1. SAFETY INFORMATION
Before the installation and use of the appliance, carefully read the supplied instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible if an incorrect installation and use causes in­juries and damages. Always keep the instructions with the appliance for future reference.
1.1 Children and vulnerable people safety

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised by an adult or a per­son who is responsible for their safety.

2.1 Installation
WARNING!
Only a qualified person must in­stall this appliance.
• Remove all the packaging.
• Do not install or use a damaged appli-
ance.
• Obey the installation instruction sup-
plied with the appliance.
• Always be careful when you move the
appliance because it is heavy. Always wear safety gloves.
• Do not pull the appliance by the handle.
• Keep the minimum distance from the
other appliances and units.
• Make sure that the appliance is installed
below and adjacent safe structures.
• The sides of the appliance must stay adjacent to appliances or to units with the same height.
• Do not install the appliance on a plat­form.
• Do not install the appliance adjacent to a door or under a window. This pre­vents hot cookware to fall from the ap­pliance when the door or the window is opened.
Electrical connection
WARNING!
Risk of fire and electrical shock.
• All electrical connections should be made by a qualified electrician.
• The appliance must be earthed.
• Make sure that the electrical information on the rating plate agrees with the pow­er supply. If not, contact an electrician.
• Always use a correctly installed shock­proof socket.
• Do not use multi-plug adapters and ex­tension cables.
• Make sure not to cause damage to the mains plug and to the mains cable. Contact the Service or an electrician to change a damaged mains cable.
• Do not let mains cables to come in touch with the appliance door, specially when the door is hot.
• The shock protection of live and insula­ted parts must be fastened in such a way that it cannot be removed without tools.
• Connect the mains plug to the mains socket only at the end of the installa­tion. Make sure that there is access to the mains plug after the installation.
• If the mains socket is loose, do not connect the mains plug.
• Do not pull the mains cable to discon­nect the appliance. Always pull the mains plug.
• Use only correct isolation devices: line protecting cut-outs, fuses (screw type fuses removed from the holder), earth leakage trips and contactors.
• The electrical installation must have an isolation device which lets you discon­nect the appliance from the mains at all poles. The isolation device must have a contact opening width of minimum 3 mm.
Gas connection
• All gas connections should be made by a qualified person.
• Make sure that there is air circulation around the appliance.
• The information about the gas supply is on the rating plate.
• This appliance is not connected to a device, which evacuates the products of combustion. Make sure to connect the appliance according to current in­stallation regulations. Pay attention to requirements regarding adequate venti­lation.

• Internally the appliance becomes hot when in operation. Do not touch the heating elements that are in the appli­ance. Always use oven gloves to re­move or put in oven accessories or ovenware.
• Be careful, when you open the appli­ance door while the appliance is in op­eration. Hot air can release.
• Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or when it has contact with wa­ter.
• Do not apply pressure on the open door.
• Always keep the appliance door closed when the appliance is in operation.
• Do not put cutlery or saucepan lids on the cooking zones. They become hot.
• Set the cooking zone to “off” after use.
• Do not use the appliance as a work surface or as a storage surface.
• Provide good ventilation in the room where the appliance is installed.
• Use only stable cookware with the cor­rect shape and diameter larger than the dimensions of the burners.
• Make sure the flame does not go out when you quickly turn the knob from the maximum to the minimum position.
• Make sure pots are centrally positioned on the rings and do not stick out over edges of the cooking surface.
• Use only the accessories supplied with the appliance.

2.3 Care and Cleaning
WARNING!
Risk of injury, fire or damage to the appliance.
• Before maintenance, deactivate the ap­pliance and disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.
• Make sure the appliance is cold. There is the risk that the glass panels can break.
• Replace immediately the door glass panels when they are damaged. Con­tact the Service.
• Be careful when you remove the door from the appliance. The door is heavy!
• Clean regularly the appliance to prevent the deterioration of the surface material.
• Remaining fat or food in the appliance can cause fire.
• Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Only use neutral detergents. Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads, solvents or metal ob­jects.
• If you use an oven spray, obey the safe­ty instructions on the packaging.
• Do not clean the catalytic enamel (if ap­plicable) with any kind of detergent.
• Do not clean the burners in the dish­washer.
2.4 Internal light
• The type of light bulb or halogen lamp used for this appliance, is only for household appliances. Do not use it for house lighting.

4. BEFORE FIRST USE

To open the oven door, always hold the handle in the centre.
4.1 Initial Cleaning
• Remove all accessories and removable shelf supports (if applicable).
• Clean the appliance before first use.
Refer to the chapter "Care and cleaning".
4.2 Preheating
Preheat the empty appliance to burn off the remaining grease.

5.1 Lighting the burners
WARNING!
Be very careful when you use open fire in a kitchen environment. The manufacturer declines all re­sponsibility in case of misuse of the flame.

Always light the burner before you put cookware on it.

WARNING!
If the burner does not light after 10 seconds, release the knob and turn it to the off position. Wait for 1 minute before you try to light the burner again.
You can light the burner without electrical devices (e.g. when there is no electricity in the kitchen). To do so, put the flame near the burner, push the knob down for 10 seconds and turn it to the maximum gas release position.
If the burner accidentally goes out, turn the knob to the off position. Wait for 1 minute before you try to light the burner again.
The spark generator can start au­tomatically when you switch on the mains, after the installation or a power cut. It is normal.

