1. Sicherheitshinweise
Vor der Inbetriebnahme die Bedienungsanleitung
unbedingt beachten! Das Gerät darf nur wie darin
beschrieben verwendet werden. Jede andere
Verwendung ist unzulässig.
Anleitung gut aufbewahren und ggf. an Dritte
weiter geben.
Überprüfen Sie, ob das Gerät in einem einwand-
freien Zustand geliefert wurde. Bei eventuellen
Beschädigungen Gerät nicht anschließen.
Gerät ist nur zur Erwärmung der Raumluft in
geschlossenen Räumen geeignet.
Nicht für gewerbliche Zwecke geeignet.
Netzleitung bei Betrieb nicht über heiße Geräte-
teile führen.
Gerät nie öffnen und Spannung führende Teile
berühren – Lebensgefahr!
Gerät niemals in der Nähe von Feuchträumen
oder Nasszellen (Bad, Dusche, Schwimmbad etc.)
aufstellen. Bedienelemente dürfen von einer sich
unter der Dusche, mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäß
oder in der Badewanne befindlichen Person nicht
berührt werden können.
Niemals Gerät mit nassen Händen bedienen .
Gerät so aufstellen, dass der Netzstecker jeder-
zeit zugänglich ist.
Ist das Gerät längere Zeit außer Betrieb, Netz-
stecker ziehen!
Nur für beaufsichtigten Betrieb.
Gerät darf nicht in Räumen in denen feuerge-
fährliche Stoffe (z.B. Lösungsmittel usw.) oder
Gase verwendet oder gelagert werden betrieben
werden.
Leicht entflammbare Stoffe oder Gase vom Gerät
fernhalten.
Nicht in feuergefährdeten Räumen (z.B. Holz-
schuppen) betreiben.
Heizgerät nur mit vollständig ausgerollter Netz-
leitung betreiben.
Nicht geeignet zur Installation an festverlegten
Elektroleitungen.
Keine Fremdkörper in Geräteöffnungen einführen
– Gefahr von Stromschlag und Gerätebeschädigung.
Kinder und Personen unter Medikamenten- oder
Alkoholeinfluss sind vom Gerät fernzuhalten.
Wartungsarbeiten und Reparaturen dürfen nur
vom autorisierten Fachpersonal ausgeführt
werden.
Vor jedem Betrieb ist das Gerät insbesondere das
Netzkabel auf Beschädigungen zu prüfen. Bei
Beschädigungen wenden Sie sich an einen
Elektrofachmann oder den in Ihrem Land
zuständigen Kundendienst (in Deutschland ISC
GmbH).
Eine Deckenmontage ist unzulässig.
Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten dürfen niemals
auf oder in das Gerät gelangen – Lebensgefahr!
Bei Montage im Bad unbedingt die in Ihrem Land
vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsabstände beachten.
Bedienelemente dürfen von einer sich unter der
Dusche, mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäß oder in
der Badewanne befindlichen Person nicht berührt
werden können. Das Gerät darf in Deutschland
nach VDE 0100 Teil 701 nicht im Schutzbereich 0,
1 oder 2 montiert werden. Beachten Sie die
Vorschriften in Ihrem Land.
Das Gerät nur an eine geerdete Netzsteckdose
anschließen.
Gerät nicht unmittelbar über oder unter einer
Steckdose installieren.
Decken Sie den Heizer niemals ab, da es zu
Hitzestau und dadurch zu Schäden am Gerät oder
Bränden kommen kann (Abb. 6).
Gerät nicht in der Tierhaltung bzw. Tieraufzucht
verwenden.
Gehäuse kann sich bei längerem Betrieb stark
erwärmen. Das Gerät so aufstellen, dass ein
zufälliges Berühren ausgeschlossen ist.
Gerät niemals auf langflorigen Teppichen
aufstellen.
Das Gerät darf von Kindern oder gebrechlichen
Personen nur unter Aufsicht bedient werden.
Kleine Kinder dürfen das Gerät nicht als Spielzeug
benutzen.
Es sind zum Gehäuse Mindestabstände von 100
mm seitlich, 300 mm nach oben, 150 mm nach
unten (bei Wandmontage) und 500 mm nach
vorne einzuhalten.

