ELAC InCeiling Loudspeaker IC 1010

Thanks to its round shaped mounting hole, the InCeiling speaker
IC 1010 can be mounted either into walls or into ceilings. Because
of its nominal impedance of 8 ohms, the IC 1010 is cascadable
and can easily be connected to all kinds of amplifiers. Because of
the use of high grade electronic parts only and the use of gold
plated binding posts, nearly no service is necessary, even after a
long runtime. Connect it and you’ll never need to touch it again.

Technical features:

• 165 mm woven carbon fibre cone woofer with rubber surround

• 25 mm soft dome tweeter, taken from the 60 series (coated

silk dome, compact high energy neodymium magnet system
with ferrofluid cooling, aluminum bobbin, inner volume
damped with felt)

• Homogeneous directivity pattern, because of coaxial
construction

• High grade toggle switches for adapting treble range (+/- 2
dB) and mid range / bass range (+/- 2 dB)

• Crossover with self resetting fuse (polyswitch)

• Mounting frame with 4 fixing devices

Practical features:

• Tweeter can be tilt towards the listening position

• High efficiency, high reliability

• Nominal impedance of 8 ohms (=non-sensitive against long

wires, possibility to connect 2 speakers in parallel without risk
of overloading amplifier)

• Rear volume should be at least 6 litres

• High quality sound source for universal use (leisure

sounding), nice sound even without subwoofer, ideal for
combination with speakers of 60 series or 120 series.

• Adaption to different mounting situations and personal gusto
by means of toggle switches

• High grade gold plated binding posts

• Solid grille

• Plastic frame in “Arctic White” may be lacquered individually

• Comes with paint mask, gasket and special hook for

dismantling the grille
