With versatile image control and landscape/portrait mode support, the R12 is
ideal for viewing CT and MRI images or use as a HIS terminal.
CALIBRATION SUPPORT AND
QC MANAGEMENT
The R12 offers long-term image quality and
consistency through EIZO's optional RadiCS
RX1 calibration kit. RadiCS RX1 features include acceptance testing, calibration to the DICOM Part 14 standard, detailed calibration
history reports, test pattern checks, and automatic correction of brightness and gamma
changes. It also offers manufacturer-independent asset management of PC, graphics
boards, and monitors.
TONECURVE TUNING UTILITY
This EIZO-developed software utilizes the
R12's dual 10-bit Look-Up Tables for adjustment of tones to the desired values. Once values have been set, they can be saved to a control PC and shared with other RadiForce color
1MP and 2MP monitors.
DICOM MODES
EIZO's front button operated Fine Contrast
function consists of six user-selectable modes,
each with different settings for contrast, brightness, and gamma. It includes two DICOM
modes – DICOM-CL and DICOM-BL for
clear base and blue base film – as well as Custom, sRGB, Calibration, and Text modes.

Drift Correction Circuit
Quickly stabilizes the brightness level after
startup or coming out of power save mode.
Auto Brightness Control
The monitor detects and automatically compensates for brightness changes caused by surrounding temperatures and the passage of time
for stable brightness and longer service life.
AUTO FINE CONTRAST
This feature assigns a mode to a particular application so the mode automatically changes
when the application runs. For example, use
Custom mode at a high brightness setting for
viewing a CT image or Text mode when going
over patient charts.
SLIM BEZEL DESIGN
Narrow bezels along all four sides save space
and require less eye movement in a multi-panel
environment. Other features include a 100 mm
height adjustable stand, 41˚ tilt, 70˚ swivel, and
90˚ portrait orientation.