Beachten Sie die unter Punkt 1 angeführten Sicherheitshinweise.
3.1 Wandmontage (Abb. 2-4)
Achtung! Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich im Bereich der
Bohrlöcher keine elektrischen Leitungen oder andere

Installationen (z.B. Wasserrohre) befinden. Achten
Sie auf festen, waagerechten Sitz des Gerätes an
der Wand.
Entfernen Sie die beiden seitlichen
Sicherungsschrauben (1) mit denen die
Wandhalterung am Heizer befestigt ist und
schieben Sie die Wandhalterung (2) von der
Rückwand des Heizers ab.
Position der Bohrlöcher an der Wand markieren,
Löcher bohren, Dübel einsetzen
Wandhalterung waagerecht an Wand schrauben
Gehäuserückwand des Heizers in die an die Wand
montierte Wandhalterung schieben und mit den
seitlichen Schrauben sichern.
3.2 Verwendung als Standgerät
Schieben Sie die Standfüße auf die Haltestege
(Abb. 5).

5. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Gerät ist nur für den Privatbereich und nicht für
eine gewerbliche Heizung ausgelegt. Es dient zur
Frostfreihaltung und Temperierung kleiner Räume
und ist zur Verwendung im Haus bestimmt.
6. Inbetriebnahme
Achtung! Vor Inbetriebnahme überprüfen, ob die
vorhandene Spannung mit der angegebenen
Spannung auf dem Datenschild übereinstimmt.
Beachten Sie die unter Punkt 1 angeführten
Sicherheitshinweise.
Bei Erstinbetriebnahme oder nach längerer
Betriebspause kann es zu einer kurzzeitigen
Geruchsbildung kommen. Dies ist kein Fehler.
Um den Frostwächter ganz abzuschalten muss der
Netzstecker gezogen werden.
6.1 Thermostatregler / Raumtemperaturregler
(Abb. 1 / Pos. 2):
Drehen Sie den Regler ganz nach rechts bis die
gewünschte Raumtemperatur erreicht ist. Ist das
Gerät in Betrieb, leuchtet die Kontrollleuchte.
Anschließend den Regler zurückdrehen, bis ein
deutliches Klicken zu hören ist. Der
Thermostatregler, schaltet das Heizgerät
automatisch ein- und aus und sorgt für eine
annähernd konstante Raumtemperatur.
Voraussetzung dafür ist, das Heizgerät ist mit einer
ausreichenden Heizleistung für den zu heizenden
Raum ausgestattet.
Hinweis: Regler ganz nach links =
Frostschutzstellung (ca. 5°C – 8°C). Das Gerät
schaltet sich selbsttätig ein und aus.
6.2 Überhitzungsschutz
Bei übermäßiger Erwärmung schaltet sich die
Heizung des Gerätes automatisch ab.
Ist dies der Fall, Gerät ausschalten, Netzstecker
ziehen und einige Minuten abkühlen lassen. Nach
Beseitigung der Ursache (z.B. abgedecktes
Luftgitter) kann das Gerät wieder eingeschaltet
werden. Sollte es zum wiederholten Ansprechen des
Überhitzungsschutzes kommen, wenden Sie sich
bitte an Ihren Kundendienst (in Deutschland ISC
GmbH).
7. Wartung und Reinigung
Vor Beginn von Reinigungs- und
Wartungsarbeiten muss das Gerät ausgeschaltet,
vom Stromnetz getrennt und abgekühlt sein.
Wartungs- und Reparaturarbeiten ausschließlich
von einer Elektrowerkstatt oder der ISC GmbH
durchführen lassen.
Die Netzleitung muss regelmäßig auf Defekte oder
Beschädigungen geprüft werden. Eine
beschädigte Netzleitung darf nur vom
Elektrofachmann oder der ISC GmbH unter
Berücksichtigung der einschlägigen
Bestimmungen ausgetauscht werden.
Zur Reinigung des Gehäuses ein leicht feuchtes
Tuch verwenden.
Verunreinigungen durch Staub mit einem
Staubsauger entfernen.
Niemals leicht entzündliche Reinigungsmittel
verwenden.

