IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using your appliance for the rst time, thoroughly clean all removal parts in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Clean the motor base with a slightly damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. Never immerse the base in water.
ASSEMBLY
WARNING:
ALWAYS make sure the appliance is turned o and unplugged before assembly and disassembly.
Using as a juice extractor
1. Place the base on a clean, at surface.
2. Place the container on the motor base.
3. Place the sieve inside the container, gently pushing down the sieve until it is seated in the sieve holder.
4. Place the cover on the container and pull the clamp up to lock the cover into position.
• NOTE: Make sure that the clamp and the cover are locked in place properly; otherwise the appliance will not operate.
5. Slide the large pusher down the feed tube.
6. Place the juice jug under the spout.
Using as a citrus juicer
1. Place the base on a clean, at surface.
2. Place the container on the motor base.
3. Place the gear box inside the pulp container.
4. Place the strainer on the container.
5. Pull the clamp up to lock the strainer into position.
6. Place the large cone and/or small cone over the drive shaft.
• NOTE: When the large cone is used, it shall t over the small cone.
7. Place the juice jug under the spout.

OPERATION AS JUICE EXTRACTOR
Preparing fruits and vegetables for juicing
• Wash fruits and vegetables.
• Peel fruits that have inedible skins such as citrus fruits, pineapple, melons, etc.
• Pit all fruits with hard seeds or stones such as peaches, cherries, etc.
• Most fruits and vegetables such as apples, carrots and cucumbers will not need to be cut. If the pieces are too big for the feed tube slice
the fruit or vegetables before starting to juice.
1. Plug the appliance into the mains socket.
2. Switch on the appliance by setting the power switch to speed setting I (low speed)
or II (high speed).
• Speed I is particularly suitable for soft fruit and vegetables such as watermelon,
grapes, tomatoes and cucumbers.
• Speed II is suitable for all types of fruit and vegetables.
3. Lift the food pusher out of the feed tube and drop food into the feed tube. Push through using the small and large pushers and
pressing rmly.
• NOTE: To extract the maximum amount of juice, please push the food pusher down SLOWLY.
• Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 1 minute. Allow it to cool
down before next use. When processing hard food, do not operate the
appliance continuously for more than 30 seconds.
4. The juice will ow into the juice jug and the pulp will accumulate in the container.
• If the container is full, empty it before continue juicing. Switch off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket. Remove and
empty the container. Replace the container. Plug the appliance into the mains socket and switch on the appliance. Set the power
switch to the desired speed.
5. When the juicing is nished, switch o the appliance.
OPERATION AS CITRUS JUICER
Always use fresh, rm citrus fruit when juicing.
1. Cut a citrus fruit to be squeezed in half.
2. Place centre of citrus fruit over the small cone or large cone.
NOTE: When the large cone is used it shall t over the small cone.
3. Plug the appliance into the mains socket.
4. Switch on the appliance by setting the power switch to speed setting I (low speed)
or II (high speed).
5. Press fruit against the cone by using rm steady pressure to activate juicing.
• For small citrus fruits, it is suggested to place the palm of your hand over the fruit.
• Do not apply too much pressure to the cone while juicing, as this may cause damage to the motor.

6. If you remove the pressure, the cone may reverse direction once pressure is reapplied. This is normal and provides more even, eective
juicing. Squeezing the fruit while pressing down on the cone will extract more juice.
7. Once you feel the ribs of the cone through the fruit rind, remove from the cone and repeat steps above.
Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 1 minute. Allow it to cool
down before next use.
8. When the juicing is nished, switch o the appliance.
Tips:
• Always wash citrus fruit before juicing to remove pesticides and residues from handling.
• Room-temperature fruit will yield more juice than refrigerated fruit.
• Roll fruits on the countertop with the palm of your hand a few times to increase juice yield.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: Always turn o and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
Disassemble the appliance and wash all removable parts in warm soapy water. Rinse
and dry thoroughly.
Clean the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water or any other
liquid.
Clean the sieve with the supplied brush.
WARNING: Please take care to clean the sieve. The blades at the bottom are very
SHARP.
Surfaces in contact with food should be cleaned regularly to avoid cross contamination from dierent types of food, the use of warm clean water with a mild detergent
is advisable when dealing with surfaces that come into contact with food.
Correct food hygiene practises should always be followed at all times to avoid
possibility of food poisoning /cross contamination.
Dry the entire appliance with a dry cloth before replacing.
Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasives product for cleaning.
