VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN

In het belang van uw veiligheid en om een correct gebruik te kunnen waarborgen is het van belang dat u, alvorens het apparaat te installeren en in gebruik te nemen, deze gebruiksaanwijzing, inclusief de tips en waarschuwingen, grondig doorleest. Om onnodige vergissingen en ongevallen te voorkomen is het belangrijk ervoor te zorgen dat alle mensen die het apparaat gebruiken, volledig bekend zijn met de werking ervan en de veiligheidsvoorzieningen. Bewaar deze instructies en zorg ervoor dat zij bij het apparaat blijven als het wordt verplaatst of verkocht, zodat iedereen die het apparaat gedurende zijn hele levensduur gebruikt, naar behoren is geïnformeerd over het gebruik en de veiligheid van het apparaat. Voor de veiligheid van mensen en eigendommen dient u zich aan de voorzorgsmaatregelen uit dit instructieboekje te houden, de fabrikant is niet verantwoordelijk voor schade die door het niet opvolgen van de aanwijzingen veroorzaakt is.

1.1 Veiligheid van kinderen en kwetsbare mensen

• Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (waaronder begrepen kinderen) met verminderde fysieke, zintuiglijke vermogens of een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij dit onder toezicht gebeurt van een voor hun veiligheid verantwoordelijke persoon of tenzij zij van een dergelijke persoon instructie hebben ontvangen over het gebruik van het apparaat.

Houd kinderen uit de buurt om te voorkomen dat ze met het apparaat gaan spelen.

• Houd alle verpakkingsmateriaal buiten het bereik van kinderen. Gevaar voor verstikking.

• Als u het apparaat afdankt trek dan de stekker uit het stopcontact, snij de voedingskabel door (zo dicht mogelijk bij het apparaat) en verwijder de deur om te voorkomen dat kinderen een elektrische schok krijgen of zichzelf in het apparaat opsluiten.

• Als dit apparaat, dat voorzien is van een magnetische deursluiting, een ouder

apparaat vervangt, dat voorzien is van een veerslot (slot) op de deur of het deksel, zorg er dan voor dat u het slot onbruikbaar maakt voordat u het oude apparaat weggooit. Dit voorkomt dat kinderen er in opgesloten kunnen raken.

1.2 Algemene veiligheid

WAARSCHUWING!

Houd de ventilatieopeningen altijd vrij van obstructies; dit geldt zowel voor losstaande als ingebouwde modellen.

• Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor het bewaren van levensmiddelen en/of dranken in een gewoon huishouden, zoals uitgelegd in dit instructieboekje.

• Gebruik geen mechanische hulpmiddelen of kunstgrepen om het ontdooiproces te versnellen.

• Gebruik geen andere elektrische apparaten (bijvoorbeeld ijsmachines) in koelkasten, tenzij ze voor dit doel goedgekeurd zijn door de fabrikant.

• Let op dat u het koelcircuit niet beschadigt.

• Het koelmiddel isobutaan (R600a) bevindt zich in het koelcircuit van het apparaat, dit is een natuurlijk gas dat weliswaar milieuvriendelijk is, maar ook uiterst ontvlambaar.

Controleer of de onderdelen van het koelcircuit tijdens transport en installatie van het apparaat niet beschadigd zijn geraakt.

Alle elektrische onderdelen (netsnoer, stekker, compressor) mogen om gevaar te voorkomen uitsluitend worden vervangen door een erkende onderhoudsdienst of gekwalificeerd onderhoudspersoneel.

Het netsnoer mag niet verlengd worden.

Verzeker u ervan dat de stekker niet platgedrukt of beschadigd wordt door de achterkant van het apparaat. Een platgedrukte of beschadigde stekker kan oververhit raken en brand veroorzaken.

Verzeker u ervan dat u de stekker van het apparaat kunt bereiken.

Trek niet aan het snoer.

Als de stekker los zit, steek hem dan niet in het stopcontact. Dan bestaat er een risico op een elektrische schok of brand.

U mag het apparaat niet gebruiken zonder het afdekkapje (indien van toepassing) van het lampje.

• U dient zich strikt te houden aan de aanbevelingen van de fabrikant van het apparaat met betrekking tot het bewaren van voedsel. Raadpleeg de betreffende aanwijzingen.

• Leg geen koolzuurhoudende of mousserende dranken in de vriezer, deze veroorzaken druk op de fles die daardoor kan ontploffen, dit kan schade toebrengen aan het apparaat.

• IJslollies kunnen vrieswonden veroorzaken als ze rechtstreeks vanuit het apparaat geconsumeerd worden.

1.4 Onderhoud en reiniging

• Schakel het apparaat uit en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u onderhoudshandelingen verricht.

• Maak het apparaat niet schoon met metalen voorwerpen.

• Gebruik geen scherpe voorwerpen om ijs van het apparaat te krabben. Gebruik een kunststof schraper.

• Gebruik nooit een haardroger of ander verwarmingsapparaat om het ontdooien te versnellen. Oververhitting kan de kunststof binnenkant beschadigen, en door binnendringend vocht kan het apparaat onder stroom komen staan.

1.5 Installatie

Voor de aansluiting van elektriciteit dienen de instructies in de desbetreffende paragrafen nauwgezet te worden opgevolgd.

• Pak het apparaat uit en controleer of er beschadigingen zijn. Sluit het apparaat niet aan als het beschadigd is. Meld mogelijke beschadigingen onmiddellijk bij de winkel waar u het apparaat gekocht heeft. Gooi in dat geval de verpakking niet weg.

• Wij adviseren u om 4 uur te wachten voordat u het apparaat aansluit, dan kan de olie terugvloeien in de compressor.

• Rond het apparaat dient adequate luchtcirculatie te zijn, anders kan dit tot oververhitting leiden. Om voldoende

ventilatie te verkrijgen de instructies met betrekking tot de installatie opvolgen.

• De achterkant dient zo mogelijk tegen een muur geplaatst te worden, teneinde te voorkomen dat hete onderdelen (compressor, condensator) aangeraakt kunnen worden en brandwonden veroorzaken.

• Het apparaat mag niet vlakbij radiatoren of kooktoestellen geplaatst worden.

• Verzeker u ervan dat de stekker bereikbaar is nadat het apparaat geïnstalleerd is.

• Aansluiten op de drinkwatervoorziening (indien voorzien van een wateraansluiting).

1.6 Onderhoud

• Alle elektrotechnische werkzaamheden die noodzakelijk zijn voor het uitvoeren van onderhoud aan het apparaat, dienen uitgevoerd te worden door een gekwalificeerd elektricien of competent persoon.

• Dit product mag alleen worden onderhouden door een erkend onderhouds-

centrum en er dient alleen gebruik te worden gemaakt van originele reserveonderdelen.

1.7 Bescherming van het milieu

Dit apparaat bevat geen gassen die de ozonlaag kunnen beschadigen, niet in het koelcircuit en evenmin in de isolatiematerialen. Het apparaat mag niet worden weggegooid bij het normale huishoudelijke afval. Het isolatieschuim bevat ontvlambare gassen: het apparaat moet weggegooid worden conform de van toepassing zijnde regels die u bij de lokale overheidsinstanties kunt verkrijgen. Voorkom beschadiging aan de koeleenheid, vooral aan de achterkant bij de warmtewisselaar. De materialen die gebruikt zijn voor dit apparaat en die voor-

2.1 Display

2.2 Inschakelen

Steek de stekker goed in het stopcontact. Als het display niet verlicht is, drukt u op toets (A) om het apparaat in te schakelen. Kies voor het optimaal bewaren van voedsel de Ecomodus en de temperatuur wordt ingesteld op -18°C in de vriezer.

Het apparaat wordt uitgeschakeld door op toets (A) te drukken totdat het aftellen van -3 -2 -1 is voltooid.

2.4 Temperatuurregeling

De temperatuur kan gewijzigd worden door op toets (B) te drukken. De huidige temperatuurinstelling knippert en door nogmaals op de toets (B) te drukken kunt u de ingestelde temperatuur veranderen in stappen van één graad. Na een paar seconden wordt de ingestelde standaardtemperatuur getoond.

2.5 Functiemenu

Door het indrukken van toets (D) activeert u het functiemenu. Elke functie moet bevestigd worden door op toets (E) te drukken. Als de keuze na enkele seconden niet bevestigd is, wordt het menu op het display gesloten en wordt de normale toestand weergegeven. De volgende functies worden aangegeven:

2.7 Action Freeze-functie

Als u vers voedsel wilt invriezen, drukt u herhaaldelijk op knop (D) voor toegang tot

de Action Freeze-functie. Bevestig de selectie door op knop (E) te drukken. De zoemer klinkt en het schermt geeft draaiende lijnen aan. Voor een maximale invriescapaciteit laat u het voedsel eerst 24 koelen voordat u het plaatst in het FAST FREEZE-vriesvak. Het invriesproces duurt 24 uur. Plaats gedurende deze periode niet nog meer voedsel in de vriezer. Deze functie stopt automatisch na 52 uur. De functie kan te allen tijde worden uitgeschakeld door op knop (D) te drukken tot het bijbehorende pictogram gaat knipperen. Druk dan op knop (E).