1. Safety information
Read the operating instructions before using the
appliance for the first time. The appliance may only
be used as described therein. All other usages are
not permitted.
Keep the instructions in a safe place and give them
to third parties if necessary.
Check that the appliance has been delivered in
perfect condition. If it has suffered any damage, do
not connect the appliance to the power supply.
Use the appliance only to heat room air in
enclosed rooms.
Not suitable for commercial purposes.
Do not lay the mains cable over hot parts of the
appliance during operation.
Never open the appliance or touch live parts –
danger of death!
Do not place the appliance near wet rooms or wet
areas (bathroom, shower room, swimming pool,
etc.). It must not be possible for the control
elements to be touched by a person in a shower, a
vessel filled with liquid or the bathtub.
Never use the appliance with wet hands.
Position the appliance in such a way that the
mains plug is accessible at all times.
If the appliance is not used for a lengthy period of
time, disconnect it from the mains supply.
For supervised operation only.
Do not use the appliance in rooms in which
inflammable materials (for example solvents, etc.)
or gases are used or stored.
Keep highly inflammable substances and gases
away from the appliance.
Do not use in areas where there is a fire risk (for
example wooden sheds).
Only use the heater with its mains lead fully
extended.
Not suitable for installation on permanently
installed electrical cables.
Do not insert any foreign objects in the appliance’s
openings.
- Danger of electric shock and damage to the
appliance.
Keep children and people on medication or under
the influence of alcohol away from the appliance.
Maintenance and repair work may only be carried
out by authorized trained personnel.
Check the appliance, particularly the mains lead,
for signs of damage every time before use. If the
appliance is damaged, please contact an
electrician or the customer-service center
responsible for your country (ISC GmbH in
Germany).
The appliance may not be fitted to the ceiling.
Ensure that no water or other liquids seep onto or
into the appliance – danger of death!
When mounting the appliance in a bathroom, be
sure to observe the safety distances stipulated in
your country. It must not be possible for the control
elements to be touched by a person in a shower, a
vessel filled with liquid or the bathtub. In Germany
the appliance may not be mounted within
protection zone 0, 1 or 2 (in order to comply with
VDE 0100 Part 701). Please refer to the
regulations in your country.
Connect the device to an earthed socket outlet
only!
Do not position the appliance directly above or
below a socket.
Never cover the heater as this can lead to a build-
up of heat and cause damage to the appliance or
fire (fig. 6).
Do not use the appliance for animal husbandry or
livestock breeding.
If the appliance is used for a lengthy time the
housing can become very hot. Position the
appliance in such a way as to prevent accidental
touching.
Never position the appliance on deep pile carpets.
Children or infirm persons may use the appliance
only under supervision. Children are not allowed to
use the appliance as a toy.
Ensure that a minimum distance of 100 mm to the
sides, 300 mm to the top, 150 mm to the bottom
(when mounted on a wall) and 500 mm to the front
of the appliance are maintained.

Read the safety instructions listed in section 1.
3.1 Mounting on the wall (Fig. 2-4)
Make sure that there are no electric cables or other
installations (for example water pipes) near the drill
holes. Make sure that the appliance is securely and
horizontally fitted to the wall.
Remove the two retaining screws at the sides (1),
with which the wall bracket (2) is fastened to the

appliance, and slide the wall bracket (2) off the
back of the heater.
Mark the positions of the drill holes on the wall, drill
the holes and insert the dowels.
Screw the wall bracket horizontally to the wall,
Slide the back of the heater into the wall bracket
which is now fastened to the wall and secure it with
the screws on the side.
3.2 Using as a floor-mounted appliance
Slide the feet onto the rails (Fig. 5).

