Safety Tips
1. Prior to charging, make sure the battery pack is completely discharged by running the electric motor until it slows down.
Note: Discharge the Ni-Cd pack every cycle. Failure to do so will decrease the capacity and flying time of the battery.
2. For best results, let the battery pack cool before charging. Heat can prevent a battery from charging to full capacity and also decreases the performance of the battery.
3. Once the pack is ready to be charged, attach the red (positive +) alligator clip to the red "positive" terminal of the 12V power source.
4. Attach the black (negative-) alligator clip to the "negative" terminal of the 12V power source.
5. Make certain that you hook up the charger to the correct polarity of the 12V power source.
6. Use the graph provided on the back of the charger to select the correct charge time needed to fully charge the battery pack. The graph will give a recommended charging time (of a fully discharged battery) based upon the capacity of your battery pack.
7. Continue to monitor the battery as it is being charged. After the battery has been fully charged, disconnect the charger from the battery.