2.8 Drinks Chill functie

De Drinks Chill functie moet gebruikt worden als een veiligheidswaarschuwing wanneer er flessen in de vriesruimte wor-

2.9 Functie Kinderslot

De functie Kinderslot wordt ingeschakeld door op toets (D) te drukken (meerdere keren indien nodig) tot het bijbehorende

De functie kan te allen tijde uitgeschakeld worden door op toets (D) te drukken tot het bijbehorende pictogram gaat knipperen en dan op toets (E) te drukken.

2.10 Temperatuuralarm

Een stijging van de temperatuur in de vriezer (bijvoorbeeld door een stroomuitval of doordat de deur openstaat) wordt aangegeven door:

• het knipperen van de temperatuur

•

•zoemer Wanneer de normale omstandigheden worden hersteld:

• het alarmsignaal zal stoppen

• de temperatuurwaarde blijft knipperen

• het pictogram alarm blijft knipperen Wanneer u op toets (E) drukt om het alarm uit te schakelen, verschijnt de hoogst bereikte temperatuur gedurende

enkele seconden op de indicatie Daarna wordt de normale werking weer aangegeven met de temperatuur van het gekozen vak. Tijdens de alarmfase kan de zoemer worden uitgeschakeld door op toets (E) te drukken.

3. DAGELIJKS GEBRUIK

3.1 De binnenkant

Voordat u het apparaat voor de eerste keer gebruikt, wast u de binnenkant en de interne accessoires met lauwwarm water en een beetje neutrale zeep om de typische geur van een nieuw product weg te nemen. Droog daarna grondig af.

Gebruik geen oplosmiddelen of schuurmiddelen. Deze beschadigen de lak.

3.2 Gebruik van het vriesvak

Het symbool betekent dat de vriezer geschikt is voor het invriezen van vers voedsel voor een lange bewaarperiode. De temperatuur kan tussen de -15°C

en -24°C worden ingesteld. We raden u aan de temperatuur in te stellen op -18°C, wat optimaal is voor het energieverbruik en voor het bewaren van bevroren voedsel.

Een verschil tussen de feitelijke temperatuur en de temperatuursinstelling is normaal.

In het bijzonder als:

• er kort geleden een nieuwe temperatuur is ingesteld.

• de deur lange tijd heeft opengestaan.

• er warm voedsel in het vak geplaatst is.

Verschillen tot 5°C in het vak zijn normaal. Tijdens de werking toont de temperatuurweergave de instelde waarde.

3.3 Het bewaren van ingevroren

Als u het apparaat voor het eerst of na een periode dat het niet gebruikt is, inschakelt, moet het apparaat voordat u er producten in plaatst, eerst minstens 24 uur werken in de Action Freeze-instelling. Als er grote hoeveelheden voedsel bewaard moeten worden, dient u alle laden en korven uit het apparaat te verwijderen en het voedsel op de koelschappen te zetten, hiermee verkrijgt u het beste resultaat.

Zorg ervoor dat het voedsel de beladingslimiet, die op de zijkant van het bovenste gedeelte is vermeld, niet overschrijdt (indien van

toepassing)

In het geval van onbedoelde ontdooiing, bijvoorbeeld als de stroom langer is uitgevallen dan de duur die op de kaart met technische kenmerken onder 'tijdsduur' is vermeld, moet het ontdooide voedsel snel geconsumeerd worden of onmiddellijk bereid worden en dan weer worden ingevroren (nadat het afgekoeld is).

3.4 Ontdooien

Diepgevroren of ingevroren voedsel kunt, voordat het gebruikt wordt, in het koelvak of op kamertemperatuur laten ontdooien, afhankelijk van de hoeveelheid tijd die hiervoor nodig is. Kleine stukken kunnen zelfs rechtstreeks vanuit de vriezer gekookt worden als ze nog bevroren zijn: in dat geval zal de bereiding iets langer duren.

3.5 Koude accumulators

De vriezer is uitgerust met minstens een koude accumulator die de bewaartijd verlengt in geval van een stroomonderbreking of stroomuitval.

4. HANDIGE AANWIJZINGEN EN TIPS

4.1 Tips voor het invriezen

Om u te helpen om het beste van het invriesproces te maken, volgen hier een paar belangrijke tips:

• de maximale hoeveelheid voedsel die in 24 uur ingevroren kan worden. is vermeld op het typeplaatje;

• het invriesproces duurt 24 uur. Voeg gedurende deze periode niet meer in te vriezen voedsel toe;

• vries alleen vers en grondig schoongemaakte levensmiddelen van uitstekende kwaliteit in;

• bereid het voedsel in kleine porties voor, zo kan het snel en volledig worden ingevroren en zo kunt u later alleen

die hoeveelheid laten ontdooien die u nodig heeft;

• wikkel het voedsel in aluminiumfolie of plastic en zorg ervoor dat de pakjes luchtdicht zijn;

• leg vers, nog niet ingevroren voedsel niet tegen het al ingevroren voedsel, om te voorkomen dat dit laatste warm wordt;

• smalle pakjes zijn makkelijker op te bergen dan dikke; zout maakt voedsel minder lang houdbaar;

• water bevriest, als dit rechtstreeks uit het vriesvak geconsumeerd wordt, kan het aan de huid vastvriezen;

• het is aan te bevelen de invriesdatum op elk pakje te vermelden, dan kunt u zien hoe lang het al bewaard is;

4.2 Tips voor het bewaren van

ingevroren voedsel

Om de beste resultaten van dit apparaat te verkrijgen, dient u:

• verzeker u ervan dat de commercieel ingevroren levensmiddelen op geschikte wijze door de detailhandelaar werden opgeslagen;

• zorg ervoor dat de ingevroren levensmiddelen zo snel mogelijk van de winkel naar uw vriezer gebracht worden;

• de deur niet vaker te openen of open te laten staan dan strikt noodzakelijk

• als voedsel eenmaal ontdooid is, bederft het snel en kan het niet opnieuw worden ingevroren;

• bewaar het voedsel niet langer dan de door de fabrikant aangegeven bewaarperiode.

LET OP!

Voordat u welke onderhoudshandeling dan ook verricht, de stekker uit het stopcontact trekken.

Het koelcircuit van dit apparaat bevat koolwaterstoffen; onderhoud en herladen mag alleen uitgevoerd worden door bevoegde technici.

5.1 Periodieke reiniging

Het apparaat moet regelmatig worden schoongemaakt:

• maak de binnenkant en de accessoires schoon met lauw water en wat neutrale zeep.

• controleer de afdichtingen regelmatig en wrijf ze schoon om u ervan te verzekeren dat ze schoon zijn en vrij van restjes zijn.

• spoel ze af en maak ze grondig droog.

Trek niet aan leidingen en/of kabels aan de binnenkant van de kast en verplaats of beschadig ze niet. Gebruik nooit schoonmaakmiddelen, schuurpoeders, erg geparfumeerde reinigingsproducten en waspolijstmiddelen om de binnenkant schoon te maken, aangezien deze het oppervlak beschadigen en een sterke geur achterlaten.

Maak de condensor (zwart rooster) en de compressor op de achterkant van het ap-

paraat schoon met een borstel of stofzuiger. Deze handeling zal de prestatie van het apparaat verbeteren en het elektriciteitsverbruik besparen.

Zorg ervoor dat u het koelsysteem niet beschadigt.

Veel normaal verkrijgbare keukenreinigers bevatten chemicaliën die de kunststoffen die in dit apparaat gebruikt zijn kunnen aantasten/beschadigen. Daarom wordt het aanbevolen de buitenkant van dit apparaat alleen schoon te maken met warm water met een beetje afwasmiddel. Steek, na het schoonmaken van het apparaat, de stekker weer in het stopcontact.

5.2 Het ontdooien van de vriezer

Het vriesvak van dit model is een "nofrost"-type. Dit betekent dat zich in het vriesvak geen ijs vormt als deze in bedrijf is, noch tegen de wanden noch op de levensmiddelen. Het voorkomen van ijsvorming wordt gerealiseerd door een continue circulatie van koude lucht in het vak, die aangedreven wordt door een automatisch geregelde ventilator.

5.3 Periodes dat het apparaat niet gebruikt wordt

Als het apparaat gedurende lange tijd niet gebruikt wordt, neem dan de volgende voorzorgsmaatregelen:

6. PROBLEMEN OPLOSSEN

Als uw apparaat aan blijft staan, vraag dan iemand om het zo nu en dan te controleren, om te voorkomen dat het bewaarde voedsel bederft, als de stroom uitvalt.

Tijdens de werking van het apparaat kunnen vaak kleine, maar storende problemen optreden waarvoor niet meteen een monteur hoeft te worden gebeld. In de onderstaande tabel wordt informatie gegeven over deze problemen om onnodige servicekosten te vermijden.

De werking van het apparaat gaat gepaard met bepaalde geluiden (geluid van compressor en circulatie). Dat is geen probleem, maar de normale werking.

Het apparaat werkt niet continu, dus als de compressor stopt betekent dit niet dat er geen stroom is. Daarom moet u geen elektrische onderdelen van het apparaat aanraken voordat u de stroom heeft uitgeschakeld.

6.1 De deur sluiten

Er ligt te veel rijp en ijs op de verdamper van het apparaat, de deur heeft te lang open gestaan.

Maak de afdichtingen van de deur schoon.

Stel de deur, indien nodig, af. Raadpleeg "Montage".

