et nettoyez-les en les essuyant pour éviter toute accumulation de déchets.

• rincez et séchez soigneusement.

Important Ne pas tirer, déplacer ou endommager les tuyaux et/ou câbles qui se trouvent à l'intérieur de l'appareil. N'utilisez jamais de détergents, de poudres abrasives, de produits de nettoyage très parfumés ou de produits caustiques pour nettoyer l'intérieur de l'appareil car cela risque d'endommager la surface et de laisser une forte odeur.

Nettoyez le condenseur (grille noire) et le compresseur situés à l'arrière de l'appareil avec une brosse. Cette opération améliore les performances de l'appareil et permet des économies d'énergie. La clayette la plus basse, qui sépare le compartiment réfrigérateur du compartiment NaturaFresh 0°C ne doit être sortie

qu'en vue de son nettoyage. Pour la sortir, tirez tout droit la clayette. Les caches situés au-dessus des tiroirs du compartiment peuvent être retirés au moment du nettoyage.

Important

Pour garantir la complète fonctionnalité du compartiment NaturaFresh 0°C , la clayette inférieure et les couvercles doivent être remis dans leur position d'origine après nettoyage.

Important Attention à ne pas endommager le système de réfrigération.

REMPLACEMENT DU FILTRE À CHARBON

DÉGIVRAGE DU COMPARTIMENT RÉFRIGÉRATEUR

Le dégivrage du compartiment réfrigérateur est automatique. L'eau qui se forme s'écoule vers un réservoir situé sur le compresseur puis s'évapore. Ce réservoir ne peut pas être démonté.

De nombreux détergents pour la cuisine recommandés par les fabricants contiennent des produits chimiques qui peuvent attaquer/endommager les pièces en plastique utilisées dans cet appareil. Il est par conséquent recommandé d'utiliser seulement de l'eau chaude additionnée d'un peu de savon liquide pour nettoyer la carrosserie de l'appareil. Après le nettoyage, rebranchez l'appareil.

Le filtre à charbon réduit les odeurs à l'intérieur du compartiment réfrigérateur et évite qu'elles n'imprègnent les aliments sensibles Pour obtenir les meilleures performances possibles, il est recommandé de changer le filtre à charbon une fois par an. Vous pouvez vous procurer ces filtres auprès de votre distributeur local.

• Le filtre est placé derrière le volet. Il est accessible par l'ouverture du volet (1).

• Sortez le filtre usagé du compartiment dans lequel il est engagé.

• Insérez le nouveau filtre dans la fente (2).

• Fermez le volet.

Le filtre à air étant un accessoire consommable, il n'est pas couvert par la garantie.

Important

Pendant le fonctionnement, veillez à toujours laisser le volet d'aération fermé. Manipulez le filtre avec précaution afin d'éviter d'endommager sa surface.

DÉGIVRAGE DU COMPARTIMENT CONGÉLATEUR

Une certaine quantité de givre se forme toujours autour du compartiment supérieur.

Important Dégivrez le compartiment congélateur lorsque l'épaisseur de la couche de givre est d'environ 3-5 mm.

Pour enlever le givre, suivez les instructions ci-dessous :

1. Mettez l'appareil à l'arrêt.

2. Sortez les denrées congelées, enveloppez celles-ci dans plusieurs feuilles de papier journal et conservez-les dans un endroit frais.

3. Ouvrez la porte.

4. Le dégivrage terminé, épongez et séchez bien l'intérieur.

5. Mettez l'appareil en fonctionnement.

6. Réglez le thermostat pour obtenir plus de froid et faites fonctionner l'appareil pendant deux ou trois heures en utilisant ce réglage.

7. Replacez les produits surgelés ou congelés dans le compartiment.

Avertissement N'utilisez en aucun cas de couteau ou tout autre objet tranchant, d'objet métallique pour gratter la couche de givre, vous risquez de détériorer irrémédiablement l'évaporateur. N'utilisez aucun autre dispositif mécanique ou moyen artificiel

que ceux qui sont recommandés par le fabricant pour accélérer le dégivrage de votre appareil. Une élévation de la température des denrées congelées, pendant la décongélation, peut réduire leur durée de conservation.

EN CAS D'ABSENCE PROLONGÉE OU DE NON-UTILISATION

Prenez les précautions suivantes :

• débranchez l'appareil

• retirez tous les aliments

• dégivrez si nécessaire et nettoyez l'appareil ainsi que tous les accessoires

• laissez la porte/les portes entrouverte(s) pour prévenir la formation d'odeurs désagréables.

Contrôlez, avant de brancher l'appareil, si la tension et la fréquence indiquées sur la plaque signalétique correspondent à celles de votre réseau. L'appareil doit être relié à la terre. La fiche du câble d'alimentation comporte un logement pour mise à la terre. USO QUOTIDIANO

• Non collocare pentole calde sulle parti in plastica dell'apparecchio.