5. Proper use
The appliance is designed only for private use, not
for commercial heating purposes. It is designed for
antifreeze protection and temperature stabilization of
small rooms and for indoor use. You are allowed to
operate the heater only when it is mounted in a
stationary position. The heater is not intended for
outdoor use.
6. Starting up
Important! Before using the appliance for the first
time, check that the voltage supply is the same as
the voltage details set out on the data plate. Read
safety instructions listed under section 1.
When the heater is used for the first time or after a
long period of rest it may emit an odor for a short
time. This is not a fault. To totally shut down the
antifreeze heater with thermostat you must pull the
power plug.
6.1 Thermostat control/Room thermostat
(Fig. 1 / Item 2):
Switch on the required heating output. Turn the
control to “MAX” until the required room temperature
has been reached. Then turn down the control until
you hear a clear click. The thermostat control will
switch the radiator on and off automatically to
maintain the room temperature at an almost constant
level. However, this presupposes that the radiator
has sufficient output to cover the heating
requirements for the room.
Note: Turn the controller all the way to the left =
antifreeze setting (approx. 5°C to 8°C) The device
automatically switches itself on or off.
6.2 Overheating guard
In case of excessive heating, the heating function
shuts down automatically. If this occurs, turn off the
appliance, disconnect the mains plug and wait a few
minutes for the appliance to cool. After eliminating
the cause (e.g. a covered air grille), the appliance
can be switched on again. If the overheating guard
triggers repeatedly, please contact your customer
service center (in Germany ISC GmbH).
7. Maintenance and cleaning
Before carrying out any cleaning and maintenance
work the appliance must be turned off,
disconnected from the power supply and cooled
down.
Maintenance and repair work may only be carried
out by an electrical servicing contractor or your
customer service center.
Check the mains lead at regular intervals for signs
of defects or damage. A damaged mains lead may
only be replaced by an electrician or the customer
service responsible for your country in compliance
with the relevant regulations.
Use a damp cloth to clean the casing.
Remove dust pollution with a vacuum cleaner.

1. Consignes de sécurité
Avant la mise en service, prenez absolument
connaissance du mode d’emploi ! L’appareil doit
uniquement être utilisé comme décrit ici ! Toute
autre application est interdite.
Conservez bien ces instructions et donnez-les à un
tiers en cas de besoin.
Contrôlez si l’appareil a bien été livré dans un état
irréprochable. En cas d’endommagement
quelconque, ne connectez pas appareil au secteur.
L’appareil convient uniquement au réchauffement
de l’air ambiant dans une pièce fermée.
Ne convient pas à l’emploi industriel.
Ne faites pas passer le câble réseau pendant le
fonctionnement au-dessus de pièces brûlantes de
l’appareil.
N’ouvrez jamais l’appareil et ne touchez pas non
plus les pièces conductrices de tension – Danger
de mort !
N’implantez jamais l’appareil à proximité de salles
humides ou de locaux humides (salles de bains,
douches, piscines etc.). Les organes de
commande ne doivent pas être touchés par une
personne se trouvant sous la douche ou dans la
baignoire ou encore tenant un récipient rempli de
liquide.
Ne manipulez jamais l’appareil avec les mains
mouillées.
Disposez l’appareil de manière à toujours avoir
accès à la fiche secteur.
Si l’appareil reste hors circuit pendant une période
prolongée, retirez la fiche secteur !
Cet appareil convient uniquement à l’emploi sous
surveillance.
Cet appareil ne doit pas être mis en service dans
des salles dans lesquelles des substances
dangereuses (par ex. des solvants) ou des gaz
sont utilisés ou entreposés.
Maintenez à distance de l’appareil les matières ou
gaz inflammables.
Ne le mettez pas en service dans des salles à
risque d’incendie (par ex. où il y a des copeaux de
bois).
Mettez l’appareil de chauffage en service
uniquement avec le câble secteur complètement
déroulé.
Non approprié pour le raccordement à des lignes