Vervang, indien nodig, de defecte deurafdichtingen. Neem contact op met de klantenservice.

Schakel het apparaat uit.

Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.

Haal alle etenswaren uit de vriezer en plaats deze op een frisse plaats.

Plaats het apparaat ver van de muur af.

Laat de deur open staan.

Na ongeveer 20 minuten begint de afvoerslang op de achterkant van de kast water te lozen in de lekbak.

Droog de lekbak af met een spons om te voorkomen dat het water eruit komt.

Het ontdooiproces stopt als het water stopt met druppelen. Het kan een paar uur duren als het probleem lang ervoor is begonnen.

Zet het apparaat weer terug op zijn oorspronkelijke plaats.

Maak de binnenkant van het apparaat schoon en droog.

7. MONTAGE

7.2 Elektrische aansluiting

Zorg er vóór het aansluiten voor dat het voltage en de frequentie op het typeplatje overeenkomen met de stroomtoevoer in uw huis. Het apparaat moet geaard zijn. De netsnoerstekker is voorzien van een contact voor dit doel. Als het stopcontact niet geaard is, sluit het apparaat dan aan op een

Het apparaat moet ver van hittebronnen, zoals radiatoren, boilers, direct zonlicht enz., vandaan worden geïnstalleerd. Zorg er voor dat de lucht vrij kan circuleren aan de achterkant van de kast. Als het apparaat onder een wandkast wordt geplaatst, moet de minimale afstand tussen de bovenkant van de kast en de wandkast ten minste 100 mm bedragen om optimale prestaties te garanderen. Voor de beste prestatie kunt u het apparaat echter beter niet onder een wandkast zetten. De afstelbare voetjes aan de onderkant van het apparaat garanderen een nauwkeurig horizontale uitlijning. Als de kast in een hoek is geplaatst en de zijkant bevat scharnieren die naar de muur wijzen, moet de afstand tussen de muur en de kast ten minste 10 mm zijn om de deur ver genoeg open te krijgen zodat de planken verwijderd kunnen worden.

7.3 Afstandsstukken achterkant

In het apparaat vindt u twee afstandsstukken die geplaatst moeten worden zoals aangegeven op de afbeelding.

Draai de schroeven los en plaats het afstandsstuk onder de kop van de schroef, draai daarna de schroeven weer vast.

7.4 Omkeerbaarheid van de deur

Voordat werkzaamheden worden uitgevoerd, moet u zich ervan verzekeren dat de stekker uit het stopcontact is getrokken. Om de draairichting van de deur te veranderen, gaat u als volgt te werk:

• Om de volgende handelingen uit te voeren, raden we aan dat dit wordt gedaan met de hulp van een tweede persoon die de deuren van het apparaat stevig vasthoudt tijdens de werkzaamheden.

Open de deur terwijl het apparaat rechtop staat. Draai de schroeven los en verwijder de kunststof rand van de bovenste deur. Verwijder de kleine kunststof afdekking van de kunststof rand van de deur en bevestig dit aan de andere kant (D). Leg het apparaat op de achterkant.

Verwijder de schroef van de afdekking van het scharnier (A). Draai de schroef van het bovenste scharnier los en verwijder het (B). Draai de schroef los en verwijder de deurstop (C).

Verwijder de deur.

Verwijder met behulp van gereedschap afdekking (E), draai het onderste scharnier los (F) en plaats het aan de andere kant.

Plaats de deksel (E) terug aan de andere kant. Plaats de deur terug. Let erop dat de voorste plaat van de deur parallel loopt met de voor-

ste plaat van de bovenkant. Bevestig de deurstop aan de andere kant. Plaats en bevestig het bovenste scharnier (in het zakje van de gebruiksaanwijzing) op de tegenoverliggende kant. Draai de schroef van de afdekking van het scharnier vast (in het zakje van de gebruiksaanwijzing). Zet het apparaat weer rechtop. Open de deur en plaats de kunststof rand van de bovenste deur met schroeven terug.

Bevestig de handgreep aan de andere kant, steek de plastic pluggen in de opengelaten openingen. Deze bevinden zich in het zakje van de gebruiksaanwijzing.

WAARSCHUWING!

Zet het apparaat op zijn plaats, zet het waterpas, wacht minstens vier uur en steek dan de stekker in het stopcontact.

Als u bovenstaande handelingen liever niet zelf uitvoert, neem dan contact op met de dichtstbijzijnde Klantenservice. De deskundige van de Klantenservice zal de draairichting van de deuren op uw kosten veranderen.

WAARSCHUWING!

Controleer na het omkeren van de deur of alle schroeven goed zijn aangedraaid en de magnetische afdichting tegen de behuizing kleeft. Als de omgevingstemperatuur laag is (bijv. in de winter), kan het zijn dat de pakking niet precies op de kast past. Wacht in dat geval tot de pakking op natuurlijke wijze passend wordt. Leg het apparaat op zijn achterkant.

In the interest of your safety and to ensure the correct use, before installing and first using the appliance, read this user manual carefully, including its hints and warnings. To avoid unnecessary mistakes and accidents, it is important to ensure that all people using the appliance are thoroughly familiar with its operation and safety features. Save these instructions and make sure that they remain with the appliance if it is moved or sold, so that everyone using it through its life will be properly informed on appliance use and safety. For the safety of life and property keep the precautions of these user's instructions as the manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by omission.

1.1 Children and vulnerable people safety

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Keep all packaging well away from children. There is risk of suffocation.

• If you are discarding the appliance pull the plug out of the socket, cut the connection cable (as close to the appliance as you can) and remove the door to prevent playing children to suffer electric shock or to close themselves into it.

• If this appliance featuring magnetic door seals is to replace an older appliance having a spring lock (latch) on the door or lid, be sure to make that spring lock unusable before you discard the old appliance. This will prevent it from becoming a death trap for a child.

1.2 General safety

WARNING!

Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.

• The appliance is intended for keeping foodstuff and/or beverages in a normal household as explained in this instruction booklet.

• Do not use a mechanical device or any artificial means to speed up the thawing process.

• Do not use other electrical appliances (such as ice cream makers) inside of refrigerating appliances, unless they are approved for this purpose by the manufacturer.

• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.

• The refrigerant isobutane (R600a) is contained within the refrigerant circuit of the appliance, a natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, which is nevertheless flammable.

During transportation and installation of the appliance, be certain that none of the components of the refrigerant circuit become damaged.

If the refrigerant circuit should become damaged:

– avoid open flames and sources of ig-

– thoroughly ventilate the room in

which the appliance is situated

• It is dangerous to alter the specifications or modify this product in any way. Any damage to the cord may cause a short-circuit, fire and/or electric shock.

WARNING!

Any electrical component (power cord, plug, compressor) must be replaced by a certified service agent or qualified service personnel to avoid hazard.

Power cord must not be lengthened.

Make sure that the power plug is not squashed or damaged by the back of the appliance. A squashed or damaged power plug may overheat and cause a fire.

Make sure that you can come to the mains plug of the appliance.

Do not pull the mains cable.

If the power plug socket is loose, do not insert the power plug. There is a risk of electric shock or fire.

You must not operate the appliance without the lamp cover (if foreseen) of interior lighting.

• This appliance is heavy. Care should be taken when moving it.

• Do not remove nor touch items from the freezer compartment if your hands are damp/wet, as this could cause skin abrasions or frost/freezer burns.

• Avoid prolonged exposure of the appliance to direct sunlight.

• Bulb lamps (if foreseen) used in this appliance are special purpose lamps selected for household appliances use only. They are not suitable for household room illumination.

1.3 Daily Use

• Do not put hot pot on the plastic parts in the appliance.

• Do not store flammable gas and liquid in the appliance, because they may explode.

• Do not place food products directly against the air outlet on the rear wall. (If the appliance is Frost Free)

• Frozen food must not be re-frozen once it has been thawed out.

• Store pre-packed frozen food in accordance with the frozen food manufacturer's instructions.

• Appliance's manufacturers storage recommendations should be strictly adhered to. Refer to relevant instructions.

• Do not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the freezer compartment as it creates pressure on the container, which may cause it to explode, resulting in damage to the appliance.

• Ice lollies can cause frost burns if consumed straight from the appliance.

1.4 Care and cleaning

• Before maintenance, switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.

• Do not clean the appliance with metal objects.

• Do not use sharp objects to remove frost from the appliance. Use a plastic scraper.

• Never use a hair drier or other heating appliances to speed up defrosting. Excessive heat may damage the plastic interior, and humidity could enter the electric system making it live.

1.5 Installation

For electrical connection carefully follow the instructions given in specific paragraphs.

• Unpack the appliance and check if there are damages on it. Do not connect the appliance if it is damaged. Report possible damages immediately to the place you bought it. In that case retain packing.

• It is advisable to wait at least four hours before connecting the appliance to allow the oil to flow back in the compressor.

• Adequate air circulation should be around the appliance, lacking this leads to overheating. To achieve sufficient ventilation follow the instructions relevant to installation.

• Wherever possible the back of the product should be against a wall to avoid touching or catching warm parts (compressor, condenser) to prevent possible burn.

• The appliance must not be located close to radiators or cookers.

• Make sure that the mains plug is accessible after the installation of the appliance.

• Connect to potable water supply only (If a water connection is foreseen).

1.6 Service

• Any electrical work required to do the servicing of the appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person.