• Non collocare gas e liquidi infiammabili nell'apparecchio, perché potrebbero esplodere.

• Evitare di appoggiare gli alimenti contro la presa d'aria situata nella parete posteriore (per le apparecchiature di tipo no-frost)

• Gli alimenti congelati non devono essere ricongelati una volta scongelati.

• Riporre gli alimenti surgelati preconfezionati secondo le istruzioni del produttore dell'alimento surgelato.

• Osservare rigorosamente i consigli per la conservazione degli alimenti del produttore dell'apparecchio. Vedere le relative istruzioni.

• Non collocare bevande gassate o frizzanti nello scomparto congelatore perché creano pressione sul recipiente che può esplodere danneggiando l'apparecchio.

• I ghiaccioli possono provocare bruciature da gelo se consumati immediatamente dopo averli tolti dall'apparecchio.

PULIZIA E CURA

• Prima della manutenzione, spegnere l'apparecchio e staccare la spina dalla presa.

• Non pulire l'apparecchio con oggetti metallici.

• Non usare oggetti appuntiti per rimuovere la brina dall'apparecchio. Usare un raschietto di plastica.

• Esaminare regolarmente il foro di scarico dell'acqua di sbrinamento nel frigorifero. Se necessario, pulirlo. Se il foro è otturato, l'acqua si raccoglie sul fondo dell'apparecchio.

INSTALLAZIONE Importante Per il collegamento elettrico,

seguire attentamente le istruzioni dei paragrafi corrispondenti.

• Disimballare l'apparecchio e assicurarsi che non presenti danni. Non collegare l'apparecchio se è danneggiato. Segnalare immediatamente gli eventuali danni al negozio in cui è stato acquistato. In questo caso conservare l'imballaggio.

• Si consiglia di attendere almeno due ore prima di collegare l'apparecchio per consentire all'olio di arrivare nel compressore.

• Attorno all'apparecchio vi deve essere un'adeguata circolazione dell'aria, altrimenti si può surriscaldare. Per ottenere una ventilazione sufficiente seguire le istruzioni di installazione.

• Se possibile il retro dell'apparecchio dovrebbe essere posizionato contro una parete per evitare di toccare le parti calde o di rimanervi impigliati (compressore, condensatore), evitando così possibili scottature.

• L'apparecchio non deve essere posto vicino a radiatori o piani di cottura a gas.

• Installare l'apparecchio in modo che la presa rimanga accessibile.

• Collegare solo a sorgenti d'acqua potabile (se è previsto un collegamento alla rete idrica).

ACCENSIONE

Per accendere l'apparecchiatura procedere come segue:

1. Inserire la spina nella presa di alimentazione.

2. Premere il tasto ON/OFF se il display è spento.

3. Se "dEMo" appare sul display, l'apparecchiatura si trova in modalità dimostrazione. Fare riferimento al paragrafo "Cosa fare se...".

4. Gli indicatori di temperatura visualizzano la temperatura impostata predefinita.

Per selezionare una temperatura diversa, consultare la sezione "Regolazione della temperatura".

SPEGNIMENTO

Per spegnere l'apparecchiatura, procedere come segue:

1. Premere il tasto ON/OFF per 5 secondi.

2. Il display si spegne.

3. Per scollegare l’apparecchiatura dalla corrente elettrica, staccare la spina dalla presa di alimentazione.

REGOLAZIONE DELLA TEMPERATURA

È possibile regolare la temperatura impostata del frigorifero, premendo il tasto temperatura. Impostare la temperatura predefinita: +5°C per il frigorifero. Gli indicatori della temperatura visualizzano la temperatura impostata.

La temperatura impostata verrà raggiunta entro 24 ore.

Importante Dopo un'interruzione di corrente la temperatura impostata rimane in memoria.

FUNZIONESHOPPING

Se occorre inserire una grande quantità di alimenti nel frigorifero, per esempio al ritorno dalla spesa, è consigliabile attivare la funzione Shopping per raffreddare più rapidamente gli alimenti introdotti nel frigorifero e non far intiepidire i cibi già presenti al suo interno. Per attivare la funzione:

1. Premere il tasto Mode finché non appare l'icona corrispondente. L'indicatore Shopping lampeggia.

2. Premere il tasto OK per confermare. La spia Shopping viene visualizzata.

La funzione Shopping si disattiva automaticamente dopo circa 6 ore. Per disattivare la funzione prima dello spegnimento automatico:

1. Premere il tasto Mode fino a quando la spia Shopping lampeggia.

2. Premere il tasto OK per confermare.

3. La spia Shopping si spegne.

Importante La funzione si disattiva selezionando un'impostazione di temperatura per il frigorifero diversa.

