UV Wash™ Introduction

Introduction: Thank you for purchasing the UV Wash™ by Elation

Professional®. The UV Wash™ is ready to be plugged in right out of
the box and does not require any type of controller to operate. The UV
Wash™ has been designed to produce and reflect ultra-violet light that
can wash over an entire area.

Unpacking: Every UV Wash™ has been thoroughly tested and has

been shipped in perfect operating condition. Carefully check the ship­ping carton for damage that may have occurred during shipping. If the
carton appears to be damaged, carefully inspect your unit for damage
and be sure all accessories necessary to operate the unit have arrived
intact. In the event damage has been found or parts are missing,
please contact our customer support number for further instructions.
Please do not return this unit to your dealer without first contacting
customer support at the number listed above.

UV Wash™ Warranty Registration

The UV Wash™ carries a two year (730 days) limited warranty.
Please fill out the enclosed warranty card to validate your purchase.
All returned service items whether under warranty or not, must be
freight pre-paid and accompany a return authorization (R.A.) num
ber. The R.A. number must be clearly written on the outside of the
return package. A brief description of the problem as well as the R.A.
number must also be written down on a piece of paper included in
the shipping
a copy of your proof of purchase invoice. You may obtain a R.A.
number by contacting our customer support team on our customer
support number. All packages returned to the service department
not displaying a R.A. number on the outside of the package will be
returned to the shipper.

UV Wash™ Precautions

• Keep the outside of this device dry at all times. Do not spill water or
other liquids into or on to your unit. To prevent fire or shock hazard,
do not expose this product to rain or moisture.

• This unit is designed for interior use only. Do not use this unit out
doors. Use of product outdoors will void the warranty.

• Be sure that the local power outlet match that of the required volt­ age for your unit.

• Never attempt to operate this unit if the power cord becomes frayed
or broken.

• Never attempt to operate this unit, if it becomes damaged in any
way.

• Do not attempt to remove or break off the ground prong from the
electrical cord. This prong is used to reduce the risk of electrical
shock and fire in the rare case of an internal short.

Power Supply: Before plugging your unit in, be sure the source

voltage in your area matches the required voltage for your Elation

® UV Wash™ before attempting operation.

General Operation: This fixture is designed to operate as a stand

alone unit. It has been tested and the lamp has been installed at the
factory there is no assembly necessary. The UV Wash™ is ready to
be plugged in, out of the box. There is no power switch, after plug

­ging the unit in the lamp will immediately begin to glow.

UV Wash™ Cleaning

Fixture Cleaning: Due to fog residue, smoke, and dust cleaning the

internal and external lenses
mize light output. Cleaning frequency depends on the environment
in which the fixture operates (I.e. smoke, fog residue, dust, dew).
In heavy use we recommend cleaning on a monthly basis. Periodic
cleaning will ensure longevity, and crisp beam output.

2. Use a soft brush to clean out the air vents

3. Clean the external glass cover with glass cleaner and a soft cloth
every 20 days.

4. Clean the internal mirrors with glass cleaner and a soft cloth every
30-60 days.

5. Always be sure to dry all parts completely before plugging the unit