• This product must be serviced by an authorized Service Centre, and only genuine spare parts must be used.

2.2 Switching on

Insert the plug into the power outlet. If the display is not illuminated, press button (A), to start the appliance. For optimal food storage select the Eco Mode and the temperature is set to -18°C in the freezer.

• Wait ca. 24 h, before loading food into the freezer compartment.

• To select a different temperature see "Temperature regulation".

2.3 Switching off

The appliance is shut off by pressing button (A) until a countdown from -3 -2 -1 is completed.

2.4 Temperature regulation

The temperature may be changed by pressing the button (B). The current temperature setting flashes and by pressing button (B) again the set temperature is possible to change in steps of one degree.

After some seconds is shown the set default temperature.

2.5 Functions Menu

By activating the key (D) the functions menu is operating. Each function could be confirmed by pressing button (E). If there is no confirmation after some seconds the display will go out from the menu and return in normal condition. The following functions are indicated:

2.6 Eco Mode Function

The Eco Mode function is activated by pressing key D (several times if necessary)

until the corresponding icon appears (or setting the temperature at -18°C). You must confirm the choice by pressing key E within few seconds. You will hear the buzzer and the icon remains lighted. In this condition the chosen temperatures are automatically set (-18°C), in the best conditions for storing food. It is possible to de-activate the function at any time by changing the selected temperature in the compartment.

2.7 Action Freeze Function

To freeze fresh foods, press button (D) repeatedly to access the Action Freeze

function. Confirm the selection by pressing button (E), and you will hear the buzzer and the display will show rotating lines. To achieve maximum freezing capacity, allow a pre-cooling period of 24 hours, before placing the fresh food in the FAST FREEZE compartment . The freezing process takes 24 hours. During this period do not put other foods in the freezer. This function stops automatically after 52 hours. It is possible to deactivate the function at any time by pressing button (D) until the corresponding icon will flash and then button (E).

2.8 Drinks Chill Function

The Drinks Chill function is to be used as a safety warning when placing bottles in the freezer compartment. It is activated by pressing key (D) (several times if necessary) until the corresponding icon appears

. You must confirm the choice by pressing key (E) within few seconds. You will hear the buzzer and the icon remains lighted. In this condition it operates a timer with a default value of 30 min. and it could change from 1 to 90 min., by pressing key (B) you select the minutes needed. At the end of the selected time there are the following indications:

The Child Lock function is activated by pressing key (D) (several times if necessary) until the corresponding icon appears

. You must confirm the choice by pressing key (E) within few seconds. You will hear the buzzer and the icon remains lighted. In this condition any possible operation through the keys does not cause any change as long as this function is activated. It is possible to de-activate the function at any time by pressing key (D) until the corresponding icon will flash and then key (E).

2.10 Temperature alarm

Temperature increase in the freezer compartment (for example due to an power failure or door is open) is indicated by:

3.1 Cleaning the interior

Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and all internal accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap so as to remove the typical smell of a brand-new product, then dry thoroughly.

Do not use detergents or abrasive powders, as these will damage the finish.

3.2 Use of the freezer

compartment

The symbol means that the freezer is suitable for freezing fresh food and for long term storage. The temperature may be regulated between -15°C and -24°C. We suggest setting the temperature to -18°C, which is optimal for energy consumption and frozen food storage.

Difference between setting temperature and actual temperature is normal.

Especially when:

• a new setting has recently been selected

• the door has been open for a long time

• warm food has been placed in the compartment.

Difference until 5°C inside the compartment are quite normal. During operation the temperature indicator shows setting value.

3.3 Storage of frozen food

When first starting-up or after a period out of use, before putting the products in the compartment let the appliance run at least 24 hours on the Action Freeze setting. If large quantities of food are to be stored, remove all drawers and baskets from appliance and place food on cooling shelves to obtain the best performance.

Make sure that foods do not exceed the load limit stated on the side of the upper section (where

applicable)

In the event of accidental defrosting, for example due to a power failure, if the power has been off for longer that the value shown in the technical characteristics chart under "rising time", the defrosted food must be consumed quickly or cooked immediately and then re-frozen (after cooling).

3.4 Thawing

Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to being used, can be thawed in the refrigerator compartment or at room temperature, depending on the time available for this operation. Small pieces may even be cooked still frozen, directly from the freezer: in this case, cooking will take longer.

3.5 Cold accumulators

The freezer contains at least one cold accumulator which increases storage time in the event of a power cut or breakdown.

4.1 Hints for freezing

To help you make the most of the freezing process, here are some important hints:

• the maximum quantity of food which can be frozen in 24 hrs. is shown on the rating plate;

• the freezing process takes 24 hours. No further food to be frozen should be added during this period;

• only freeze top quality, fresh and thoroughly cleaned, foodstuffs;

• prepare food in small portions to enable it to be rapidly and completely frozen and to make it possible subsequently to thaw only the quantity required;

• wrap up the food in aluminium foil or polythene and make sure that the packages are airtight;

• do not allow fresh, unfrozen food to touch food which is already frozen, thus avoiding a rise in temperature of the latter;

• lean foods store better and longer than fatty ones; salt reduces the storage life of food;

• water ices, if consumed immediately after removal from the freezer compartment, can possibly cause the skin to be freeze burnt;

• it is advisable to show the freezing in date on each individual pack to enable you to keep tab of the storage time.

4.2 Hints for storage of frozen

food

To obtain the best performance from this appliance, you should:

• make sure that the commercially frozen foodstuffs were adequately stored by the retailer;

• be sure that frozen foodstuffs are transferred from the foodstore to the freezer in the shortest possible time;

• not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than absolutely necessary;

• once defrosted, food deteriorates rapidly and cannot be refrozen;

• do not exceed the storage period indicated by the food manufacturer.

5. CARE AND CLEANING

CAUTION!

Unplug the appliance before carrying out any maintenance operation.

This appliance contains hydrocarbons in its cooling unit; maintenance and recharging must therefore only be carried out by authorized technicians.

5.1 Periodic cleaning

The equipment has to be cleaned regularly:

• clean the inside and accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap.

• regularly check the door seals and wipe clean to ensure they are clean and free from debris.

• rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not pull, move or damage any

pipes and/or cables inside the cabinet. Never use detergents, abrasive powders, highly perfumed cleaning products or wax polishes to clean the interior as this will damage the surface and leave a strong odour.

Clean the condenser (black grill) and the compressor at the back of the appliance with a brush. This operation will improve the performance of the appliance and save electricity consumption.

Take care of not to damage the cooling system.

Many proprietary kitchen surface cleaners contain chemicals that can attack/dam-

age the plastics used in this appliance. For this reason it is recommended that the outer casing of this appliance is only cleaned with warm water with a little washing-up liquid added. After cleaning, reconnect the equipment to the mains supply.

5.2 Defrosting of the freezer

The freezer compartment of this model, on the other hand, is a "no frost" type. This means that there is no buildup of frost when it is in operation, neither on the internal walls nor on the foods. The absence of frost is due to the continuous circulation of cold air inside the compartment, driven by an automatically controlled fan.

When the appliance is not in use for long periods, take the following precautions:

During operation of the appliance some smaller but annoying trouble can often occur, which does not require calling a technician out. In the following chart information is given about them to avoid unnecessary charges on service.

The operation of the appliance goes with certain sounds (compressor and circulating sound). This not means a trouble, but a normal operation.

The appliance operates discontinuously, so the stopping of compressor does not mean being no current. That is why you must not touch the electrical parts of the appliance before breaking the circuit.

The appliance should be installed well away from sources of heat such as radiators, boilers, direct sunlight etc. Ensure that air can circulate freely around the back of the cabinet. To ensure best performance, if the appliance is positioned below an overhanging wall unit, the minimum distance between the top of the cabinet and the wall unit must be at least 100 mm . Ideally, however, the appliance should not be positioned below overhanging wall units. Accurate levelling is ensured by one or more adjustable feet at the base of the cabinet. If the cabinet is placed in a corner and the side with the hinges facing the wall, the distance between the wall and the cabinet must be at least 10 mm to allow the door to open enough so that the shelves can be removed.

7.3 Rear spacers

Inside the appliance you find two spacers which must be fitted as shown in the figure.

Slacken the screws and insert the spacer under the screw head, then retighten the screws.

7.4 Door reversibility

Before carrying out any operations, remove the plug from the power socket. To change the opening direction of the door, proceed as follows:

• To carry out the following operations, we suggest that this be made with another person that will keep a firm hold on the doors of the appliance during the operations.

Open the door with the appliance in the upright position. Unscrew the screws and remove the upper door plastic trim. Remove the little plastic cover from the door plastic trim and refit on the opposite side (D). Lay down the appliance back side down.

Remove the screw of the hinge cover plug (A). Unscrew the upper hinge and remove it (B). Unscrew the screw and remove the door stopper (C).

Remove using a tool the cover (E), unscrew the lower hinge pivot (F) and place it on the opposite side. Reinsert the cover (E) on the oppo-

site side. Reinsert the door. Pay attention that the front board of the doors are parallel to the front board of the top.

Fix the door stopper on the opposite side. Position and fix the upper hinge (that can be found in the instruction for use bag) on the opposite side. Fix the screw of the new cover hinge (that can be found in the instruction for use bag). Lift up the appliance to vertical position. Open the door and reposition the upper door plastic trim with screws.