FUNZIONEACTION FREEZE

Per attivare la funzione:

1. Premere il tasto Mode finché non appare l'icona corrispondente. L'indicatore Action Freeze lampeggia.

2. Premere il tasto OK per confermare. La spia Action Freeze viene visualizzata.

Questa funzione si interrompe in modo automatico dopo 52 ore. Per disattivare la funzione prima dello spegnimento automatico:

FUNZIONEDRINKS CHILL

La funzione Drinks Chill Minute Minder deve essere usata per impostare un segnale acustico in un preciso momento, utile per esempio quando una ricetta richiede il raffreddamento di alimenti misti per un certo periodo di tempo o quando è necessario un promemoria per non dimenticare le bottiglie messe in frigorifero per un raffreddamento rapido. Per attivare la funzione:

1. Premere il tasto Mode finché non appare l'icona corrispondente. L'indicatore Drinks Chill lampeggia. Il timer visualizza il valore impostato (30 minuti) per alcuni secondi.

2. Premere il tasto Regolatore timer per modificare il valore impostato da 1 a 90 minuti.

3. Premere il tasto OK per confermare. La spia Drinks Chill viene visualizzata. Il Timer inizia a lampeggiare (min).

Al termine del conto alla rovescia la spia Drinks Chill lampeggia e viene emesso un segnale acustico:

1. Estrarre le eventuali bevande dal vano congelatore.

2. Premere il tasto OK per spegnere il segnale acustico e porre fine alla funzione.

È possibile disattivare la funzione in qualsiasi momento durante il conto alla rovescia:

1. Premere il tasto Mode fino a quando la spia Drinks Chill lampeggia.

2. Premere il tasto OK per confermare.

3. La spia Drinks Chill si spegne.

È possibile modificare l'ora in qualsiasi momento e prima della fine premendo il tasto Raffreddamento Temperatura ed il tasto Riscaldamento Temperatura.

FUNZIONE SICUREZZA BAMBINI

Per evitare che i tasti vengano premuti accidentalmente, selezionare la funzione Sicurezza Bambini. Per attivare la funzione:

1. Premere il tasto Mode fino a quando non appare l'icona corrispondente.

2. L'indicatore Sicurezza Bambini lampeggia.

3. Premere il tasto OK per confermare. Viene visualizzato l'indicatore Sicurezza Bambini.

Per disattivare la funzione:

1. Premere il tasto Mode fino a quando l'indicatore Sicurezza Bambini non lampeggia.

2. Premere il tasto OK per confermare.

3. L'indicatore Sicurezza Bambini si spegne.

ALLARME PORTA APERTA

Se la porta è lasciata aperta per alcuni minuti, viene emesso un segnale acustico. Le condizioni di allarme della porta aperta sono indicate da:

• indicatore allarme lampeggiante

• segnale acustico

Al ripristino delle condizioni normali (porta chiusa), l'allarme si interrompe. Durante l'allarme, il segnale acustico può essere disattivato premendo qualsiasi tasto.

PRIMO UTILIZZO

PULIZIA DELL'INTERNO

Prima di utilizzare l'apparecchiatura per la prima volta, lavare l'interno e gli accessori con acqua tiepida e sapone neutro per eliminare il tipico odore dei prodotti nuovi, quindi asciugare accuratamente.

Importante Non usare detergenti corrosivi o polveri abrasive che possano danneggiare la finitura.

Se “dEMo” appare sul display, l'apparecchiatura si trova in modalità dimostrazione: fare riferimento al paragrafo “COSA FARE SE…”.

UTILIZZO QUOTIDIANO

RIPIANI MOBILI

Le pareti del frigorifero sono equipaggiate con una serie di guide che permettono di collocare i ripiani nella posizione desiderata. Per un migliore sfruttamento dello spazio, i semiripiani anteriori possono essere collocati sopra a quelli posteriori.

POSIZIONAMENTO DEI RIPIANI DELLA PORTA

Per facilitare l'introduzione di alimenti di diverse dimensioni, i ripiani della porta possono essere posizionati ad altezze differenti. Per regolare l'altezza, procedere come segue: tirare delicatamente il ripiano nella direzione indicata dalle frecce fino a sganciarlo, quindi riposizionarlo dove necessario.

FILTRO DELL'ARIA AL CARBONE

L'apparecchiatura è dotata di un filtro al carbone posizionato dietro un flap nella parete posteriore del vano frigorifero. Il filtro purifica l'aria eliminando gli odori sgradevoli nel vano del frigorifero e NaturaFresh 0°C migliorando ulteriormente la qualità di conservazione.

Importante Durante il funzionamento, tenere sempre chiuso il flap di ventilazione aria.