6. HOB - HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS
6.1 Energy savings
• If possible, always put the lids on the
cookware.
• When the liquid starts to boil, turn down
the flame to barely simmer the liquid.
WARNING!
Use pots and pans with diameter applicable to the dimension of burner. Do not use cooking vessels on the hotplate that overlap its edges.

Deactivate the appliance and let it cool down before you clean it. Disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply before you do cleaning or maintenance work.
WARNING!
For safety reasons, do not clean the appliance with steam cleaners or high-pressure cleaners.
WARNING!
Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool pads or acids. They can cause damage to the appli­ance.
Scratches or dark stains on the surface have no effect on how the appliance operates.

Use cookware with the bottom as thick and flat as possible.
• To clean the enamelled parts, cap and crown, wash them with warm soapy water and dry them carefully before you put them back.
• Wash stainless steel parts with water, and then dry them with a soft cloth.
• The pan supports are not dishwasher proof. They must be washed by hand.
• When you wash the pan supports by hand, take care when you dry them as the enamelling process occasionally leaves rough edges. If necessary, re­move stubborn stains using a paste cleaner.
• Make sure you position the pan sup­ports correctly after cleaning.
• To make the burners work correctly, make sure that the arms of the pan supports are in the centre of the burner.
Be very careful when you replace
the pan supports to prevent the hob top from damage.
After cleaning, dry the appliance with a soft cloth.

8.1 Activating and deactivating the appliance
1.
Turn the knob for the oven functions to an oven function.
2.
Turn the knob for the temperature to a temperature.
The temperature indicator comes on while the temperature in the appliance increases.
3.
To deactivate the appliance, turn the knob for the oven functions and the knob for the temperature to the Off position.
To prevent damage to the oven thermo­stat caused by dangerous overheating, the oven has a safety thermostat that in­terrupts the power supply. The oven switches back on again automatically, when the temperature drops.
8.2 Safety thermostat
The safety thermostat is a thermal cut-out in an operating thermo­stat.
8.3 Oven functions

WARNING!
The safety thermostat works only if the oven thermostat does not operate correctly. When this oc­curs, the oven temperature is very high and can burn all the dishes. You must call the Service immedi­ately to replace the oven thermo­stat.

8.4 Timer - Minute minder
Use it to set a countdown time. First turn the Minute minder control knob (refer to "Product description") clockwise as far as it goes. Then turn it counter­clockwise to necessary time period. A sig­nal sounds after the time period is com­pleted and the appliance automatically deactivates. Turn the control knobs for oven functions and oven temperature to the OFF position.
9. OVEN - USING THE ACCESSORIES

9.1 Inserting the baking tray
Put the tray in the centre of the oven cavi­ty, between the front and rear wall. This ensures that the heat can circulate in front of and behind the baking tray. Make sure that the tray is positioned like in the pic­ture, with the angled slope in the rear.
In case of re-use of switch timer wait that it finish all its functions and it is completely at zero posi­tion.
To cook without a set time period, turn the Minute minder control
knob to
WARNING!
Do not push the baking tray all the way to the rear wall of the oven cavity. This prevents the heat from circulating around the tray. The food may be burnt, especially in the rear part of the tray.

9.2 Inserting the oven accessories
Put in the slide-in accessories so that the double side edges are at the back of the oven and point down to the bottom. Push the slide-in accessories between the guide-bars of one of the oven levels.
Inserting the oven shelf and deep roasting pan together
Put the oven shelf on the deep roasting pan. Push the deep roasting pan between the guide-bars of one of the oven levels.

CAUTION!
Use a deep baking tray for very moist cakes. Fruit juices can cause permanent stains on the enamel.
• The appliance has four shelf levels. Count the shelf levels from the bottom of the appliance floor.
• You can cook different dishes on two levels at the same time. Place the shelves on level 1 and 3.
• Moisture can condense in the appliance or on the glass doors. This is normal. Always stand back form the appliance when you open the appliance door while cooking. To decrease the con­densation, run the appliance for 10 mi­nutes before cooking.
• Wipe away moisture after every use of the appliance.
• Do not put the objects directly on the appliance floor and do not cover the components with aluminium foil when you cook. This can change the baking results and damage the enamel coat­ing.
10.1 Baking cakes
• Preheat the oven for approximately 10 minutes before baking.
• Do not open the oven door before 3/4 of the set cooking time is up.
• If you use two baking trays at the same time, keep one level empty between them.
10.2 Cooking meat and fish
• Do not cook meat with weight below 1 kg. Cooking too small quantities makes the meat too dry.
• Use a dripping pan for very fatty food to prevent the oven from stains that can be permanent.
• Leave the meat for approximately 15 minutes before carving so that the juice does not seep out.
• To prevent too much smoke in the oven during roasting, add some water into the dripping pan. To prevent the smoke condensation, add water each time af­ter it dries up.
10.3 Cooking times
Cooking times depend on the type of food, its consistency, and volume. Initially, monitor the performance when you cook. Find the best settings (heat set­ting, cooking time, etc.) for your cook­ware, recipes and quantities when you use this appliance.