Fix the handle on the opposite side, insert the plastic plugs into the holes left open that can be found in the instruction for use bag.

WARNING!

Reposition, level the appliance, wait for at least four hours and then connect it to the power socket.

In case you do not want to carry out the above mentioned operations, contact the nearest After Sales Service Force. The After Sales Service specialist will carry out the reversibility of the doors at your cost.

WARNING!

After having reversed the opening direction of the doors check that all the screws are properly tightened and that the magnetic seal adheres to the cabinet. If the ambient temperature is cold (i.e. in Winter), the gasket may not fit perfectly to the cabinet. In that case, wait for the natural fitting of the gasket. Lay down the appliance back side down.

1.1 Sécurité des enfants et des personnes vulnérables

• Cet appareil n'est pas destiné à être utilisé par des enfants ou des personnes dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales, ou le manque d'expérience et de connaissance les empêchent d'utiliser l'appareil sans risque lorsqu'ils sont sans surveillance ou en l'absence d'instruction d'une personne responsable qui puisse leur assurer une utilisation de l'appareil sans danger.

• Ne laissez pas les différents emballages à portée des enfants. Ils pourraient s'asphyxier.

• Si l'appareil doit être mis au rebut, veillez à couper le câble d'alimentation électrique au ras de l'appareil pour éviter les risques d'électrocution. Démontez la porte pour éviter que des enfants ne restent enfermés à l'intérieur.

1.2 Consignes générales de sécurité

AVERTISSEMENT

Veillez à ce que les orifices de ventilation, situés dans l'enceinte de l'appareil ou la structure intégrée, ne soient pas obstrués.

• Les appareils sont destinés uniquement à la conservation des aliments et/ou des boissons dans le cadre d’un usage domestique normal, tel que celui décrit dans la présente notice.

• N'utilisez pas d'appareils électriques, d'agents chimiques ou tout autre système artificiel pour accélérer le processus de dégivrage.

• Ne faites pas fonctionner d'appareils électriques (comme des sorbetières électriques, ...) à l'intérieur des appareils de réfrigération à moins que cette utilisation n'ait reçu l'agrément du fabricant.

• N'endommagez pas le circuit frigorifique.

• Le circuit frigorifique de l’appareil contient de l’isobutane (R600a), un gaz naturel offrant un haut niveau de compatibilité avec l’environnement mais qui est néanmoins inflammable.

Pendant le transport et l'installation de votre appareil, assurez-vous qu'aucune partie du circuit frigorifique n'est endommagée.

Ne branchez pas le cordon d'alimentation à une rallonge.

Assurez-vous que la prise n'est pas écrasée ou endommagée par l'arrière de l'appareil. Une prise de courant écrasée ou endommagée peut s'échauffer et causer un incendie.

Vérifiez que la prise murale de l'appareil est accessible.

Ne débranchez pas l'appareil en tirant sur le câble.

Si la prise murale n'est pas bien fixée, n'introduisez pas de prise dedans. Risque d'électrocution ou d'incendie.

N'utilisez pas l'appareil sans le diffuseur de l'ampoule (si présent) de l'éclairage intérieur.

• Cet appareil est lourd. Faite attention lors de son déplacement.

• Ne touchez pas avec les mains humides les surfaces givrées et les produits congelés (risque de brûlure et d'arrachement de la peau).

• Évitez une exposition prolongée de l'appareil aux rayons solaires.

• Les ampoules (si présentes) utilisées dans cet appareil sont des ampoules spécifiques uniquement destinées à être utilisées sur des appareils ménagers. Elles ne sont pas du tout adaptées à un éclairage quelconque d'une habitation.

1.3 Utilisation quotidienne

• Ne posez pas d'éléments chauds sur les parties en plastique de l'appareil.

• Ne stockez pas de gaz ou de liquides inflammables dans l'appareil (risque d'explosion).

• Ne placez pas d'aliments directement contre la sortie d'air sur la paroi arrière de l'appareil. (Si l'appareil est sans givre.)

• Un produit décongelé ne doit jamais être recongelé.

• Conservez les aliments emballés conformément aux instructions de leur fabricant.

• Respectez scrupuleusement les conseils de conservation donnés par le fabricant de l'appareil. Consultez les instructions respectives.

• Ne mettez pas de bouteilles ni de boîtes de boissons gazeuses dans le compartiment congélateur, car la pression se formant à l'intérieur du contenant pourrait le faire éclater et endommager ainsi l'appareil.

• Ne consommez pas certains produits tels que les bâtonnets glacés dès leur sortie de l'appareil, car ils peuvent provoquer des brûlures.

1.4 Entretien et nettoyage

• Avant toute opération d'entretien, mettez l'appareil à l'arrêt et débranchez-le.

• N'utilisez pas d'objets métalliques pour nettoyer l'appareil.

• N'utilisez pas d'objet tranchant pour gratter la couche de givre. Utilisez une spatule en plastique.

• N'utilisez pas d'appareils électriques ou agents chimiques pour dégivrer l'appareil. La chaleur excessive pourrait endommager le revêtement plastique interne et l'humidité pourrait s'introduire dans le système électrique.

1.5 Installation

Avant de procéder au branchement électrique, respectez scrupuleusement les instructions fournies dans cette notice.

• Déballez l'appareil et vérifiez qu'il n'est pas endommagé. Ne branchez pas l'appareil s'il est endommagé. Signalez immédiatement au revendeur de l'appareil les dommages constatés. Dans ce cas, gardez l'emballage.

Branchez correctement la fiche sur la prise de courant. Si l'afficheur n'est pas allumé, appuyez sur la touche (A) pour mettre l'appareil en fonctionnement. Pour une conservation optimale des aliments, sélectionnez le mode Eco, la température est alors réglée sur -18 °C dans le compartiment congélateur.

• Attendez 24 h avant de mettre des aliments dans le compartiment congélateur.

• Pour sélectionner une température différente, reportez-vous au paragraphe « Réglage de la température ».

Pour mettre l'appareil à l'arrêt, appuyez sur la touche (A) jusqu'à ce que le décompte de -3 -2 -1 soit terminé.

2.4 Réglage de la température

Pour modifier la température, appuyez sur la touche (B). Le réglage actuel de la température clignote. Vous pouvez le modifier par paliers d'un degré en appuyant de nouveau sur la touche (B). La température par défaut s'affiche au bout de quelques secondes.

Pour activer la fonction Mode Éco, appuyez sur la touche (D) (plusieurs fois si nécessaire), jusqu'à ce que le symbole

3.1 Nettoyage intérieur

Avant d'utiliser l'appareil pour la première fois, nettoyez l'intérieur et tous les accessoires internes avec de l'eau tiède savonneuse pour supprimer l'odeur caractéristique du "neuf" puis séchez soigneusement.

N'utilisez pas de produits abrasifs, poudre à récurer, éponge métallique pour ne pas abîmer la finition.

3.2 Utilisation du compartiment congélateur

Le symbole signifie que votre congélateur permet la congélation et la conservation à long terme de denrées fraîches. Vous pouvez régler la température entre -15 °C et -24 °C. Effectuez un premier réglage sur une position moyenne (-18 °C), et ce pour garantir une conservation optimale des aliments congelés et des économies d'énergie.

Une différence entre la température affichée et la température réglée est normale.

En particulier lorsque :

• un nouveau réglage a été récemment sélectionné

• la porte a été laissée ouverte longtemps

• des aliments chauds ont été placés dans le compartiment.

Une différence maximale de 5 °C à l’intérieur du compartiment est tout à fait normale. Durant le fonctionnement, le voyant de température indique la valeur du paramétrage.

3.3 Conservation d'aliments

À la mise en service ou après un arrêt prolongé, faites fonctionner l'appareil pen-

dant 24 heures environ, avant d’introduire les produits dans le compartiment, sur le réglage Action Freeze. Si vous devez stocker une grande quantité d'aliments, retirez tous les tiroirs et paniers et placez directement les aliments sur les clayettes réfrigérantes pour obtenir les meilleures performances possibles.

Assurez-vous que la quantité d'aliments ne dépasse pas la charge limite indiquée sur le côté de la section supérieure (si be-

En cas de décongélation accidentelle, due par exemple à une coupure de courant, si la coupure a duré plus de temps qu'il n'est prévu au paragraphe « Autonomie de fonctionnement », au chapitre Caractéristiques techniques, consommez rapidement les aliments décongelés ou cuisez-les immédiatement avant de les recongeler (une fois refroidis).

3.4 Décongélation

Avant utilisation, les aliments surgelés ou congelés peuvent être décongelés dans le compartiment du réfrigérateur ou à température ambiante en fonction du temps disponible pour cette opération. Les petites portions peuvent même être cuites sans décongélation préalable (la cuisson sera cependant un peu plus longue).

3.5 Accumulateurs de froid

Le congélateur est équipé d'au moins un accumulateur de froid qui permet d'augmenter l'autonomie de votre appareil en cas de coupure de courant.

4. CONSEILS

4.1 Conseils pour la congélation

Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats, voici quelques conseils importants :

• la quantité maximale de denrées que vous pouvez congeler par 24 heures est indiquée sur la plaque signalétique.

• le temps de congélation est de 24 heures. Aucune autre denrée à congeler ne doit être ajoutée pendant cette période.