CONGELAZIONE DEI CIBI FRESCHI

Il vano congelatore è adatto alla congelazione di cibi freschi e alla conservazione a lungo termine di alimenti congelati e surgelati. Per congelare alimenti freschi, attivare la funzione Action freeze almeno 24 ore prima di introdurli nel vano congelatore. La quantità massima di alimenti congelabile in 24 ore è riportata sulla targhetta, un'etichetta presente sulle pareti interne dell'apparecchiatura. Il processo di congelamento dura 24 ore: finché non è concluso, non aggiungere altro cibo da congelare. Al termine del processo di congelamento, ritornare alla temperatura richiesta (vedere "FunzioneAction freeze " ).

SCONGELAMENTO

Prima dell'utilizzo, i cibi surgelati o congelati possono essere scongelati nel vano frigorifero o a temperatura ambiente, in funzione del tempo disponibile per questa operazione. I pezzi piccoli possono addirittura essere cucinati ancora congelati, direttamente dal congelatore: in questo caso la cottura durerà più a lungo.

CONSERVAZIONE DEI SURGELATI

Al primo avvio o dopo un periodo di non utilizzo, lasciare in funzione l'apparecchiatura per almeno 2 ore con una regolazione alta prima di introdurre gli alimenti.

Importante Se si verifica un'interruzione della corrente elettrica di durata superiore al "tempo di salita" indicato nella tabella dei dati tecnici, il cibo scongelato deve essere consumato rapidamente o cucinato immediatamente e quindi ricongelato (dopo il raffreddamento).

NATURAFRESH 0°C SCOMPARTO

Nello scomparto Naturafresh 0°C la temperatura viene controllata automaticamente. Resta costantemente a circa 0 °C e non richiede regolazioni. La temperatura di conservazione costante di circa 0 °C e l'umidità relativa compresa tra il 45 e il 90% forniscono condizioni ottimali per i vari tipi di alimenti.

Importante

E' possibile, pertanto, conservare diversi alimenti freschi nello scomparto Naturafresh 0°C , dove dureranno almeno il triplo del tempo con una qualità superiore rispetto a quella dei normali scomparti del frigorifero. Ciò consente di conservare una maggiore quantità di alimenti freschi. Il sapore, il grado di freschezza, la qualità e i valori nutrizionali (vitamine e sali minerali) vengono ben mantenuti. Il calo ponderale di frutta e verdura si riduce e gli alimenti apportano un maggiore valore nutrizionale.

Importante

Lo scomparto Naturafresh 0°Cè anche idoneo allo scongelamento degli alimenti. In questo caso gli alimenti scongelati possono essere conservati fino a due giorni.

CONTROLLO DELL'UMIDITÀ

Entrambi i cassetti possono essere utilizzati in base alle condizioni di conservazione desiderate, in modo reciprocamente indipendente riguardo al livello di umidità. Ciascun cassetto viene regolato separatamente e il controllo viene effettuato utilizzando il dispositivo di scorrimento che si trova sulla parte anteriore del cassetto.

Il comparto ha dei fermi che impediscono ai cassetti di cadere quando vengono completamente aperti. Per estrarre i cassetti (ad esempio per la pulizia), tirarli fuori fino al raggiungimento dei fermi, quindi sollevarli ed estrarli. .

CONSIGLI E SUGGERIMENTI UTILI

CONSIGLI PER IL RISPARMIO ENERGETICO

• Non aprire frequentemente la porta e non lasciarla aperta più di quanto assolutamente necessario.

• Se la temperatura ambiente è elevata, il termostato è impostato su una regolazione alta e l'apparecchio è a pieno carico, il compressore può funzionare in continuo causando la formazione di brina o ghiaccio sull'evaporatore. In questo caso, ruotare il termostato su una regolazione più bassa per consentire lo scongelamento automatico risparmiando così energia.

CONSIGLI PER LA REFRIGERAZIONE DI CIBI FRESCHI

Per ottenere i migliori risultati:

• non riporre nel frigorifero cibi caldi o liquidi in fase di evaporazione

• coprire o avvolgere il cibo, in particolare se emana un odore forte

• posizionare il cibo in modo che l'aria possa circolare liberamente attorno ad esso

CONSIGLI PER LA REFRIGERAZIONE

Consigli utili: Carne (tutti i tipi): avvolgerla in sacchetti di politene e collocarla sul ripiano di vetro sopra il cassetto delle verdure.

Per motivi di sicurezza, conservarla in queste condizioni solo per uno o due giorni al massimo. Cibi cucinati, piatti freddi ecc..: dovrebbero essere coperti e possono essere collocati su qualsiasi ripiano. Frutta e verdura: dovrebbero essere pulite accuratamente e collocate nell'apposito/i cassetto/i speciale/i. Burro e formaggio: dovrebbero essere posti in contenitori ermetici speciali o avvolti in pellicole di alluminio o sacchetti di politene per escludere per quanto possibile l'aria. Bottiglie di latte: dovrebbero essere tappate e conservate nell'apposito ripiano sulla porta. Non conservare nel frigorifero banane, patate, cipolle o aglio se non sono confezionati.

