The Electrolux 900-Thermaline of cooking equipment is designed for the very heavy duty requirements of hotels, institutions, hospitals, central kitchens, in-flight kitchens and cruise ships. The series consist of a wide choice of modular elements that can be installed as individual, free-standing units or assembled into a complete cooking suite made virtually seamless by means of cleverly-designed connecting rails. The models detailed on this sheet combine a large surface induction boiling top mounted on a base unit. Models are available for operation from one side only or from both sides to suit a central cooking island. Installation options are floor mounted on 100 or 200 mm high feet or a plinth which can be either steel or masonry construction.
EASY TO USE
• Glass ceramic cooking surface with four independently controlled heating zones.
• The large surface induction top offers a substantial increase in capacity with a seamless transition between individual heating zones, ideal for à la carte operation.
• Each cooking zone has two coils.
• Almost the entire surface of the ceramic plate can be used without 'dead' spots.
• A magnetic field induces an eddy current in a cooking pan of ferromagnetic material, heating it up directly.
• Fast deployment with full heating power immediately.
• Low heat dissipation to the kitchen.
• Power can be set steplessly with progressive output i.e. fine regulation at the lower and larger progress at the upper levels.
• Pans can be moved from one appliance to another without lifting.
• It can be supplied on an open or on a passthru base.
• Thick steel base plate for the even temperature distribution and storage.
• Optional base plate with a fire clay element provides a very uniform distribution and long term storage of the oven heat; it is beneficial for sensitive patisserie.
• Convenient operation with highly visible control panels and knobs.
• All appliances conform to ruling European safety and hygiene standards and are H marked.

EASY TO MAINTAIN
• The smooth, glass ceramic plate is not directly heated, so there is no burning on the cooking surface.
• Body, cupboard and support are made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
• No gaps or dirt traps between adjoining appliances when connecting rails are fitted.
• All major components may be easily accessed from the front.
• The appliances are IP X5 certified against water jets.
• Hygienic design of the open base compartment with large round edges.
• If an error occours in the appliance, it will be displayed by pulsation of the green operation lamp. The series of pulsation shows the kind of error.  EASY ON THE ENVIRONMENT
• Pot recognition system which detects if a cooking pot is on the plate and switches the power on and off automatically to reduce wasted enegy.