• congelez seulement les denrées alimentaires fraîches, de qualité supérieure (une fois nettoyées).

• préparez la nourriture en petits paquets pour une congélation rapide et uniforme, adaptés à l'importance de la consommation.

• enveloppez les aliments dans des feuilles d'aluminium ou de polyéthylène et assurez-vous que les emballages sont étanches ;

• ne laissez pas des aliments frais, non congelés, toucher des aliments déjà congelés pour éviter une remontée en température de ces derniers.

• les aliments maigres se conservent mieux et plus longtemps que les aliments gras ; le sel réduit la durée de conservation des aliments

• la température très basse à laquelle se trouvent les bâtonnets glacés, s'ils sont consommés dès leur sortie du compar-

timent congélateur, peut provoquer des brûlures.

• L'identification des emballages est importante : indiquez la date de congélation du produit, et respectez la durée de conservation indiquée par le fabricant.

4.2 Conseils pour la

conservation des produits surgelés et congelés du commerce

Pour obtenir les meilleures performances possibles :

• assurez-vous que les denrées surgelées achetées dans le commerce ont été correctement entreposées par le revendeur ;

• prévoyez un temps réduit au minimum pour le transport des denrées du magasin d'alimentation à votre domicile ;

• évitez d'ouvrir trop souvent la porte du congélateur et ne la laissez ouverte que le temps nécessaire ;

• une fois décongelés, les aliments se détériorent rapidement et ne peuvent pas être recongelés ;

• ne dépassez pas la durée de conservation indiquée par le fabricant.

5. ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE

5.1 Nettoyage périodique

Cet appareil doit être nettoyé régulièrement :

• Nettoyez l'intérieur et tous les accessoires avec de l'eau tiède savonneuse.

• Vérifiez régulièrement les joints de porte et nettoyez-les en les essuyant pour éviter toute accumulation de déchets.

• Rincez et séchez soigneusement.

Ne pas tirer, déplacer ou endommager les tuyaux et/ou câbles qui se trouvent à l'intérieur de l'appareil. Ne JAMAIS utiliser de produits abrasifs ou caustiques ni d'éponges avec grattoir pour nettoyer l'intérieur de façon à ne pas l'abîmer et laisser de fortes odeurs.

Nettoyer le condenseur (grille noire) et le compresseur situés à l'arrière de l'appareil avec une brosse ou un aspirateur. Cette opération améliore les performances de l'appareil et permet des économies d'énergie.

Attention à ne pas endommager le système de réfrigération.

De nombreux détergents pour la cuisine recommandés par les fabricants contiennent des produits chimiques qui peuvent attaquer/endommager les pièces en plastique utilisées dans cet appareil. Il est par conséquent recommandé d'utiliser seulement de l'eau chaude additionnée d'un peu de savon liquide pour nettoyer la carrosserie de l'appareil. Après le nettoyage, rebranchez l'appareil.

5.2 Dégivrage du congélateur

Le compartiment congélateur de ce modèle est "sans givre". Cela signifie qu'il n'y a aucune formation de givre pendant son

fonctionnement, ni sur les parois internes si sur les aliments. L'absence de givre est due à la circulation continuelle de l'air froid à l'intérieur du compartiment, sous l'impulsion d'un ventilateur à commande automatique.

5.3 En cas d'absence prolongée

• retirez tous les aliments

Pendant le fonctionnement de l'appareil, des dysfonctionnements minimes mais gênants peuvent se produire, qui n'exigent cependant pas l'intervention d'un technicien. Le tableau suivant vous donne les informations vous permettant d'éviter les frais de réparation inutiles.

L'appareil produit certains bruits lorsqu'il fonctionne (compresseur et bruits de circulation). Cela est normal.

Éteignez l'appareil.

Débranchez la fiche de l'appareil de la prise secteur.

Sortez tous les aliments du réfrigérateur et placez-les dans un endroit frais.

Éloignez l'appareil du mur.

Laissez la porte ouverte.

Au bout d'environ 20 minutes, de l'eau doit s'écouler du flexible d'évacuation situé à l'arrière de l'appareil vers le bac collecteur.

Pour éviter tout débordement, épongez cette eau.

Le processus de dégivrage est terminé lorsque l'eau cesse de s'écouler. Cela peut prendre plusieurs heures, si le problème dure depuis longtemps.

Remettez l'appareil en place.

7. INSTALLATION

Contrôlez, avant de brancher l'appareil, si la tension et la fréquence indiquées sur la plaque signalétique correspondent à celles de votre réseau. L'appareil doit être relié à la terre. La fiche du câble d'alimentation comporte un logement pour mise à la terre. Si la prise de courant murale n'est pas mise à la terre,

L'appareil ne doit pas être installé près d'une source de chaleur telle qu'un radiateur, une chaudière, la lumière directe du soleil, etc. Assurez-vous que l'air circule librement à l'arrière de l'appareil. Pour garantir un rendement optimal si l'appareil est installé sous un élément suspendu, la distance entre le haut de l'appareil et l'élément suspendu doit être d'au moins 100 mm. Si possible, évitez de placer l'appareil sous des éléments suspendus. La mise de niveau se fait à l'aide d'un ou de plusieurs pieds réglables à la base de l'appareil. Si l'appareil est placé dans un coin avec le côté des charnières contre le mur, laissez au moins 10 mm entre le mur et l'appareil pour permettre une ouverture suffisante de la porte, afin de pouvoir retirer les clayettes.

L'appareil doit pouvoir être débranché à tout moment ; il est donc nécessaire que la prise reste accessible après l'installation.

7.4 Réversibilité de la porte

Avant toute opération, débranchez la fiche de la prise de courant. Pour changer le sens d'ouverture de la porte, procédez comme suit :

Ouvrez la porte lorsque l'appareil est debout. Dévissez les vis et reti-

rez la moulure en plastique de la porte supérieure. Retirez le petit cache en plastique de la moulure de la porte et remettez-le en place sur le côté opposé (D). Couchez l'appareil sur le dos.

Retirez la vis du cache charnière

(A). Dévissez la charnière supérieure et enlevez-la (B). Dévissez la vis et retirez la butée de porte (C).

Enlevez le cache (E) à l'aide d'un outil, dévissez le gond de la charnière inférieure (F) et placez-le sur le côté opposé.

Installez le cache (E) sur le côté opposé. Installez la porte. Vérifiez que le panneau avant des portes est parallèle au panneau

avant de l'élément supérieur. Fixez la butée de porte sur le côté opposé. Positionnez et fixez la charnière supérieure (vous la trouverez dans le sachet de la notice d'utilisation) sur le côté opposé. Fixez la vis du nouveau cache charnière (vous le trouverez dans le sachet de la notice d'utilisation). Remettez l'appareil en position verticale. Ouvrez la porte et remettez en place la moulure en plastique de la porte supérieure en utilisant les vis.

Fixez la poignée sur le côté opposé, puis insérez les caches en plastique (fournis dans le sachet de la notice d'utilisation) dans les trous restés libres.

AVERTISSEMENT

Remettez l'appareil en place, mettez-le d'aplomb, attendez quatre heures au moins puis branchez-le sur la prise de courant.

Si vous ne souhaitez pas effectuer personnellement les opérations décrites cidessus, contactez votre service aprèsvente. Un technicien du service aprèsvente procédera à la réversibilité des portes à vos frais.

AVERTISSEMENT

Après avoir changé le sens d'ouverture des portes, vérifiez que toutes les vis sont correctement serrées et que le joint magnétique adhère bien à l'appareil. Si la température ambiante est basse (par exemple, en hiver), il se peut que le joint n'adhère pas parfaitement. Dans ce cas, attendez que le joint reprenne sa taille naturelle. Couchez l'appareil sur le dos.

3. TÄGLICHER GEBRAUCH

3.1 Reinigung des Innenraums

Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, beseitigen Sie den typischen „Neugeruch“ am besten durch Reinigen der Innenteile mit lauwarmem Wasser und einer neutralen Seife. Sorgfältig nachtrocknen.

Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel oder Scheuerpulver, die die Oberfläche beschädigen.

3.2 Gebrauch des Gefrierschranks

Das Symbol bedeutet, dass sich der Gefrierschrank zum Einfrieren frischer Lebensmittel für einen längeren Zeitraum eignet. Die Temperatur kann zwischen -15 °C und -24 °C geregelt werden. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, für eine optimale Lagerung gefrorener Lebensmittel und einen optimalen Energieverbrauch eine Temperatur von -18 °C einzustellen.

Ein Abweichen der eingestellten Temperatur von der tatsächlichen Temperatur ist normal.

Besonders dann, wenn:

• erst kürzlich eine neue Einstellung gewählt wurde

• die Tür längere Zeit offen stand

• warme Lebensmittel in den Gefrierraum eingestellt wurden.

Unterschiede von bis zu 5 °C innerhalb des Gefrierraums sind normal. Während des Betriebs zeigt die Temperaturanzeige den eingestellten Wert an.

3.3 Lagerung gefrorener

Lassen Sie das Gerät bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme oder wenn das Gerät einige Zeit nicht benutzt wurde, mindestens 24 Stunden lang mit der aktivierten Funktion Action Freeze eingeschaltet, bevor Sie Lebensmittel hineingeben. Der Kältekreis des Gerätes enthält Kohlenwasserstoffe; Wartungsarbeiten und Nachfüllen von Kältemittel dürfen daher nur durch vom Hersteller autorisiertes Fachpersonal ausgeführt werden.