CONSIGLI PER IL CONGELAMENTO

Per un processo di congelamento ottimale, ecco alcuni consigli importanti:

• la quantità massima di cibo che può essere congelata in 24 h è riportata sulla targhetta;

• il processo di congelamento dura 24 ore. In questo periodo non aggiungere altro cibo da congelare;

• congelare solo alimenti freschi, di ottima qualità e accuratamente puliti;

• preparare il cibo in piccole porzioni per consentire un congelamento rapido e completo e per scongelare in seguito solo la quantità necessaria;

• avvolgere il cibo in pellicole di alluminio o in politene e verificare che i pacchetti siano ermetici;

• non lasciare che cibo fresco non congelato entri in contatto con quello già congelato, per evitare un aumento della temperatura in quest'ultimo;

• i cibi magri si conservano meglio e più a lungo di quelli grassi; il sale riduce il periodo di conservazione del cibo;

• i ghiaccioli, se consumati immediatamente dopo la rimozione dal vano congelatore, possono causare ustioni da congelamento della pelle;

• si consiglia di riportare la data di congelamento su ogni singolo pacchetto per riu-

PULIZIA E CURA

Attenzione Staccare la spina dell'apparecchio prima di eseguire lavori di manutenzione.

Questo apparecchio contiene idrocarburi nell'unità di raffreddamento; la manutenzione e la ricarica devono pertanto essere effettuate esclusivamente da tecnici autorizzati.

PULIZIA PERIODICA

L'apparecchiatura deve essere pulita regolarmente:

• lavare l'interno e gli accessori con acqua tiepida e sapone neutro.

• ispezionare regolarmente le guarnizioni della porta ed eliminare con un panno umido tracce di sporco e residui.

• risciacquare e asciugare accuratamente.

Importante Evitare di tirare, spostare o danneggiare tubi e/o cavi all'interno dell'apparecchiatura. Per la pulizia delle parti interne, non usare mai detergenti, polveri abrasive, prodotti con forti profumazioni o cere lucidanti, che potrebbero danneggiare la superficie e lasciare un odore intenso.

Il ripiano inferiore, che divide il vano frigorifero dal vano NaturaFresh 0°C, può essere estratto unicamente a scopo di pulizia. Per rimuovere il ripiano, estrarlo tenendolo in posizione orizzontale. Le piastre di copertura al di sopra dei cassetti nello scomparto possono essere estratte per la pulizia.

Importante

Per garantire una funzionalità completa del vano NaturaFresh 0°C, il ripiano inferiore e le piastre di copertura devono essere ricollocati nella loro posizione originale dopo la pulizia.

Importante Prestare attenzione a non danneggiare il sistema refrigerante.

Molti detergenti per cucine di marca contengono sostanze chimiche in grado di attaccare/danneggiare la plastica impiegata in questo apparecchio. Per questo motivo si raccomanda di pulire l'involucro esterno dell'apparecchio solo con acqua calda con un po' di liquido detergente. Dopo la pulizia, ricollegare l'apparecchio alla rete di alimentazione.

SOSTITUZIONE DEL FILTRO AL CARBONE

SBRINAMENTO DEL VANO FRIGORIFERO

Lo sbrinamento del comparto frigorifero è automatico. L'acqua che si forma in tal modo scorre in un recipiente sul compressore e poi evapora. Tale recipiente non può essere rimosso.

SBRINAMENTO DEL CONGELATORE

È normale che intorno allo scomparto superiore si formi, con il tempo, uno strato di brina.

Importante Quando tale strato raggiunge uno spessore di ca. 3-5 mm, il vano congelatore deve essere sbrinato.

Procedere come segue:

1. Spegnere l'apparecchio.

2. Rimuovere i surgelati, avvolgerli in alcuni strati di carta di giornale e riporli in un luogo fresco.

3. Aprire la porta.

4. Una volta completato lo sbrinamento, asciugare accuratamente l'interno.

5. Accendere l'apparecchio.

Il filtro a carbone contribuisce a ridurre gli odori all'interno del frigorifero limitando il rischio che gli alimenti sensibili all'assorbimento acquisiscano aromi indesiderati. Per garantire il massimo rendimento, sostituire il filtro a carbone una volta all'anno. I filtri di ricambio possono essere acquistati presso il distributore di zona.

• Il filtro dell'aria viene collocato dietro al flap e può essere raggiunto tirando il flap verso l'esterno (1)

• estrarre dall'alloggiamento il filtro dell'aria consumato.

• inserire nella fessura il filtro di ricambio (2).

• chiudere il flap.

Il filtro dell'aria è un materiale di consumo e come tale non è coperto da garanzia.

Importante

Durante il funzionamento, tenere sempre chiuso il flap di ventilazione aria. Il filtro dell'aria deve essere manipolato con cautela per evitare di graffiarne la superficie.