Il est interdit de monter l’appareil au plafond.
L’eau ou d’autres liquides ne doivent jamais couler
sur ou dans l’appareil – danger de mort !
En cas de montage dans la salle de bains,
respectez absolument les écarts de sécurité. Les
organes de commande ne doivent pas être
touchés par une personne se trouvant sous la
douche ou dans la baignoire ou encore tenant un
récipient rempli de liquide. En Allemagne,
conformément à VDE 0100, partie 701, il est
interdit d’installer l’appareil dans la zone de
sécurité 0, 1 ou 2. Respectez les prescriptions de
votre pays.
Raccordez l’appareil uniquement à une prise de
courant reliée à terre.
N’installez pas l’appareil juste au-dessus ou au-
dessous d’une prise de courant.
Ne recouvrez jamais le chauffeur, cela peut
entraîner une surchauffe et donc des dommages
de l’appareil, voire un incendie (fig. 6).
Ne pas utiliser l’appareil pour le gardiennage et/ou
l’élevage d’animaux.
Le corps de l’appareil peut fortement s’échauffer
en cas de longue durée de fonctionnement.
Positionnez l’appareil de telle manière que
personne ne puisse le toucher accidentellement.
Ne disposez jamais l’appareil sur des tapis à longs
poils.
Les enfants ou personnes fragiles sont
uniquement autorisées à utiliser cet appareil sous
surveillance. Il est interdit aux petits-enfants de
jouer avec cet appareil.
Il faut garder un écart minimum par rapport au
boîtier de 100 mm latéralement, 300 mm vers le
haut, 150 mm vers le bas (en cas de montage
mural) et 500 mm vers l’avant.

Respectez le point 1 - consignes de sécurité.
3.1 Montage mural (fig. 2-4)
Attention ! Assurez-vous qu’aucun câble ni aucune
installation ne se trouve dans la zone des forures (p.
ex. des conduits d’eau). Veillez à à bien fixer
l’appareil au mur en position horizontale.
Supprimez les deux vis de sécurité latérales (1)
avec lesquelles la fixation murale est fixée sur le
chauffeur et repoussez la fixation murale (2) du
dos du chauffeur.
Marquez la position des trous de forage sur le mur,
percez les trous, placez les chevilles
Vissez la fixation murale au mur en position
horizontale
Poussez le panneau arrière du boîtier du chauffeur
dans la fixation murale montée sur le mur et
assurez-le via les vis latérales.
3.2 Utilisation comme appareil sur pieds
Enfilez les pieds sur la barre de retenue (fig. 5).

5. Utilisation conforme à l’affectation
Cet appareil est exclusivement conçu pour l’emploi
privé et non pour un chauffage industriel. Il sert à
éviter le gel et à tempérer les petites pièces et est
conçu pour être utilisé à domicile. Il est uniquement
permis d’utiliser le radiateur antigel de façon
stationnaire. Ce chauffeur ne doit pas être utilisé à
l’air libre.
6. Mise en service
Attention ! Contrôlez, avant la mise en service, si
la tension présente correspond bien à celle
indiquée sur la plaque de données de l’appareil.
Veuillez respecter les consignes de sécurité du
chapitre 1.
Lors de la première mise en service ou après un
arrêt prolongé de l’appareil, il est possible qu’une
odeur se dégage brièvement. Ceci n’est pas une
défaillance. Pour mettre le radiateur antigel
complètement hors circuit, débranchez la fiche de
contact.
6.1 Régulateur à thermostat / régulateur de
température (fig. 1/rep. 2) :
mettez la puissance de chauffage désirée en marche
. Tournez le régulateur sur « MAX » jusqu’à avoir
atteint la température ambiante désirée. Ensuite,
tournez le régulateur dans le sens inverse jusqu’à
entendre nettement un clic. Le régulateur à
thermostat met automatiquement l’élément de
chauffage en et hors circuit et assure une
température ambiante constante. La condition
préalable pour cela est que l’appareil de chauffage
soit pourvu d’une puissance calorifique suffisante
pour le volume à chauffer.
Remarque : Régulateur complètement à gauche =
position de protection contre le gel (env. 5°C – 8°C).
L’appareil se met automatiquement en / hors circuit.
6.2 Protection contre la surchauffe
En cas de réchauffement trop important, le chauffage
de l’appareil se met automatiquement hors circuit. Si
c’est le cas, mettez l’appareil hors circuit, tirez la
fiche de contact et laissez refroidir quelques minutes.
Après élimination de l’origine (par ex. grille d’aération
recouverte) l’appareil peut être mis à nouveau en
circuit. Si la protection contre la surchauffe se
déclenche une nouvelle fois, veuillez contacter votre
service après vente (en Allemagne ISC GmbH).
7. Maintenance et nettoyage
Avant d’entammer des travaux de nettoyage et de
maintenance, l’appareil doit être mis hors circuit,