5.1 Regelmäßige Reinigung

Der gesamte Kühlschrank muss regelmäßig gereinigt werden:

• Reinigen Sie die Innenseiten und die Zubehörteile mit lauwarmem Wasser und etwas Neutralseife.

• Prüfen und säubern Sie die Türdichtungen in regelmäßigen Abständen und kontrollieren Sie, dass diese sauber und frei von Verunreinigungen sind.

• Spülen und trocknen Sie diese sorgfältig ab.

Ziehen Sie nicht an Leitungen und/oder Kabeln im Innern des Kühlschranks und achten Sie darauf, diese nicht zu verschieben oder zu beschädigen. Benutzen Sie zur Reinigung des Innenraums keinesfalls Putzmittel, Scheuerpulver, stark parfümierte Reinigungsmittel oder Wachspolituren, da diese die Oberfläche des Innenraums beschädigen und einen starken Eigengeruch hinterlassen können.

Reinigen Sie den Kondensator (schwarzes Gitter) und den Kompressor auf der Geräterückseite mit einer Bürste. Dadurch verbessert sich die Leistung des Geräts und es verbraucht weniger Strom.

Bitte achten Sie darauf, das Kühlsystem nicht zu beschädigen.

Viele Haushaltsreiniger für Küchen enthalten Chemikalien, die den im Gerät verwendeten Kunststoff angreifen können. Aus diesem Grund ist es empfehlenswert, das Gerät außen nur mit warmem Wasser und etwas flüssigem Tellerspülmittel zu reinigen. Schließen Sie das Gerät nach der Reinigung wieder an die Netzversorgung an.

5.2 Abtauen des

Das Gefrierfach dieses Modells ist vom Typ "No Frost". Dies bedeutet, dass es während des Betriebs weder an den Innenwänden noch auf den Lebensmitteln zu Frostbildung kommt. 6.2 Reinigen des Verdampfers

Schalten Sie das Gerät aus.

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

Nehmen Sie alle Lebensmittel aus dem Gerät und lagern Sie sie an einem kühlen Ort.

Schieben Sie das Gerät weit von der Wand weg.

Lassen Sie die Tür offen.

Nach etwa 20 Minuten beginnt der Ablaufschlauch auf der Rückseite des Geräts Wasser in die Auffangwanne abzulassen.

Saugen Sie das Wasser mit einem Schwamm auf, um einen Überlauf der Auffangwanne zu verhindern.

Der Abtauvorgang ist beendet, wenn das Wasser nicht mehr tropft. Dies kann einige Stunden dauern, wenn das Problem bereits längere Zeit besteht.

Schieben Sie das Gerät in seine ursprüngliche Position zurück.

Reinigen und trocknen Sie den Innenraum des Geräts.

Das Gerät sollte in ausreichendem Abstand von Wärmequellen wie Heizungen, Boilern, direkter Sonneneinstrahlung etc. aufgestellt werden. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Luft an der Rückseite des Gehäuses frei zirkulieren kann. Um einwandfreien Betrieb sicherzustellen, sollte der Abstand zwischen der Oberseite des Gehäuses und dem Hängeschrank mindestens 100 mm betragen, wenn das Gerät unter einem Hängeschrank aufgestellt wird. Allerdings sollte die Aufstellung des Geräts unter einem Hängeschrank nach Möglichkeit vermieden werden. Die ordnungsgemäße waagrechte Ausrichtung des Gerätes kann mithilfe eines oder mehrerer verstellbarer Füße am Sockel des Gehäuses erfolgen. Wird das Gerät in einer Ecke aufgestellt, und zeigt die Scharnierseite dabei zur Wand, so muss der Abstand zwischen Wand und Gerät mindestens 10 mm betragen, damit die Tür zum Herausnehmen der Ablagen geöffnet werden kann.

7.2 Elektrischer Anschluss

Kontrollieren Sie vor der ersten Benutzung des Gerätes, ob die Netzspannung und frequenz Ihres Hausanschlusses mit den auf dem Typenschild angegebenen Anschlusswerten übereinstimmen. Das Gerät muss geerdet sein. Zu diesem Zweck ist die Netzkabelsteckdose mit einem Schutzkontakt ausgestattet. Falls die

7.3 Distanzstücke hinten

Im Gerät befinden sich zwei Distanzstücke, die, wie in der Abbildung gezeigt, angebracht werden müssen.

Lockern Sie dazu die Schrauben etwas und legen Sie die Distanzstücke unter die Schraubenköpfe. Anschließend ziehen Sie die Schrauben wieder fest.

7.4 Wechsel des Türanschlags

Vor der Durchführung von Arbeiten am Gerät ist stets der Netzstecker ziehen. Beim Wechsel des Türanschlags muss wie folgt vorgegangen werden:

• Die nachfolgend beschriebenen Tätigkeiten sollten von mindestens zwei Personen durchgeführt werden, um ein Herunterfallen der Türen zu vermeiden.

Öffnen Sie die Tür bei aufrecht stehendem Gerät. Lösen Sie die Schrauben und entfernen Sie die Kunststoffverkleidung der oberen Tür. Entfernen Sie das kleine Kunststoffteil von der Kunststoffverkleidung der Tür und bringen Sie es an der gegenüberliegenden Seite (D) wieder an. Legen Sie das Gerät auf seine Rückseite.

Entfernen Sie die Schraube der Scharnierabdeckung (A). Lösen Sie die Schrauben des oberen Scharniers (B) und entfernen Sie dieses. Lösen Sie die Schraube, entfernen Sie den Türanschlag (C).

platte der Türen parallel zur oberen Frontplatte verläuft. Befestigen Sie den Türanschlag auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite. Setzen Sie das obere Scharnier, das sich im Beutel mit der Anleitung befindet, an der gegenüberliegenden Seite an und befestigen Sie es. WARNUNG!

Schieben Sie das Gerät wieder an seinen Standort, richten Sie es waagerecht aus und nehmen Sie es mindestens vier Stunden lang nicht in Betrieb. Schließen Sie es dann an die Stromversorgung an.

Wenden Sie sich an den Kundendienst, um bei den oben beschriebenen Tätigkeiten Unterstützung zu bekommen. Ein Kundendiensttechniker wird die Türen dann auf Ihre Kosten umbauen.

WARNUNG!

Überprüfen Sie nach dem Wechsel des Türanschlags, dass alle Schrauben fest angezogen sind und die Magnetdichtung am Schrank anliegt. Bei niedrigen Umgebungstemperaturen (z. B. im Winter) kann es vorkommen, dass die Türdichtung nicht richtig am Gerät anliegt. Warten Sie in diesem Fall ab, bis sich die Dichtung allmählich anpasst. Legen Sie das Gerät auf seine Rückseite.

1.1 Segurança para crianças e pessoas vulneráveis

• Este aparelho não se destina a ser utilizado por pessoas (incluindo crianças) com capacidades físicas, sensoriais ou mentais reduzidas ou sem experiência e conhecimento, excepto se lhes tiver sido dada supervisão ou instrução relativa à utilização do aparelho por uma pessoa responsável pela sua segurança.

1.2 Segurança geral

ADVERTÊNCIA

Mantenha as aberturas de ventilação da caixa do aparelho ou da estrutura integrada sem obstruções.

• O aparelho destina-se à conservação de alimentos e/ou bebidas em ambiente doméstico normal, como explicado neste manual de instruções.

• Não utilize um dispositivo mecânico ou qualquer meio artificial para acelerar o processo de descongelação.

• Não utilize outros aparelhos eléctricos (como máquinas de fazer gelados) dentro dos aparelhos de refrigeração, a não ser que sejam aprovados para este fim pelo fabricante.

• Não danifique o circuito de refrigeração.

• O circuito de refrigeração do aparelho contém isobutano (R600a), um gás natural com um alto nível de compatibilidade ambiental que é, no entanto, inflamável.

Durante o transporte e a instalação do aparelho, certifique-se de que nenhum dos componentes do circuito de refrigeração fica danificado.

1.3 Utilização diária

• Não coloque panelas quentes nas partes de plástico do aparelho.

• Não guarde gases ou líquidos inflamáveis no aparelho, porque podem explodir.

• Não coloque alimentos directamente em frente à saída de ar na parede traseira. (Se o aparelho for do tipo Frost Free - sem gelo)

• Depois de descongelados, os alimentos não devem ser recongelados.

• Guarde alimentos congelados pré-embalados de acordo com as instruções do fabricante do alimento congelado.

• As recomendações de armazenamento dos fabricantes do aparelho devem ser estritamente cumpridas. Consulte as respectivas instruções.

• Não coloque bebidas gaseificadas dentro do congelador, uma vez que cria pressão no recipiente, podendo fazer com que expluda, provocando danos no aparelho.

• Os gelados de gelo podem provocar queimaduras de gelos se forem consumidos imediatamente depois de retirados do aparelho.

1.4 Limpeza e manutenção

• Antes da manutenção, desligue o aparelho e retire a ficha da tomada.

• Não limpe o aparelho com objectos de metal.

• Não utilize objectos afiados para remover o gelo do aparelho. Utilize um raspador de plástico.