6. Impostare il regolatore di temperatura al livello di massimo raffreddamento e lasciare in funzione l'apparecchio per due o tre ore.

7. Reintrodurre nel congelatore gli alimenti precedentemente rimossi.

Avvertenza! Per rimuovere la brina dall'evaporatore, non usare utensili metallici appuntiti che possano danneggiarlo. Non usare dispositivi elettrici o altri mezzi artificiali non raccomandati dal produttore allo scopo di accelerare il processo di sbrinamento. Un innalzamento della temperatura dei surgelati durante lo sbrinamento può ridurre la loro durata di conservazione.

PERIODI DI INUTILIZZO

Quando l'apparecchio non è utilizzato per lunghi periodi, adottare le seguenti precauzioni:

GENERAL SAFETY

• The appliance is intended for keeping foodstuff and/or beverages in a normal household as explained in this instruction booklet.

• Do not use other electrical appliances (such as ice cream makers) inside of refrigerating appliances, unless they are approved for this purpose by the manufacturer.

• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.

• The refrigerant isobutane (R600a) is contained within the refrigerant circuit of the appliance, a natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, which is nevertheless flammable. During transportation and installation of the appliance, be certain that none of the components of the refrigerant circuit become damaged. If the refrigerant circuit should become damaged:

DAILY USE

• Do not put hot pot on the plastic parts in the appliance.

• Do not store flammable gas and liquid in the appliance, because they may explode.

• Do not place food products directly against the air outlet on the rear wall. (If the appliance is Frost Free)

• Frozen food must not be re-frozen once it has been thawed out.

• Store pre-packed frozen food in accordance with the frozen food manufacturer's instructions.

• Appliance's manufacturers storage recommendations should be strictly adhered to. Refer to relevant instructions.

• Do not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the freezer compartment as it creates pressure on the container, which may cause it to explode, resulting in damage to the appliance.

• Ice lollies can cause frost burns if consumed straight from the appliance.

CARE AND CLEANING

• Before maintenance, switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.

• Do not clean the appliance with metal objects.

• Do not use sharp objects to remove frost from the appliance. Use a plastic scraper.

• Regularly examine the drain in the refrigerator for defrosted water. If necessary, clean the drain. If the drain is blocked, water will collect in the bottom of the appliance.

INSTALLATION Important! For electrical connection

• Unpack the appliance and check if there are damages on it. Do not connect the appliance if it is damaged. Report possible damages immediately to the place you bought it. In that case retain packing.

• It is advisable to wait at least four hours before connecting the appliance to allow the oil to flow back in the compressor.

• Adequate air circulation should be around the appliance, lacking this leads to overheating. To achieve sufficient ventilation follow the instructions relevant to installation.

• Wherever possible the back of the product should be against a wall to avoid touching or catching warm parts (compressor, condenser) to prevent possible burn.

• The appliance must not be located close to radiators or cookers.

• Make sure that the mains plug is accessible after the installation of the appliance.

• Connect to potable water supply only (If a water connection is foreseen).

SERVICE

• Any electrical work required to do the servicing of the appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person.

• This product must be serviced by an authorized Service Centre, and only genuine spare parts must be used.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

This appliance does not contain gasses which could damage the ozone layer,

To switch on the appliance do these steps:

3. If "dEMo" appears on the display, the appliance is in demonstration mode. Refer to "What to do if..." paragraph.

4. The temperature indicators show the set default temperature.

To select a different set temperature refer to "Temperature regulation".

SWITCHING OFF

To switch off the appliance do these steps:

1. Press the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds.

2. The display switches off.

3. To disconnect the appliance from the power disconnect the mains plug from the power socket.

TEMPERATURE REGULATION

The set temperature of the fridge may be adjusted by pressing the temperature button. Set default temperature: +5°C for the fridge. The temperature indicator shows the set temperature. The set temperature will be reached within 24 hours.

Important! After a power failure the set temperature remains stored.

SHOPPING FUNCTION

If you need to insert a large amount of warm food, for example after doing the grocery shopping, we suggest activating the Shopping function to chill the products more rapidly and to avoid warming the other food which is already in the refrigerator. To switch on the function:

1. Press the Mode button until the corresponding icon appears. The Shopping indicator flashes.

2. Press the OK button to confirm. The Shopping indicator is shown.

The Shopping function shuts off automatically after approximately 6 hours. To switch off the function before its automatic end:

1. Press the Mode button until the Shopping indicator flashes.

2. Press the OK button to confirm.

3. The Shopping indicator goes off.

Important! The function switches off by selecting a different fridge set temperature.

ACTION FREEZE FUNCTION

To switch on the function:

1. Press the Mode button until the corresponding icon appears. The Action Freeze indicator flashes.

2. Press the OK button to confirm. The Action Freeze indicator is shown.

This function stops automatically after 52 hours. To switch off the function before its automatic end:

1. Press the Mode button until the Action Freeze indicator flashes.

2. Press the OK button to confirm.

3. The Action Freeze indicator goes off.

Important! The function switches off by selecting a different freezer set temperature.