• Nunca utilize um secador de cabelo ou outro aparelho de aquecimento para acelerar a descongelação. O calor excessivo pode danificar o interior de plástico e a humidade pode entrar no sistema eléctrico tornando-o activo.

1.5 Instalação

Para efectuar a ligação eléctrica, siga atentamente as instruções fornecidas nos parágrafos específicos.

• Desembale o aparelho e verifique se existem danos. Não ligue o aparelho se estiver danificado. Em caso de danos, informe imediatamente o local onde o adquiriu. Nese caso, guarde a embalagem.

• É recomendável aguardar pelo menos duas horas antes de ligar o aparelho, para permitir que o óleo regresse ao compressor.

• Assegure uma circulação de ar adequada à volta do aparelho, caso contrário pode provocar sobreaquecimento. Para garantir uma ventilação suficiente, siga as instruções relevantes para a instalação.

• Sempre que possível, a traseira do aparelho deve ficar virada para uma parede para evitar toques nas partes quentes (compressor, condensador) e possíveis queimaduras.

• Não coloque o aparelho perto de radiadores ou fogões.

• Certifique-se de que a ficha de alimentação fica acessível após a instalação do aparelho.

• Ligue apenas a uma fonte de água potável (se a ligação de água estiver prevista).

Ligue a ficha do aparelho correctamente à tomada de alimentação. Se o visor não estiver iluminado, prima o botão (A) para ligar o aparelho. Para o armazenamento ideal de alimentos, seleccione o Modo Ecológico e regule a temperatura do congelador para os

• Aguarde cerca de 24 h antes de colocar alimentos no compartimento do congelador.

2.6 Função Modo Ecológico

A função Modo Ecológico é activada, premindo a tecla D (várias vezes, se neces-

sário) até o respectivo ícone aparecer (ou definir a temperatura para -18 °C). Confirme a opção, premindo a tecla E no espaço de alguns segundos. Ouvirá o sinal acústico e o ícone permanece aceso. Neste estado, as temperaturas escolhidas são definidas automaticamente (- 18 °C), nas melhores condições para armazenar alimentos. É possível desactivar a função a qualquer altura, alterando a temperatura seleccionada no compartimento.

2.7 Função Action Freeze

Para congelar alimentos frescos, prima repetidamente o botão (D) para aceder à

função Action Freeze. Confirme a selecção premindo o botão (E), irá ouvir o alarme sonoro e o visor irá apresentar linhas rotativas. Para atingir a capacidade máxima de congelação, permita um período de pré-

-arrefecimento de 24 horas antes de colocar os alimentos frescos no compartimento FAST FREEZE. O processo de congelação demora 24 horas. Durante este período, não coloque outros alimentos no congelador. Esta função pára automaticamente após 52 horas. É possível desactivar a função a qualquer altura premindo o botão (D) até que o ícone correspondente fique intermitente e, em seguida, o botão (E).

2.8 Função Arrefecimento de Bebidas

A função Arrefecimento de Bebidas deve ser utilizada como um aviso de segurança quando colocar garrafas no congelador. É activada premindo a tecla (D) (várias vezes se necessário) até o respectivo ícone

3.1 Limpeza do interior

Antes de utilizar o aparelho pela primeira vez, limpe o interior e todos os acessórios internos com água morna e sabão neutro de modo a remover o cheiro típico de um produto novo, de seguida seque minuciosamente.

3.2 Utilização do compartimento

As diferenças entre a temperatura regulada e a temperatura real são normais.

• a porta tiver sido deixada aberta durante um longo período

As diferenças até 5 °C no interior do compartimento são normais. Durante o funcionamento, o indicador de temperatura apresenta o valor regulado.

Em caso de descongelação acidental, por exemplo, devido a falta de electricidade, se a alimentação estiver desligada durante mais tempo do que aquele indicado na tabela de características técnicas em "tempo de reinício", os alimentos descongelados têm de ser consumidos rapidamente ou cozinhados imediatamente e depois novamente congelados (depois de arrefecerem).

3.3 Armazenamento de

alimentos congelados

Quando ligar pela primeira vez ou após um período sem utilização, antes de colocar os produtos no compartimento, deixe o aparelho em funcionamento durante, no mínimo, 24 horas na definição Action Freeze. 4.1 Conselhos para a

Para obter o melhor desempenho deste aparelho, siga estas indicações:

• certifique-se de que os alimentos congelados comercialmente foram armazenados adequadamente pelo vendedor;

• certifique-se de que os alimentos congelados são transferidos do supermercado para o congelador no tempo mais curto possível;

• não abra a porta muitas vezes, nem a deixe aberta mais tempo do que o necessário;

• uma vez descongelados, os alimentos degradam-se rapidamente e não podem voltar a ser congelados;

Retire a ficha da tomada antes de efectuar qualquer operação de manutenção.

Este aparelho contém hidrocarbonetos na sua unidade de arrefecimento; a manutenção e a recarga devem, por isso, ser efectuadas exclusivamente por técnicos autorizados.

5.1 Limpeza periódica

O equipamento tem de ser limpo regularmente:

• limpe o interior e os acessórios com água morna e sabão neutro.

• verifique regularmente os vedantes de porta e limpe-os para se certificar de que estão limpos e sem resíduos.

Não puxe, desloque nem danifique quaisquer tubos e/ou cabos dentro do armário. Nunca utilize detergentes, pós abrasivos, produtos de limpeza muito perfumados ou cera de polir para limpar o interior, pois isto irá danificar a superfície e deixar um odor forte.

Limpe o condensador (grelha preta) e o compressor que está no fundo do aparelho, com uma escova. Esta operação irá melhorar o desempenho do aparelho e poupar consumo de electricidade.

Tenha cuidado para não danificar o sistema de arrefecimento.

Muitos agentes de limpeza de superfícies de cozinhas contêm químicos que podem atacar/danificar os plásticos usados neste aparelho. Por esta razão é aconselhável que a estrutura exterior deste aparelho seja limpa apenas com água morna com um pouco de solução de limpeza adicionada. Após a limpeza, volte a ligar o equipamento à tomada de alimentação.

5.2 Descongelar o congelador

O compartimento do congelador deste modelo, por sua vez, é do tipo "no frost". Isto significa que não há qualquer formação de gelo durante o seu funcionamento, quer nas paredes interiores, quer nos alimentos. A ausência de gelo deve-se à circulação contínua de ar frio no interior do compartimento, accionado por um ventilador controlado automaticamente.

5.3 Períodos de inactividade

Quando o aparelho não é utilizado por longos períodos, observe as seguintes precauções:

Durante o funcionamento do aparelho podem ocorrer algumas pequenas falhas que não necessitam de intervenção técnica. Na tabela seguinte são dadas informações sobre estas para evitar custos de assistência desnecessários.

O funcionamento do aparelho é acompanhado de alguns sons (som do compressor e de circulação). Isto é um funcionamento normal e não representa qualquer falha.

Antes de ligar, certifique-se de que a tensão e a frequência indicadas na placa de dados correspondem à fonte de alimentação doméstica. O aparelho deve ter uma ligação à terra. A ficha do cabo de alimentação é fornecida com um contacto para este objectivo. Se a tomada da fonte de alimentação do-

O aparelho deve ser instalado num local afastado de fontes de calor, como radiadores, termoacumuladores, luz solar directa, etc. Certifique-se de que o ar pode circular livremente atrás do aparelho. Para garantir o melhor desempenho possível se o aparelho estiver debaixo de uma unidade suspensa na parede, a distância mínima entre o topo do aparelho e a unidade de parede deve ser pelo menos 100 mm. Em todo o caso, deve-se evitar colocar o aparelho debaixo de uma unidade suspensa na parede. O nivelamento preciso é garantido por um ou vários pés ajustáveis na base do aparelho. Se o aparelho for colocado num canto e se o lado com dobradiças ficar virado para a parede, a distância entre a parede e o aparelho deve ser de, pelo menos, 10 mm para permitir que a porta abra o suficiente para poder retirar as prateleiras.

Desaperte os parafusos, introduza o espaçador debaixo da cabeça do parafuso e volte a apertar os parafusos.

7.4 Reversibilidade da porta

Antes de executar qualquer operação retire a ficha da tomada. Para alterar o sentido de abertura, faça o seguinte:

• Recomendamos que execute as seguintes operações com outra pessoa, que irá segurar as portas do aparelho durante as operações.

Abra a porta com o aparelho na posição vertical. Desaperte os parafusos e remova o friso de plástico superior da porta. Remova a pequena cobertura de plástico do friso de plástico da porta e volte a colocar no lado oposto (D). Pouse o aparelho com a parte posterior para baixo.

Remova o parafuso da tampa da dobradiça (A). Desaperte a dobradiça superior e remova-a (B). Desaperte o parafuso e remova o batente da porta (C).

Volte a colocar o aparelho no sítio e nivele-o, aguarde pelo menos quatro horas e ligue-o à tomada.

ADVERTÊNCIA

Depois de inverter a direcção de abertura das portas, verifique se todos os parafusos estão correctamente apertados e que o fecho magnético prende ao armário. Se a temperatura ambiente for fria (por ex. no Inverno), pode acontecer que a junta não adira perfeitamente ao aparelho. Nesse caso, aguarde o encaixe natural do vedante. Deite o aparelho sobre a traseira.