DRINKS CHILL FUNCTION

The Drinks Chill Minute Minder function is to be used to set an acoustic alarm at the preferred time, useful for example when a recipe requires to cool down a mixture for a certain period of time, or when a reminder is needed in order not to forget the bottles placed in the freezer for fast cooling. To switch on the function:

1. Press the Mode button until the corresponding icon appears. The Drinks Chill indicator flashes. The Timer shows the set value (30 minutes) for a few seconds.

2. Press the Timer regulator button to change the Timer set value from 1 to 90 minutes.

3. Press the OK button to confirm. The Drinks Chill indicator is shown. The Timer start to flash (min).

At the end of the countdown the Drinks Chill indicator flashes and an audible alarm sounds:

1. Remove any drinks contained in the freezer compartment.

2. Press OK button to switch off the sound and terminate the function.

It is possible to deactivate the function at any time during the countdown:

1. Press the Mode button until the Drinks Chill indicator flashes.

2. Press the OK button to confirm.

3. The Drinks Chill indicator goes off. It is possible to change the time during the countdown and at the end by pressing the Temperature colder button and the Temperature warmer button.

CHILD LOCK FUNCTION

To lock the buttons from unintentional operation select the Child Lock function. To switch on the function:

1. Press the Mode button until the corresponding icon appears.

2. The Child Lock indicator flashes.

3. Press the OK button to confirm. The Child Lock indicator is shown.

FIRST USE

CLEANING THE INTERIOR

Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and all internal accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap so as to remove the typical smell of a brand-new product, then dry thoroughly.

Important! Do not use detergents or abrasive powders, as these will damage the finish.

To switch off the function:

1. Press the Mode button until the Child Lock indicator flashes.

2. Press the OK button to confirm.

3. The Child Lock indicator goes off.

DOOR OPEN ALARM

An acoustic alarm will sound if the door is left open for a few minutes. The door open alarm conditions are indicated by:

When normal conditions are restored (door closed), the alarm will stop. During the alarm, the buzzer can be switched off by pressing any button.

If “dEMo” appears on the Display, the appliance is in demonstration mode: refer to “WHAT TO DO IF...” paragraph.

DAILY USE

MOVABLE SHELVES

The walls of the refrigerator are equipped with a series of runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired. For better use of space, the front halfshelves can lie over the rear ones.

POSITIONING THE DOOR SHELVES

To permit storage of food packages of various sizes, the door shelves can be placed at different heights.

To make these adjustments proceed as follow: gradually pull the shelf in the direction of the arrows until it comes free, then reposition as required.

CARBON AIR FILTER

Your appliance is equipped with a carbon filter behind a flap in the rear wall of the fridge compartment. The filter purifies the air from unwanted odours in the fridge and NaturaFresh 0°C compartment meaning that the storage quality will be further improved.

Important! During the operation, always keep the air ventilation flap closed.

plate, a label located on the inside of the appliance. The freezing process lasts 24 hours: during this period do not add other food to be frozen. When the freezing process is completed, return to the required temperature (see "Action freeze Function").

THAWING

Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to being used, can be thawed in the refrigerator compartment or at room temperature, depending on the time available for this operation. Small pieces may even be cooked still frozen, directly from the freezer: in this case, cooking will take longer.

STORAGE OF FROZEN FOOD

When first starting-up or after a period out of use, before putting the products in the compartment let the appliance run at least 2 hours on the higher settings.

Important! In the event of accidental defrosting, for example due to a power failure, if the power has been off for longer than the value shown in the technical characteristics chart under "rising time", the defrosted food must be consumed quickly or cooked immediately and then re-frozen (after cooling).

FREEZING FRESH FOOD

The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing fresh food and storing frozen and deep-frozen food for a long time. To freeze fresh food activate the Action freeze function at least 24 hours before placing the food to be frozen in the freezer compartment. The maximum amount of food that can be frozen in 24 hours is specified on the rating

NATURAFRESH 0°C COMPARTMENT

In the Naturafresh 0°C compartment the temperature is controlled automatically. It stays constantly at about 0°C, no adjustment is necessary. The constant storage temperature of about 0°C and the relative humidity of between 45 and 90 % provide optimal conditions for the various kinds of food.

Important!

You can therefore store a variety of fresh food in the Naturafresh 0°C compartment, where it will last up to 3 times longer with better quality compared to normal refrigerator compartments. This allows you to stock more fresh food. Taste, degree of freshness, quality and nutritional values (vitamins and minerals) are well preserved. Loss of

weight in vegetables and fruit diminishes. Food yields a higher degree of nutritional value.

Important!

The Naturafresh 0°C compartment is also suitable for defrosting food. In this case the thawed food can be stored up to two days.

Tips:

• Pay attention to the freshness of the food, especially on the expiry date. Quality and freshness influence the storage time.

• The whole storage cycle time will depend on the preservation conditions made prior to the final storage in the fridge.

• Food, fruit or vegetables should always be packed or wrapped up before storage.

• Animal food always store packed and dry.

• Food rich in proteins will go bad quicker. This means seafood will spoil before fish which in turn will spoil before meat. While storing food in a NaturaFresh 0°C compartment storage time for that kind of food can be increased by up to three times as well without loss on quality.

• All food stored in a NaturaFresh 0°C compartment should be taken out of the

drawers roughly 15-30 min before consumption, particularly fruit and vegetables to be consumed without any additional cooking process. Allowing fruit and vegetables to return to room temperature will improve the texture and flavour.

DRAWER

The wire shelves inside the drawers permit that air can circulate freely and consequently a better conservation of foods. The compartment has stops to prevent the drawers from falling out when fully extended. To remove the drawers (e.g. for cleaning purposes), pull them out as far as the stops, lift and extract.

Useful hints: Meat (all types) : wrap in polythene bags and place on the glass shelf above the vegetable drawer. For safety, store in this way only one or two days at the most. Cooked foods, cold dishes, etc..: these should be covered and may be placed on any shelf. Fruit and vegetables: these should be thoroughly cleaned and placed in the special drawer(s) provided. Butter and cheese: these should be placed in special airtight containers or wrapped in aluminium foil or polythene bags to exclude as much air as possible. Milk bottles: these should have a cap and should be stored in the bottle rack on the door. Bananas, potatoes, onions and garlic, if not packed, must not be kept in the refrigerator.

HINTS FOR FREEZING

To help you make the most of the freezing process, here are some important hints:

• the maximum quantity of food which can be frozen in 24 hrs. is shown on the rating plate;

• the freezing process takes 24 hours. No further food to be frozen should be added during this period;

• only freeze top quality, fresh and thoroughly cleaned, foodstuffs;

• prepare food in small portions to enable it to be rapidly and completely frozen and to make it possible subsequently to thaw only the quantity required;

• wrap up the food in aluminium foil or polythene and make sure that the packages are airtight;

• do not allow fresh, unfrozen food to touch food which is already frozen, thus avoiding a rise in temperature of the latter;

• lean foods store better and longer than fatty ones; salt reduces the storage life of food;

• water ices, if consumed immediately after removal from the freezer compartment, can possibly cause the skin to be freeze burnt;

• it is advisable to show the freezing in date on each individual pack to enable you to keep tab of the storage time.

HINTS FOR STORAGE OF FROZEN FOOD

To obtain the best performance from this appliance, you should:

• make sure that the commercially frozen foodstuffs were adequately stored by the retailer;

• be sure that frozen foodstuffs are transferred from the foodstore to the freezer in the shortest possible time;

• not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than absolutely necessary;

• once defrosted, food deteriorates rapidly and cannot be refrozen;

• do not exceed the storage period indicated by the food manufacturer.

PERIODIC CLEANING

The equipment has to be cleaned regularly:

• clean the inside and accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap.

• regularly check the door seals and wipe clean to ensure they are clean and free from debris.

Clean the condenser (black grill) and the compressor at the back of the appliance with a brush. This operation will improve the performance of the appliance and save electricity consumption. The lowest shelf, dividing the cooler compartment from the NaturaFresh 0°C compartment can be removed only for cleaning. To remove pull out the shelf straight. The cover plates above the drawers in the compartment can be taken out for cleaning.

REPLACING THE CARBON FILTER

DEFROSTING OF THE REFRIGERATOR

Defrosting of the fridge compartment is automatic. The water that forms flows into a recipient on the compressor and evaporates. This recipient cannot be removed.

DEFROSTING THE FREEZER

A certain amount of frost will always form around the top compartment.

Important! Defrost the freezer when the frost layer reaches a thickness of about 3-5 mm.

Many proprietary kitchen surface cleaners contain chemicals that can attack/damage the plastics used in this appliance. For this reason it is recommended that the outer casing of this appliance is only cleaned with warm water with a little washing-up liquid added. After cleaning, reconnect the equipment to the mains supply.

The carbon filter helps to reduce the odors inside the fridge limiting the risk of unwanted aroma in sensitive food. To get the best performance the carbon filter should be changed once every year. New active air filters can be purchased from your local dealer.

To remove the frost, do these steps:

1. Switch off the appliance.

2. Remove any stored food, wrap it in several layers of newspaper and put it in a cool place.

3. Open the door.

4. When defrosting is completed, dry the interior thoroughly.

5. Switch on the appliance.

6. Set the temperature regulator to obtain the maximum coldness and run the appliance for two or three hours using this setting.
